Chinese Coast Guard vessel rams BRP Teresa Magbanua in Escoda Shoal

The Philippine Coast Guard reported that a Chinese Coast Guard vessel intentionally rammed the BRP Teresa Magbanua multiple times on the afternoon of Saturday, August 31, at Escoda Shoal.

"This afternoon, the Chinese Coast Guard vessel deliberately collided with the BRP Teresa Magbanua three times, despite no provocation from the Philippine Coast Guard," said Commodore Jay Tarriela, PCG spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea, in a post.
