00:00We're doing a geotechnical assessment, which is required for the structural engineer to design the footings
00:08and the piers that will go under the building eventually.
00:11There's so much work that's got to be done at the front end before this project starts to be built on site,
00:19but this is all the behind the scenes.
00:31It's exciting. Nuri and I are so excited.
00:34We live, breathe and eat in this project, and it's just finally nice to see some machinery on site.
00:44The Menzies Project will be Tamworth's first ever mid-rise apartment complex,
00:48and it may be the last one it gets for a while,
00:51with recent changes to building regulations making it difficult for the project to be replicated across the city.
00:57With the planning legislation now and the building code in New South Wales,
01:01these projects are going to be few and far between, so this will be a landmark for Tamworth in the CBD.
01:06I think it's just very exciting.
01:08Campbell and Nuri have put a lot of time in the last two or three years to get to this stage,
01:12and the market's demanding it.
01:14We've got nearly 20 of the 22 units allocated.
01:17It's exciting to see it finally start.
01:19We're actually on site starting a little piece, but we're starting.
