These lunch rolls may *look* like bagels, but they are so much more. In this video, Nicole shows you how to make ham and cheese picnic rolls with softened crescent dough! Ideal for a packed lunch at the beach, each tender roll is loaded with a gooey ham, cheese, and green onion mixture that cooks to perfection in the oven.

00:00When I saw these picnic rolls, I knew I had to make them.
00:02Start by chopping up green onion and salami
00:04and mix that together with some shredded cheddar cheese
00:06and an egg to hold it all together.
00:08And then break out our favorite can.
00:09Use two triangles for each sandwich
00:11and just press the seams together with your fingers.
00:13Then place the filling along the long side,
00:16roll it up, and fold it over like a bagel.
00:19Then brush them with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
00:21And bake at 375 for 13 to 15 minutes.
00:24Those are so cute.
00:26I love the thought that these are perfect for the beach
00:27or the lake or the boat,
00:29but they're also great to put in kids' lunches.
00:32Mm, what's not to love?
00:34That crescent roll is so soft, a little bit sweet,
00:37but then you've got all that gooey, salty cheese.
00:40It's a good idea.
