00:00And now, stand by for adventure, three, two, one, in the exciting story of Scratch and
00:28His Feathered Friend.
00:34Interplanetary space investigator, Colonel Gleek, and his deputies, Squeak and Scratch,
00:41roared with eutomic speed past the black planet, Pluto, over and under the green planet, Neptune,
00:48and Uranus, through the glowing yellow rings of Saturn, and then screeched to a halt, directly
00:56over the twelfth moon of Jupiter.
00:58Somewhere below, on this mysterious satellite, lurked the evil Dr. Destructo, master criminal
01:05of outer space.
01:07This time, Gleek meant to track him down for sure.
01:11To Scratch, the caveman, landing here was like stepping back into the dim past of his
01:18childhood.
01:19Because this forgotten world was inhabited by the same prehistoric monsters which roamed
01:24the earth when Scratch was just a boy, back in the days of the dinosaurs.
01:30Anxiously, Gleek searched the horizon with his eutomic visl scanner, and quickly spotted
01:36Destructo's hideaway, high on a rocky cliff beyond.
01:41At twilight, they would attack, and capture the villain in his lair.
01:47Meanwhile, Squeak settled down on a cozy bed of soft green ferns to rest until zero hour,
01:54and Scratch, remembering his childhood, went happily off in search of a tasty prehistoric
01:59egg, a luscious treat he had not enjoyed for several thousand years.
02:05The caveman was at home here, and no beast, regardless of size, ferociousness, or cunning,
02:17could frighten him, or keep him from finding that egg.
02:22Until then, Scratch sought it, the biggest, roundest, most delicious egg there ever was.
02:29But when Scratch reached to pick up his prize, it suddenly began to shake, and rattle, and
02:36roll, round and round.
02:38The caveman dove under a feather to hide just as the great egg shattered, and there stood
02:44a strange bird, a super bird, far larger than Scratch himself.
02:50Hiding the top of Scratch's head was another egg.
02:52The bird tried to peck it open, too, and when Scratch leaped up, the bird felt sure this
02:57was his newly hatched brother, and he began to hug the caveman joyfully.
03:02Meanwhile, as twilight gathered, Bleep and Squeak silently closed in on the entrance
03:09to Dr. Destructo's secret cave.
03:11A strange glow from within meant the mad scientist was busy at work, and his capture looked easy
03:19if only they could be quiet enough to surprise him.
03:22But just at that moment, Squeak accidentally squeaked, alerting the huge vampire bat which
03:28stood guard at the mouth of the cave.
03:30The evil creature lunged towards them.
03:32At the same time, Bleep aimed a blast of futomic energy at the beast, but too late, he realized
03:39that the long trip to Jupiter's twelfth moon had completely discharged his futomic storage
03:44batteries.
03:45Now, the great bat swooped upward, clutching the helpless pair.
03:50But Scratch, riding his prehistoric super bird, had also seen the bat, and in an instant,
