00:00What was your initial reaction when you got the call to perform at the Blackpool Illuminations?

00:05I mean this is legendary to perform at the Blackpool Illuminations it feels like a real

00:09honour it's something I've never experienced before I've had to learn a lot about it the

00:13fact it's been around for over 140 years I think the very beginning people were coming

00:17from candlelit buildings to come for this illumination I jumped straight away couldn't

00:21wait to bring my whole family and come and DJ and bring good vibes.

00:25Yeah what was your family's reaction when you told them that you got this call as well?

00:29They were just so excited I mean it's something like my husband Max was saying if they left

00:33the lights on in the house his dad would say it's about like the illuminations of Blackpool

00:37in here it's like quite a thing so of course I'm now living in in the UK for over 10 years

00:43this feels like you know every experience I have that's here makes me feel even closer to home.

00:48Yeah what's been your first impressions of Blackpool today?

00:52I mean it's just been phenomenal our impressions today was just the kids screaming wanting to go

00:56to every little place to explore it the beaches are beautiful the piers have been amazing we've

01:01had so much fun riding all the rides and eating hot dogs and having ice cream it's like the

01:06ultimate place for family. What would be your message to everyone who's come out today to

01:11see you perform and see the illuminations get switched on today?

01:14To everyone that's come out for the illuminations and to see me perform I mean I'm just so excited

01:19to be here I can't wait to vibe with everybody everybody seems like they're really up for having

01:24a good time it feels electric the streets have just been filling with people all day long so

01:29it's time to make it legendary one more time around.
