When you visit shrines in Tokyo, you're often surprised by the sanctuaries that have been protected by the people.
Floods, fires, earthquakes, war damage, and materialism.
Small shrines, shrines enshrined on the roofs of buildings, shrines directly under the highway.
A sacred place that supports people in whatever form, and a guardian that protects it.
I wanted to share this beautiful sight, so I made this video.
Old photographs of Japanese landscapes and Japanese people of the past.
There is a Japan that seems likely to be forgotten. I really don't want to forget this forgotten Japan.
The photographs are around 100 years old, some are around 150 years old, and some are 85 years old.
Please come and feel the connection with the people of the past.
