00:00The active case of MPOX or Bankipak in the Philippines is now five, according to the Department of Health.

00:11The 26-year-old woman from Metro Manila added to the MPOX case No. 13.

00:19The first thing she noticed were her symptoms of rashes and fever on August 20.

00:24She is now recovering at home.

00:26The youngest of the active cases is also in home quarantine.

00:30The 12-year-old male patient from Calabarzon started showing symptoms on August 10.

00:39According to the DOH, the two have no travel history.

00:42In total, 14 cases of MPOX have been registered in the country since July 2022.
