कंगना रनौत के किसान आंदोलन वाले बयान पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए पूर्व सांसद सिमरनजीत सिंह मान ने विवादित बयान देते हुए कहा कि उन्हें तो रेप का बहुत तजुर्बा है। सिमरनजीत के इस बयान पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए बीजेपी के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता तुहिन सिन्हा ने कहा कि सिमरनजीत सिंह मान का यह बयान उनकी विकृत मानसिकता का परिचय देता है। कोई भी व्यक्ति अगर इस तरह के बयान दे तो वह सीधा-सीधा जो है लोगों को रेप के लिए उकसा रहा होता है और यह बयान जो है किसी पूर्व सांसद के द्वारा दिया जाना कि किसी पॉलिटिकल पार्टी के एक्टिव मेंबर के द्वारा दिया जाना इसकी जितनी निंदा जितनी की जाए कम होगी। कंगना रनौत ने जो भी बयान दिया था इससे चार-पांच दिन पहले इसके लिए पार्टी ने चार-पांच दिन पहले ही प्रेस रिलीज निकाली थी और स्पष्टीकरण दे दिया था।
