00:00The theme lives once again, Notre Dame plus the points. It was
00:10our second ranked versus ranked game to end out the Saturday
00:14slate in prime time in College Station. Riley Leonard in his
00:18debut for the Irish prevails for Notre Dame. Twenty-three to
00:22thirteen over Texas A and M. The Irish win outright Cavs a two
00:26and a half point underdog. What's the saying? It looks a
00:29little different when that Rolls-Royce pulls up. I mean,
00:31we hear all about these positive things about Texas A
00:33and M. Ooh, what if Connor Wegman? Ooh, what if Mike
00:36Alco? Ooh, what if this defense? I mean, did any defense have a
00:40better performance than what Notre Dame just put on? I mean,
00:42unless you you don't believe in Connor Wegman, which is
00:44totally valid but there's gonna be a team that might draft this
00:47kid in the first round and Notre Dame held him to twelve
00:50for thirty passing a hundred total yards, 3.3 yards per
00:54attempt, no touchdowns, two picks, and did a whole bunch of
00:56nothing on the ground. I mean, they dominated this football
00:59game. The offense didn't have it and that's concerning for
01:02Notre Dame big picture in terms of winning a title but if
01:06somebody who didn't have them in the CFP, I think they should
01:08be one of the three biggest favorites to make it.
01:10Absolutely. Offensive line was the biggest thing. When they
01:12had to run the football band, they did. A buck ninety-eight
01:15on the ground and you saw the mobility of Riley Leonard in
01:18the fourth quarter. Twelve rush attempts, 63 yards for the
01:22Notre Dame quarterback propelling the offense. The
01:24downfield passing attack under Mike Denbrock remains a work in
01:28progress. Former Clemson wideout, Bo Collins, the leading
01:31receiver for the Irish last night but the ground game was
01:35great for Notre Dame.
