00:00:58This city was once the capital of a small and flourishing kingdom,
00:01:02now buried and all but forgotten.
00:01:05For many years it was ruled over by the wise and just King Anurius
00:01:09and his gracious queen, Leta.
00:01:12But as it often happens to the beautiful and the good,
00:01:17forces of evil descended upon them.
00:01:20From the wild and savage regions of the north,
00:01:22hordes of barbarians swept down on them,
00:01:24led by the ferocious Ayak.
00:01:28Terror and death reigned where once there had been peace and happiness.
00:01:34
00:02:02Let them all down! Into the palace, quick!
00:02:05Hurry! Hurry! Close the door!
00:02:09

00:02:21Anurius!
00:02:22
00:02:23You can still save yourself, quick.
00:02:25Go through the passageway to Nemeth.
00:02:26No, I won't leave. I'll stay here with you.
00:02:29No, no, believe me, it's all finished now.
00:02:31It would only be a worthless sacrifice for you,
00:02:33and you have so much to live for, our beloved son, Ursus.
00:02:37You must save the child, and one day Ursus will return to avenge me.
00:02:40
00:02:51Take this. It is a symbol of my power.
00:02:54Now I give it to my son, Ursus. He must keep it always.
00:02:57Put it on him.
00:02:59
00:03:03Go now. Don't lose a minute.
00:03:05Save our son, Ursus.
00:03:06Save my only son, Janus.
00:03:08I wish to die like a king. Help me. Help me.

00:03:59
00:04:01Take good care of him.
00:04:04There he is.
00:04:07Don't worry, little Ursus. We've not much further to go.
00:04:12You go ahead.
00:04:13
00:04:26There they are.

00:06:51That's my boy.
00:06:54Hey, do you think you're stronger than Ursus?
00:06:57Hey, where are you going now?
00:07:02All right, then.
00:07:06Well, you want to play too, huh?
00:07:15What are you doing?
00:07:17Come on, lie down.
00:07:18Down.
00:07:19Down, I said.
00:07:20Down.
00:07:21That's it.
00:07:31Come on, give me a kiss, girl.
00:07:37That's it, nice girl.
00:07:40Hey.
00:07:41Hey, what's the matter with you?
00:07:43Oh, I don't know.
00:07:46Hey, are you getting jealous at your age?
00:07:48Yes, I'm talking to you.
00:07:50You want to give me a kiss?
00:07:51All right, one little kiss here, huh?
00:07:53Here, come on.
00:07:55Kiss?
00:07:56Oh, that's no way to behave.
00:07:58Come on, just one.
00:07:59Come on.
00:08:00Hey, give me a kiss.
00:08:01Oh, you're getting nervous this morning.
00:08:04Jocasta, give me a kiss.
00:08:06Here, I told you to give me a kiss.
00:08:07Now, right here.
00:08:08Come on.
00:08:09Oh, that's good.
00:08:10Now we're friends again, huh?
00:08:12Good girl.
00:08:13Oh.
00:08:16Hey.
00:08:19What do you want, huh?
00:08:21You're difficult to get to live with around here.
00:08:24That's it, girl.
00:08:27Come on, move now.
00:08:30Hey, out of the way.
00:08:33Another one, Jocasta.
00:08:35Wake up, Jocasta.
00:08:37Help me.
00:08:38Help me get this beast out of the way.
00:08:40Oh, enough of that.
00:08:42Hey, you two, stop it.
00:08:44No, no.
00:08:47I've had enough of you.
00:08:48I'm going hunting.
00:08:59Ah.
00:09:18Ah.
00:09:19Help.
00:09:20Help.
00:09:21My hand.
00:09:22My hand.
00:09:23Oh, my god.
00:09:24Be calm.
00:09:25Don't be hysterical.
00:09:26Ah, what are you talking about?
00:09:28We're going to be too late for the market.
00:09:30Well, are you satisfied now with what you've done?
00:09:32We'll never get out of here.
00:09:34At least somebody's coming.
00:09:36Well, what's this?
00:09:37I've never seen so much game at once.
00:09:40So you're the one.
00:09:41Did you lay this trap for us?
00:09:42No.
00:09:43I'd hoped for better animals.
00:09:45Ah, excuse us for trespassing.
00:09:47You've ruined us and the damages.
00:09:49The responsibility is yours.
00:09:50What a mess.
00:09:51What a mess.
00:09:52Hey, if you didn't have this trap set for us,
00:09:54who did you have it set for?
00:09:55Ah, never mind.
00:09:56Let me help you.
00:09:57Here.
00:09:59Look here, you've hurt my best slave,
00:10:01the most valuable of all.
00:10:02She cost me 200 piastres.
00:10:04Do you know what she said?
00:10:05All right, all right.
00:10:06Don't get excited.
00:10:07What are you crying over her for?
00:10:09Who'd want a useless little fool like that?
00:10:11Why do you abuse her every chance you get?
00:10:13Why do you hate her?
00:10:14Who hates her?
00:10:15Why shouldn't we all be treated equally?
00:10:17Who is she?
00:10:19Excuse me, but I'm a poor slave merchant,
00:10:21and if I don't get to the market to sell these girls,
00:10:24I'll be stuck with them.
00:10:27Don't worry.
00:10:28I'll see you get to your market in plenty of time.
00:10:30Then get her out of here quick, quick, quick.
00:10:32All right, you heard me.
00:10:33Keep calm.
00:10:34Be careful.
00:10:35She's valuable.
00:10:36Handle her delicately and watch out for that dog.
00:10:38Keep quiet or I'll leave you down there.
00:10:44Ah, that's it.
00:10:45There you are, safe and sound.
00:10:46Please, don't forget me.
00:10:48Come on.
00:10:50Thank you, thank you.
00:10:51Now don't you girls try running away.
00:10:53Where could we escape in the middle of the desert?
00:10:55Now how are we going to pull this wagon out of here?
00:10:57Isn't there anyone around who could help us with it?
00:10:59Don't worry.
00:11:00I'll do it alone.
00:11:02Alone?
00:11:04Let's not look.
00:11:05He'll only kill himself.
00:11:18It's coming.
00:11:19It's coming.
00:11:20Keep pushing.
00:11:21Don't give up now.
00:11:23It's almost out.
00:11:24It's out.
00:11:27Did you see it?
00:11:28He did it, he did it.
00:11:29He pushed the wagon out by himself.
00:11:30Wait, wait, wait.
00:11:31Let me help you.
00:11:32Here, let's get the wheel out of the way.
00:11:34One more shove.
00:11:35It'll be...
00:11:36There, let me give you a hand.
00:11:38Here.
00:11:39There, you're out.
00:11:40Oh, if I had a slave like him, I could sell him for 2,000 piastres.
00:11:44Yes, I'd like to see a coward like you treat this man.
00:11:46Right, I'll tell you how to discount.
00:11:49Eh, that's done.
00:11:51Hey, why are you standing there?
00:11:53Come on, let's go.
00:11:55We're late already.
00:11:57Thank you, my boy, thank you.
00:11:59You're welcome.
00:12:01Hey, I've got an idea.
00:12:03Why don't you come to the city with us?
00:12:05I know a way we could make a lot of money together.
00:12:07Eh?
00:12:08Money?
00:12:09I don't understand.
00:12:10You don't what?
00:12:11And the lions, what about them?
00:12:13Who's talking about lions?
00:12:15Who's talking about lions?
00:12:17I said we could make money together.
00:12:19But you just don't know a good thing when it's offered you.
00:12:23Yeah.
00:12:25I guess we're different, you and me.
00:12:27Yes, you're right.
00:12:28We've all of us got some clothes to wear anyway.
00:12:30Come on now.
00:12:32Ha!
00:12:33Ha!
00:12:36Up!
00:12:37Up, I said!
00:12:38Come on!
00:12:40Ha!
00:12:41Move, you lazy feet!
00:12:43What's going on with you?
00:12:45Ha!
00:12:46Up!
00:12:47Ah, so you don't want to work.
00:12:49Well, I'll show you.
00:12:50Here's the orders, here.
00:12:52What are you doing?
00:12:54Get away from there!
00:12:56Wait a minute.
00:12:59You come here.
00:13:01This fellow's beginning to get on my nerves.
00:13:03Hey, now what do you want?
00:13:05Oh, no!
00:13:06Hey, hey, hey, what are you doing?
00:13:08This girl's pretty.
00:13:10I like her, I want her for myself.
00:13:12No, no, no, don't touch her, you animal.
00:13:14Where's he going?
00:13:15Let her alone.
00:13:16That girl's worth a lot.
00:13:17Are you going to pay me for her?
00:13:19No.
00:13:20Then who will?
00:13:21Come back here!
00:13:22Don't you move, any of you!
00:13:24On your spot, most expensive slave!
00:13:26Take another one!
00:13:32Where are you going?
00:13:33Bring her back, you!
00:13:39You'll kill her.
00:13:41Wait!
00:13:42Come back!
00:13:45Don't be afraid.
00:13:48Be reasonable.
00:13:49If you want her, there must be a little profit for me.
00:13:53What could I give you?
00:13:55I'll give you a lion.
00:13:56A lion!
00:13:57A lion!
00:13:58Get those beasts away!
00:13:59Please, get them away!
00:14:02Don't worry, they're not as dangerous as you think.
00:14:04Look, I'll give you one if you want.
00:14:08She'll obey you much more readily than your women.
00:14:11Now, there's one.
00:14:12Why don't you take her?
00:14:14But you have to promise me to take good care of her.
00:14:17What in the name of the gods would I do with a lion?
00:14:19She'd eat me.
00:14:20Send them away!
00:14:22All right, if you want.
00:14:25You out there.
00:14:27All of you, go back in and lie down.
00:14:29Our friend is right.
00:14:37What's this?
00:14:38And he said he could only give me a lion.
00:14:45Wait a minute.
00:14:46Here's something I'll take for the girl.
00:14:48I'll take this.
00:14:50That?
00:14:51Yes.
00:14:53You want it?
00:14:55Take it.
00:14:57Doesn't he know it's gold?
00:14:59It's pure, pure gold.
00:15:01What is gold?
00:15:04You don't know the value of gold?
00:15:06No.
00:15:07Then you'll give me this for Anya.
00:15:09You can take whatever you want.
00:15:11I'm getting the worst of the bargain.
00:15:13I'll take it as a favor.
00:15:15Watch out for the lion!
00:15:20Get out of here.
00:15:22Well, I hope he's done.
00:15:24We're not that lucky.
00:15:25Seema's got a flare for getting out of scrapes.
00:15:27He's coming.
00:15:28Look.
00:15:29You see?
00:15:30What did I tell you?
00:15:31Quick!
00:15:32The country's overrun with man-eating lions.
00:15:34Lions?
00:15:35Where's Anya?
00:15:36Anya, the stranger's going to keep her, and I got this for her.
00:15:38Look what a bargain I made.
00:15:40It's gold.
00:15:41Where did he get it?
00:15:42Why do I care where he got it?
00:15:43We've got to get out of here quick.
00:15:45All right, if you're all ready, let's go.
00:15:47All right, if you're all ready, let's go.
00:16:17Seemouth.
00:16:20Seemouth.
00:16:22Where is he?
00:16:25He's gone.
00:16:27Why, are you sorry?
00:16:30Oh, no, no.
00:16:32Oh!
00:16:33Oh, don't worry.
00:16:36Don't worry, it's all right.
00:16:39You needn't be frightened.
00:16:41They won't hurt you.
00:16:43But you live here, don't you?
00:16:45They won't hurt you.
00:16:46But you live here? Among these animals?
00:16:49These are my friends.
00:16:52And from now on...
00:16:54they can be your friends too, if you like.
00:16:59Why are you crying?
00:17:01Don't you realize you're free?
00:17:04Unless, of course, you prefer being sold as a slave.
00:17:07Oh, no. No.
00:17:11But you...
00:17:13who are you?
00:17:15That's strange.
00:17:17But I don't know.
00:17:19Well, anyway, I guess it's not too important.
00:17:23Who knows? It might be a dream.
00:17:25Besides, I'm happy here.
00:17:28I'm free. I have everything I want.
00:17:31If you like, you can share it with me.
00:17:34Here? In this cave?
00:17:36With these animals?
00:17:38You won't be lonely. Sometimes caravans pass by the grotto.
00:17:43The men in those caravans taught me their language.
00:17:47I got to know their evil ways.
00:17:49And I found I like animals better.
00:17:51But you can always go back to Simu.
00:17:53Oh, no. It's not that.
00:17:56I prefer death rather than being a slave.
00:17:59But...
00:18:01That's Argo, my dog.
00:18:04Please get him.
00:18:06Please get him. He's afraid.
00:18:08Don't worry.
00:18:11Argo, they won't hurt him.
00:18:15Come on, little fellow.
00:18:17Oh, he'll be all right.
00:18:19They won't hurt you.
00:18:22He is frightened.
00:18:24Simba, come here.
00:18:27Have you heard me, Simba?
00:18:29What's the matter with you? Lazy today?
00:18:33Look, Simba. This is Argo, and you mustn't eat him.
00:18:36You must love him and protect him, Simba.
00:18:39And you, Argo, behave yourself.
00:18:41Sit down there like a good dog.
00:18:43That's right.
00:18:50Now, you see? They're good friends.
00:18:54I...
00:18:56I hope that you and I can be good friends, too.
00:19:00I mean...
00:19:02I want you to be happy here.
00:19:04Look, they're already friends.
00:19:31What are you doing?
00:19:43Feast your eyes, honored gentlemen.
00:19:46It will cost you nothing. Please move in.
00:19:49Move in a little closer and give me your attention.
00:19:52These lovely young maidens I sell at a minimum
00:19:54only because I am in love with my profession.
00:19:57Beauty must be preserved.
00:19:59Look at Elena.
00:20:00She's as fleet-footed and lovely as a gazelle,
00:20:02as warm as the sun of her motherland, Egypt.
00:20:05And here's the gorgeous Diyar,
00:20:07an Armenian beyond compare.
00:20:09Feast your eyes on her. Feast your eyes on her!
00:20:12But only for a second.
00:20:13That is, unless you intend to buy her.
00:20:15Otherwise, you'll spend the rest of your life
00:20:17dreaming about her, and that's all.
00:20:20Here's Ura.
00:20:26But what is your daughter doing in the palace?
00:20:28I tend to say myself,
00:20:29we need someone who can give us information.
00:20:31You see this?
00:20:32I can't do it.
00:20:41You there!
00:20:42That's my daughter.
00:20:43I'm not going to let you get away with it.
00:20:45I'm not going to let you get away with it.
00:20:48You there!
00:20:49Salute your king!
00:20:51Head down!
00:21:07Leave it, George.
00:21:08We really have need of it.
00:21:17We really have need of it.
00:21:38Zotar.
00:21:40I want that slave.
00:21:43Go buy her.
00:21:47Go buy her.
00:22:06Wait, look.
00:22:07What is it?
00:22:08The medallion that man's wearing.
00:22:10The slave trader over there.
00:22:11You will accept the king's price.
00:22:13100 piastres.
00:22:14With pleasure, General Zotar. Thank you.
00:22:16I consider it the highest honor to be of service
00:22:18in any way to his all-powerful majesty.
00:22:20That's enough.
00:22:21What's so interesting about that medallion?
00:22:23I'll tell you the story later.
00:22:25Now we must find out about that man and how he got hold of it.
00:22:28She's lovely, isn't she?
00:22:30Bring her to the palace today.
00:22:32Yes, yes, of course.
00:22:33Thank you.
00:22:34I'm honored.
00:22:47Anya?
00:22:49Anya?
00:22:54Anya, where are you?
00:23:04Hey, have you seen Anya?
00:23:09Oh, is that where she is?
00:23:11And you stay there.
00:23:17Come here, Argo.
00:23:23Argo, where are you going?
00:23:25Do you love me anymore, Argo?
00:23:27Oh, I see, you prefer Simba.
00:23:29Argo, come here, Argo.
00:23:47Hello, Argo.
00:23:49How are you, Simba?
00:23:59Oh, Anya!
00:24:01Anya!
00:24:02Is that you, Anya?
00:24:04Yes, it's me, Simba.
00:24:06How are you, Simba?
00:24:08I'm fine, Argo.
00:24:10How are you, Simba?
00:24:12I'm fine.
00:24:14Anya! Anya!
00:24:16Leave me alone, go away!
00:24:18Why?
00:24:19Because I tell you to, that's why, go away!
00:24:22I wouldn't stay too long in the water like that if I were you.
00:24:25You might catch cold.
00:24:27Look out, here I come!
00:24:32No, don't come any closer, no!
00:24:34But why?
00:24:36Oh, don't be so childish, don't you understand?
00:24:38It's a question of decency.
00:24:39Decency?
00:24:40What's that mean?
00:24:42Oh, it's much too difficult to explain.
00:24:44Anyway, turn around and go in the water right now.
00:24:46Don't look at me.
00:24:48Why not? You look very nice.
00:24:50Go in the water till I get out.
00:24:52You don't have to yell at me, you don't think I can?
00:25:08Not now, wait a minute.
00:25:13Can I look now?
00:25:15Yes, now you can.
00:25:21You're lovely, Anya.
00:25:25Anya.
00:25:30No, stop, let me go.
00:25:33On a question of decency.
00:25:35Yes.
00:25:38No, stop, let me go.
00:25:41On a question of decency again.
00:25:43Yes, or rather no.
00:25:46It's not exactly decency, but...
00:25:48What is it then?
00:25:53Oh no, no.
00:25:57Now what does that mean?
00:25:59I can't believe it will go on forever.
00:26:03It's like a dream.
00:26:06It would be terrible if it should end.
00:26:09Why should it have to end?
00:26:11It can go on, with just the two of us here together.
00:26:27Wait, this is the place.
00:26:29You stay here.
00:26:30You mean this rich buyer of yours lives there?
00:26:32What are you worried about?
00:26:33That he's not rich.
00:26:34I told you he was.
00:26:35Wait a minute.
00:26:36Wait, I know how to bargain.
00:26:37I might be able to get a higher price for it.
00:26:39Look, you want to sell it or don't you?
00:26:40Then trust me.
00:26:41And remember, if this medallion's valuable...
00:26:43Yes?
00:26:44You may get more than you'd hoped for.
00:26:45Why don't you sit over there and wait for me?
00:26:46All right.
00:26:58They're in there.
00:26:59Yes, I was right, you see.
00:27:01This must be the medallion of Honorius.
00:27:03He was the one who hung it around the neck of the baby Orsus.
00:27:06What did he have to say about it?
00:27:07That merchant.
00:27:09Where did he tell you he got it?
00:27:10I don't know.
00:27:11He talked so fast I got confused.
00:27:13He spoke about a wild man.
00:27:14A savage who lives all alone with lions in the desert.
00:27:17It's our king, Orsus.
00:27:20But look, Giannis.
00:27:22We mustn't even hope that Orsus is alive.
00:27:24I remember when Queen Leta was killed by Ayak's men, but the baby...
00:27:28Our young prince disappeared and he has never been found.
00:27:31Suppose the merchant is lying.
00:27:32He could have bought that medallion somewhere.
00:27:34I've lived believing in the return of Orsus.
00:27:37We must go to that slave merchant and force him to tell the truth.
00:27:40That's right.
00:27:43There's the road.
00:27:47Who are they?
00:27:48I don't need all these clients.
00:27:50Don't carry on, sir.
00:27:51Your money is here.
00:27:52But first you must tell us everything.
00:27:53What do you mean, everything?
00:27:54You told Sochi you were given this medallion.
00:27:56From whom did you get it?
00:27:58And where was it given to you?
00:27:59You gentlemen think I stole it?
00:28:00This medallion is my own.
00:28:02The man who sold it to me had it from his childhood.
00:28:04He never knew the real value.
00:28:06And possibly that man doesn't even know that he really is...
00:28:10Stop all this.
00:28:11You're acting as though I were a common criminal.
00:28:13Pay me or I'll go elsewhere.
00:28:18Everyone into the woods. Hurry.
00:28:20Don't let one escape.
00:28:22Hurry.
00:28:26Give it to me. It's mine. Give it to me.
00:28:30Give it to me.
00:28:33Give it to me.
00:28:40I'll take care of the slave trader.
00:28:54Help. No. No.
00:28:56What do you want to be?
00:28:57Please. No.
00:29:01Help.
00:29:15This is the medallion I found.
00:29:17The prisoners were trying to buy it.
00:29:19There aroused my suspicion in the marketplace,
00:29:21and so I followed them.
00:29:25I thought they might be in a conspiracy against Your Majesty.
00:29:27That's right.
00:29:28He led us to the hut where they were gathering.
00:29:31We trapped most of them there.
00:29:34But we weren't able to lay our hands on their leader.
00:29:36Unfortunately, he got away.
00:29:38Do you know who he is?
00:29:39He is Janos.
00:29:41He was chief lieutenant to Nereus.
00:29:43Janos.
00:29:46Everyone out.
00:29:47I must talk to the prisoners and to you, Lothar.
00:29:58Come on.
00:30:19You were told to go.
00:30:20I know.
00:30:21But if you just listen...
00:30:22You too.
00:30:24Get out.
00:30:25At once.
00:30:29So you're dissatisfied with me, are you?
00:30:34Take them away and torture them.
00:30:38Squeeze the blood from their veins, drop by drop.
00:30:41Until they've given us the names of all the conspirators.
00:30:46Get up, you.
00:30:59Dallas.
00:31:01Which one of you wants to take my place?
00:31:03Or is there someone else?
00:31:05Speak, you dog, who'll take my place?
00:31:07The rightful heir to the throne.
00:31:08He will end your tyranny.
00:31:09He will avenge us.
00:31:10And he will see that you will pay for your crimes.
00:31:12For the terror you've brought to us.
00:31:13Dallas, then.
00:31:14This heir.
00:31:15Where is he now?
00:31:16What's his name?
00:31:17The only son of a Nereus.
00:31:18Ursus.
00:31:19You're trying to frighten me.
00:31:20I know that Ursus was murdered.
00:31:22And I'm not afraid of the dead.
00:31:24Don't you move.
00:31:25If Ursus is alive, as you believe.
00:31:27You must lead me to him.
00:31:28How can I?
00:31:29We don't know where he is.
00:31:30There was one who must have seen him, the slave merchant.
00:31:33But your soldiers killed him.
00:31:34So no one knows, huh?
00:31:36No one?
00:31:41And you, can you tell us?
00:31:42No.
00:31:43None of us have been able to find him.
00:31:44I swear to you.
00:31:45I swear.
00:31:49Don't think you're fooling me.
00:31:50I swear.
00:31:51I swear.
00:31:53Don't think you're fooling me.
00:31:57Well, so all of your ambitions are based on rumors you've heard from a thieving slave merchant.
00:32:05Very well.
00:32:06My guards will find out who that dog got this medallion.
00:32:12They'll find Ursus.
00:32:14The throne is mine and I'm going to keep it.
00:32:17I have to move.
00:32:18My father escaped the king.
00:32:19All but a few of them were able to get away.
00:32:21But why did I send us out of the throne room?
00:32:23That medallion, did you see it?
00:32:25Yes.
00:32:26Why was the king so upset about it?
00:32:27It's a symbol of royalty for all our people.
00:32:29If the one who received it from Honorius is alive, it must be Ursus, our rightful king.
00:32:34Let us pray your father finds him.
00:32:36In my opinion, we should capture that wretched Janus.
00:32:38No.
00:32:39He's no use to us.
00:32:41Not yet.
00:32:43It's better if we don't take him now.
00:32:45He may lead us to Ursus if we watch him carefully.
00:32:49You, what do you want?
00:32:50I must speak to you.
00:32:53I tried to a while ago, but you sent me away.
00:32:56What could you have to tell me?
00:32:57Something important to do with that medallion.
00:33:00Only what I have to say is for your ears alone, my lord.
00:33:13Come forward.
00:33:18Speak.
00:33:20When you bought me in the market, I thought that you were happy and that my beauty had pleased you.
00:33:25You were right.
00:33:28It still does.
00:33:30Only now I see that you're interested in me, not for myself, but because of the medallion.
00:33:36I know.
00:33:37I can think of nothing else until I find the man it belongs to.
00:33:40Do you know something about him or don't you?
00:33:43Of course I do.
00:33:44What is there you'd like me to tell you about him?
00:33:46Everything.
00:33:47Tell me everything.
00:33:48I will only if you agree to a bargain.
00:33:51I don't stoop to bargaining.
00:33:54I can force you to tell me.
00:33:56Can you?
00:33:57You can torture me, kill me, but you'll never force me to tell you where the rightful King Ursus is.
00:34:05However, if you'll give me your royal promise, I'll tell you everything you need to know.
00:34:10What is that royal promise?
00:34:13I'd like it.
00:34:15I'd like it.
00:34:17If you'd stop thinking of me as one of your slave girls.
00:34:23Is that what's disturbing you?
00:34:27You'll have it.
00:34:30Take these too.
00:34:32You'll have what you want if you will only help me to capture Ursus.
00:34:35No.
00:34:36No, I don't want your gold, Ayak.
00:34:40I want to sit there on the throne as your queen.
00:34:45You know you're alone, Ayak.
00:34:47You must have someone you can confide in.
00:34:49Someone who loves you.
00:34:57You're ambitious and courageous.
00:35:02And a beauty.
00:35:05And you know I could be your slave.
00:35:07You said you could help me against my enemy, Ursus.
00:35:14It's worth the gamble.
00:35:17You can now consider these rooms as your own.
00:35:20Thank you, my king.
00:35:23I will try to be worthy of your trust.
00:35:26Now you should summon Lothar.
00:35:28Then I'll tell you where you can find Ursus.
00:35:33Lothar!
00:35:34Lothar!
00:35:35Lothar!
00:35:36Lothar!
00:35:38Lothar!
00:36:04Halt!
00:36:06This is the place Dior told us about.
00:36:12Dismount!
00:36:14The rest of you stay here and keep your eyes open.
00:36:16You three come with me.
00:36:22Playing?
00:36:23Cooking, of course.
00:36:24Did you learn that from the lions?
00:36:26Oh, I knew a lot of things even before I met you.
00:36:30You'd better hurry and go down to the river.
00:36:32It's late already.
00:36:33And if the sun goes down, you won't catch even one fish.
00:36:35Is that so?
00:36:36Yes.
00:36:39Well.
00:36:41Simba, did you hear what she said?
00:36:44We are not our own masters anymore.
00:36:47We'll have to be here now, huh?
00:36:49That's right, Ursus.
00:36:50It's I who give the orders.
00:36:52And if you don't get down to the river, I'll just stop cooking for you.
00:36:57Listen to that.
00:36:59You know you are a devil.
00:37:03The End
00:37:12Dior told us the truth.
00:37:13Come on, let's go.
00:37:20The three of you get the poisoned meat.
00:37:22Throw it down in the grotto.
00:37:24When the lions have eaten it, bring out the girl.
00:37:26Wait here till we come back.
00:37:29The rest of you come with me.
00:37:33The Lion
00:37:36Ursus is probably at the river.
00:37:38Remember, we must take him alive.
00:37:41The Lion
00:37:52Who are you?
00:37:53What are you doing here?
00:37:54What are you doing here?
00:38:01No, don't touch that meat.
00:38:05No.
00:38:12No.
00:38:15No, don't eat it.
00:38:16No.
00:38:20No.
00:38:22No.
00:38:24No.
00:38:25Ursus.
00:38:27Help.
00:38:28Help.
00:38:29Get her. Don't let her escape.
00:38:30Grab her.
00:38:31Let go of me.
00:38:32Let go.
00:38:33You know we won't hurt you.
00:38:35We'll take you with us, you big boy.
00:38:54Ursus
00:39:20What are you doing?
00:39:25Out.
00:39:26Get out of there.
00:39:27Hurry.
00:39:28Everyone into the water.
00:39:29Hurry.
00:39:30Hold it, you fools.
00:39:31Are you afraid of him?
00:39:32Get into the water, all of you.
00:39:36Cross over to the other bank.
00:39:38Get behind him.
00:39:41That's right.
00:39:43We must take him alive.
00:39:45Get him.
00:39:46Where is he?
00:39:47Look out.
00:39:48There he is.
00:39:49The neck.
00:39:50Out.
00:39:51Get him out.
00:39:52Get out of there.
00:39:53Hurry up, Ursus.
00:39:55Watch it.
00:40:01We can't take him here.
00:40:02Get me a horse.
00:40:04Out of the other way.
00:40:10Back to the palace.
00:40:12Quickly.
00:40:23Anya.
00:40:33Anya.
00:40:38Anya.
00:40:43Where are you?
00:40:53Anya.
00:41:03Anya.
00:41:17Anya.
00:41:23Anya.
00:41:29Simba.
00:41:33Simba.
00:41:36You're all right.
00:41:38Simba.
00:41:39Simba.
00:41:54Hold.
00:41:56Dismount.
00:41:59We'll have to continue the rest of the way on foot.
00:42:02This is dangerous country.
00:42:23Come on.
00:42:53Come on.
00:42:54What are you afraid of?
00:42:57Look out there.
00:42:58Get out of there.
00:43:00Come on.
00:43:01Get away from there.
00:43:02Look out there.
00:43:03Get that bridle.
00:43:04Get him out of there.
00:43:05Pull him out.
00:43:06Come on.
00:43:07Pull.
00:43:08You there.
00:43:09Come here.
00:43:10Hold my horse.
00:43:11Hey, this is quicksand.
00:43:12Help him.
00:43:13Help him.
00:43:14Get me out of there.
00:43:15No.
00:43:16Somebody help me.
00:43:17He's blowing.
00:43:18No.
00:43:19Help me.
00:43:20Help me.
00:43:21Somebody help me.
00:43:22We can't save him.
00:43:23No.
00:43:24No.
00:43:25No.
00:43:26No.
00:43:31Let's move on.
00:43:32Lothar.
00:43:34It's Ursus.
00:43:35He's down in the valley.
00:43:36He's coming now.
00:43:39It's Ursus.
00:43:40Cowards.
00:43:41Get off your horses.
00:43:42He can't escape.
00:43:43Let's go.
00:43:44Don't any of you move.
00:43:45You there.
00:43:46Bring that girl here.
00:43:48And you.
00:43:49Bring that rope.
00:43:53Now tie her up.
00:43:55And now we'll see how much Ursus really loves you.
00:44:10Put her in there.
00:44:11Quickly.
00:44:12No.
00:44:13Not in the quicksand.
00:44:14Everyone on guard now.
00:44:15No.
00:44:17Please.
00:44:18All right.
00:44:19Hold her up by the ropes.
00:44:20Lothar.
00:44:21Lothar, run for your life.
00:44:23Help me.
00:44:24No.
00:44:25Take me out, please.
00:44:27No.
00:44:29Help.
00:44:30No.
00:44:32No.
00:44:33Ursus.
00:44:35Ursus, help me.
00:44:36I'm your husband.
00:44:37No.
00:44:39No.
00:44:40Stop, Ursus.
00:44:41Upstairs.
00:44:42You take him.
00:44:43Murderer.
00:44:44Or my men will cut the rope.
00:44:45Then you can watch your girl be swallowed by the quicksand.
00:44:47No.
00:44:48Save yourself, please.
00:44:49She needn't die.
00:44:50It's you we want.
00:44:51And we want you alive.
00:44:52What do you want of me?
00:44:53You'll see.
00:44:55Let us take you prisoner, Ursus.
00:44:57And your pretty young friend will go free.
00:45:00Don't listen to him.
00:45:01He'll betray us.
00:45:03He'll kill us both.
00:45:05You're trapped.
00:45:07You can't escape.
00:45:09Now what do you decide?
00:45:11Go on.
00:45:12Tell me what it is I must do, you miserable cowards.
00:45:14Surrender.
00:45:15No, Ursus.
00:45:16That wouldn't save me.
00:45:17No.
00:45:18Don't.
00:45:20Well, if that's what you want, lower the ropes.
00:45:23Now watch this, Ursus.
00:45:26No.
00:45:30Keep lowering those ropes.
00:45:32Watch, Ursus.
00:45:42I'll kill all of you for this.
00:45:44I warn you.
00:45:46The girl will die if you don't surrender.
00:45:50She has but a few seconds left, Ursus.
00:45:56Let go of the ropes.
00:46:21Shut up.
00:46:24Pull her out of there.
00:46:28How can I be sure you will save her?
00:46:31You must trust my word.
00:46:38Very well.
00:46:40For the moment, you've won.
00:46:42Ursus.
00:46:43Put him in chains.
00:46:50Ursus.
00:47:21All right.
00:47:26What's wrong, I ask?
00:47:31I'd only hope to get you out of this mood you're in.
00:47:34It's been three, four weeks since Lothar left.
00:47:37By now he should be back here with Ursus.
00:47:40I'm afraid so.
00:47:42I'm afraid so, too.
00:47:44I'm afraid so, too.
00:47:46I'm afraid so, too.
00:47:47He has only a few days left.
00:47:49By now he should be back here with Ursus.
00:47:52Ursus is not a man who can be captured easily.
00:47:55But if Lothar has followed my instructions,
00:47:57you can put your mind at rest.
00:47:59Let us hope.
00:48:01Your destiny depends entirely on whether Lothar succeeds in his mission, and you know it.
00:48:06If he's not able to capture Ursus,
00:48:08I hold you responsible.
00:48:10But I told you everything, Ayak!
00:48:12I tried to help you as much as I could.
00:48:14Ayak!
00:48:16Wait there
00:48:18It's Lothar
00:48:20Have you come to offer your head or to claim the reward? I promise
00:48:24The joy of having served you I act is worth more to me than gold. The wild man is now our prisoner
00:48:31Good for you Lothar. Where is he out there waiting to be shown to you now?
00:48:36You'll have more faith in me won't you I brought another gift for you God
00:48:45Now get out
00:48:49This creature belonged once to Ursus treat her well for it's because of her that Ursus is in your hands now
00:49:02A brave girl I thought Ursus lived alone in the valley with those lions. I know that girl
00:49:09She was a slave of Seamoth along with me do you I was hoping you've been killed yeah stop
00:49:16Stay in this room. We will see more of each other later. But now I feel it's time
00:49:21I made the acquaintance of my young rival
00:49:26Do you out of my way
00:49:29Do you please?
00:49:31What you want have pity you're able to save us if not, he'll be killed. Don't touch me
00:49:40I'm the king's favorite. I remember the long climb to the place. I occupy
00:49:45Don't you or anyone else gas me to show pity. Oh be kind
00:49:48You out there
00:49:51Put this girl in the dungeon
00:50:00At last the mighty Ursus has been tamed and captured
00:50:04Are you really that brave hero who was brought up by lions?
00:50:08The man the gods kept alive so that he might take away from me the throne. I'd conquered
00:50:15I'll speak I
00:50:17Don't understand what you mean this precious throne you talk about
00:50:21But I know one thing
00:50:24That is that you should be destroyed
00:50:27You are more vicious than any beast in the wilderness only an animal could wish his lawful ruler destroyed
00:50:36Tell me then don't be afraid. How would you kill me?
00:50:41Would you like to claw me to death my animal friend?
00:50:46Without my eyes
00:50:50Lota
00:50:52Could you be playing a trick on me after all?
00:50:55This couldn't possibly be the unconquerable the man raised among the lions. Be careful. I act
00:51:01That's this. I remember him. I saw him first with Seamwood. He's the strongest man. I've ever seen
00:51:08We'll show the people
00:51:10How powerful this lion cub is?
00:51:16What did that mean what can you do get out?
00:51:26You would be wise to kill me now
00:51:29Because if I do get away, you'll wish you'd kill me when you had the chance don't delude yourself
00:51:36You won't escape I'll kill you
00:51:38I'll kill you
00:51:40But only when it pleases me and when I do make up my mind that you should die
00:51:46You'll vanish without a trace
00:51:49Nota
00:51:51Take care of our lion and let no one in the city know about his existence for the moment
00:51:56After I've dealt with him, I'll tell the people King Anurius his son was devoured by his animals
00:52:02out with him
00:52:09Now you've told me the true king is Anurius and I'm his son
00:52:16Where is he and you captured him too you escaped me many years ago when you were a mere child, but now I've caught the man
00:52:38Oh
00:52:57Is it true that they are sent that new girl down here because the Kings in love with her the Kings not love I say
00:53:02He's interested take her out of there
00:53:04He'll use it to destroy us as she's to be returned to the palace the King has other plans for him
00:53:15Have the handmaidens take her out of those rags. She's to be dressed as the King's favorite woman
00:53:21Now your worries are over
00:53:23Lothar has come back versus is your prisoner here. I think you might at least show me some sign of gratitude
00:53:29Where is she
00:53:31Where is that slave girl gone? Do I send her to the dungeon? You sent her there. What's in your mind?
00:53:36Do you think that you've become Queen with the power to command you want to take over my place?
00:53:40No, but I said at your side you made that promise
00:53:46True I made you a promise. I forgot I'm obligated to you
00:53:50Why are you laughing?
00:53:52Please I act it's nothing
00:53:54It just amuses me that I the all-powerful I act should find himself obligated to a slave girl
00:54:00Did you think that I'd live up to that bargain? You must you gave me your word. Why would I do that?
00:54:06You were only doing your duty when you told me where I could find Ursus
00:54:10You should be grateful to me for a little while. I've allowed you to live here in luxury like a queen
00:54:15I was a fool to trust you. I was only wanting to help you because I loved you. I know
00:54:20I was only wanting to help you because I loved you. I know
00:54:24You wanted to become the king's favorite, but you were mistaken
00:54:28I've always been in the habit of selecting my women alone. I want no help from you
00:54:35Go at once bring me the new girl
00:54:39And you leave you mean I must go no
00:54:44You're to stay here in the palace
00:54:47You feel that I should be grateful to you so I'll see that you come to no harm
00:54:51You'll live among the slaves as a reward for your ambition
00:54:56Now get out of here
00:54:59I've had enough of you leave
00:55:12I want to be alone with this lovely girl
00:55:16I
00:55:20Have had you brought here because you need help on you
00:55:26No
00:55:28There's no need to be frightened. I want to be your friend. Believe me
00:55:33And you mustn't think badly of me on you
00:55:36It's hard perhaps for you to understand that sometimes a king must be cruel
00:55:42You needn't be afraid I know you're innocent
00:55:46That's why I wanted you here
00:55:49To help you forget the sufferings you've undergone in the past because of no
00:55:55As you wish I assure you I am in no hurry
00:56:01I hope I can persuade you to change your mind about me
00:56:05What about us? Where is he now?
00:56:07Don't worry your Ursus is alive
00:56:11But why are you still thinking of that savage? I am the king don't you understand everything around you here is mine
00:56:18Men women the city gold everything mine and you two are mine. I can do with you whatever I wish
00:56:38Tell me what you want of me and I will do it
00:56:43I ask only that Ursus be saved. I beg of you
00:56:48Send him away free Ayak, please
00:56:52Then you may do with me whatever you wish
00:56:55Don't you think you ask too much? Only you can save Ursus should he die. I must die with him
00:57:02Should he die I must die with him
00:57:09And if I should save him would it be possible for you to love me tell me would it be possible
00:57:19Please please save him and afterwards. I'll do what you wish
00:57:33You
00:57:49You were the one who told the king's soldiers where to find Ursus you're the one who's the traitor
00:57:53Nobody does trust you. Not so loud speak quietly
00:57:56The only way to bring Ursus here was to capture him you know that could your father bring him here or could your friends
00:58:02No, but I can't forget. It's you who's responsible for his being in wait Laura
00:58:07I've known for some time that you were the daughter of the honor. I've never betrayed you have I
00:58:12No dear you haven't I hate Ayak and I want Ursus to become our new king Laura
00:58:18I will do anything to help him. You believe me. Don't you? I don't know. I don't know. I want very much to but
00:58:26Suppose I prove it to you. There's a way that Ursus can make his escape
00:58:29And he must to save us all
00:58:31Are you willing to help me?
00:58:33Are you sure we could I?
00:58:36Am come with me
00:58:59In
00:59:17This country where I rule the people regard me as merciless cruel and they may be right I
00:59:25Have been merciless with all those who are my enemies
00:59:29But I can also be generous
00:59:31Towards those who admit they are defeated
00:59:34You can be generous. What new tortures are you preparing for me?
00:59:38torture
00:59:45Here is yet another defeat for you Ursus
00:59:49Anya come forward
00:59:54Why don't you say something
00:59:57Anya this surprises you doesn't it Ursus
01:00:05Why are you here perhaps she would like me to tell you
01:00:12Even Anya who was your companion has become convinced that it's useless to oppose me
01:00:17And now she prefers to be shall we say my companion. I doubt that very much
01:00:24Is this true on you?
01:00:26I won't believe it until I hear it from your own lips
01:00:30Yes, I like it, right?
01:00:40No
01:00:44No, it's not possible I'm afraid that our words haven't managed to convince him
01:00:49It seems that we must give him a demonstration of our sincerity
01:00:57Don't let him kiss you
01:01:02Are you convinced now Ursus?
01:01:05You're right, it's another defeat
01:01:09You spent many years in the desert among your friends the animals
01:01:12But it seems they haven't taught you the virtue of resignation have they it's time
01:01:16You learned like most men to accept more and rebel less and Anya agrees
01:01:23Don't you Anya
01:01:25Do you think that I Ursus will ever accept this as long as there's a breath of life in me
01:01:31I'll avenge all the wrongs you've done
01:01:36I'll never rest until I've killed you
01:01:40Luckily for both of us one of the servants told me about the secret passage through the grotto
01:01:45It leads past the cells in the dungeon
01:01:47It'll be dangerous, but we'll have to take the risk, but you're mad. What if the guards hear they'll kill us
01:01:52I prefer to die rather than remain a slave. You wait for me here. If you hear the guards coming escape through this passage
01:02:04Be careful
01:02:08Tomorrow Lothar will take you back to your valley
01:02:11if you swear to me
01:02:13That you'll forget your name of Ursus from now on and your claim to my throne
01:02:18You must agree to this and give me your word of honor
01:02:21Should you break your word? I'll hunt you down and kill you and drag your body through the streets. I
01:02:26Am now the king and I will defend my rights against anyone
01:02:31You thief you miserable thief by what right do you claim this throne?
01:02:36Silence you puppy and thank me for the liberty. I'm granting you. You'll go free only because I'm generous

01:03:53No, you don't know what he is. I will never let you be a free man
01:03:57He'll have you murdered because you were the true ruler of the kingdom. He seized so I've been told I
01:04:03was too young I
01:04:06Remember nothing of what happened that medallion you gave to Seymour as the price for Anya was the symbol of your throne
01:04:13You were the son of a king or sis. I had killed both of your parents and
01:04:19Persecuted everyone who was faithful to them and to you. I shall avenge the death of my family and those that have suffered by his hand
01:04:26That's why I'm setting you free because I loathe the traitor and I want revenge if you have any plan. Let's make haste with it
01:04:35You know who I am. I'll make you a princess. No, it's as I shall be much more than that. I'll make you forget the past
01:04:43We'll begin life again. Why should we wait? It's better to kill him now
01:04:49That's the only way I don't want a trace to be found of him throw him to the hyenas and be careful
01:04:58Not a soul must know anything about this go
01:05:14I'll be all right
01:05:32You go with him
01:05:43Oh
01:06:06This way
01:06:14Quickly quickly
01:06:16Laura will take you to the grotto where the conspirators are hiding, but you must hurry take the secret passage

01:06:32It's better to get help from your followers. Hurry. We mustn't lose any time here
01:06:37Be careful
01:06:39But you aren't you coming with us I'll join you later first, I must return to the palace

01:07:15That's my reason for hating you because you are different from me
01:07:19You've made everyone admire you it was all easy
01:07:22Well, I had to claw and scratch to get what I wanted. You know, I've never wanted to hurt you dear. I
01:07:28Had to do it
01:07:30I had to do what I did because there's only one thing I live for the life and liberty of Ursus
01:07:35Do you think that I would really free us this for you?
01:07:40What a child you are he gave me a promise he did so that's why you trusted him
01:07:46Well, your sacrifice has been useless because there's this has already been freed
01:07:50You couldn't help him, but I could now he owes me his life. Do you hear me to you? Yes, he does
01:07:56Do you yes he does now he's going to join those who are faithful to his cause where tell me where he is in the
01:08:03Grotto of many beyond the walls of the city and he's waiting for me
01:08:07He loathes you now. He really despises you in time. He will fall in love with another
01:08:12Why shouldn't I be the one and I will sit beside him on his throne?
01:08:17You'll be his queen. I won't be a burden to him if he should prefer you to me, but I beg you
01:08:23Please take me to him. No
01:08:25Do you really think I'm that foolish? I don't want us to see you again

01:09:58They'll search the palace. I'll find her
01:10:00No, wait, don't I?
01:10:03Think Anya has gone to Ursus and the others follow her quietly with your men and I think you can take all of them
01:10:08Go on
01:10:15Listen to me. I
01:10:18Didn't come here to claim a throne though. Your words touched me. I

01:17:13Ursus
01:17:17Mercy
01:17:20I could easily break your neck, but I have need of you
01:17:25If you'll leave me to Anya and my friends, then perhaps I'll save your miserable life

01:18:20I
01:18:32In the name of the illustrious all-powerful ayak our King
01:18:37All those found guilty of conspiring against his great kingdom or his own royal personage
01:18:43Are condemned to the penalty of death?
01:18:50I
01:19:20Okay
01:19:51If if you follow this path, you'll find a place where I'm near the other prisoners were taken
01:19:57I've shown you the way if you hurry you might save them. I'll go back to the palace. Oh, no, no time
