00:00Best collection, well I made one in January, but for an actual fashion show, not since 2018.

00:06I believe you only had one Super Ages collection.

00:09It felt like, about two and a half months.

00:11Oh, two and a half months.

00:12But oh, it was not enough time.

00:14It was not enough time, right?

00:15So where did you source the material?

00:16Did you, was that part of your Divisoria trip?

00:19Divisoria, Ukay Ukay, El Capolo, Kamuning, Bench also had end of season clearance clothing that I upcycled as well.

00:28And I got shells from my Sure Gown trip from the island.

00:32So it was a lot of sourcing all over the Philippines though.

00:35Was it, what was the message you want to impart to the viewers who will see this collection?

00:41You know, this was my first collection in the Philippines.

00:44I wanted to showcase my streetwear and edgy side.

00:46I think a lot of people know me as Miss Universe, but I have a very like rugged, streetwear, edgy vibe that I wanted to showcase.

00:54Like a more cool, effortless girl.

00:56And this is kind of the style that I've always had, but I haven't really, a lot of people haven't seen.

01:03Last question for me.

01:04I saw some of your pieces on sale at the back there from the racks.

01:08Oh yes, honey.

01:09How is it different when you're designing those pieces compared to the ones that you showcase on the runway?

01:15Those pieces are from my collection earlier this year.

01:18That was my first collection outside of Miss Universe.

01:21So I brought them here to the Philippines because a lot of people couldn't access them in America.

01:26I think a lot of people like them.

01:28But they're also upcycled as well because sustainability is always at the forefront for me.

01:33I wouldn't expect anything less from you.

01:35Can you share how Bench approached you for this runway show?

01:39I went to TurnoCon recently and I saw Ben Chan.

01:43And the first thing he said to me was, he said, do you want to do a Bench Fashion Week?

01:47And I was stunned.

01:48I was like, oh, yeah.

01:50So that's kind of how it happened.

01:52It was very spontaneous and I couldn't pass up the offer.
