00:00The Nifty 50 has sustained the 25,000 levels, currently trading at 0.24% higher, 60-odd
00:08points away from its day's highs, trading within a tight range of 80-odd points.
00:13In terms of the Sensex, the Sensex is also trading within a range of roughly 230-odd
00:17points and currently 100 points away from its day's highs, also trading at 0.24% higher.
00:24Let's also take a quick look at what the broader markets are doing.
00:27The broader markets are doing a tad bit better than the benchmark indices.
00:31The mid-cap 150 is up 0.4% and the small cap 250 is up around 0.6%.
00:37Let's also quickly pull up the contributors on the Nifty 50 today and see what are the
00:41counters buzzing in trade.
00:43In terms of the stocks in green, we have L&T, ICICI Bank, Infosys and HDFC Bank that are
00:49weighing up the Nifty and stocks like RIL, ITC, HUL, NTPC are stocks which are weighing
00:55down the Nifty.
00:56RIL is weighing down the Nifty by roughly 13-odd points.
00:59Let's also quickly pull up the breadth of the market and see what the breadth of the
01:05market looks like.
01:08The breadth of the market roughly is 2 is to 1 and skewed towards the buying side, 1300-odd
01:13advances versus 750-odd declines.
01:16And let's also quickly pull up the sectors and how are the sectors doing in trade.
01:21Sectors like Nifty Realty, Nifty Media are stealing the show.
01:25Nifty Realty is up around 0.8%, Nifty Media is also up around 0.8%, Nifty FMCG is under
01:32pressure today, down around 0.7% and Nifty Energy is also under pressure, down around
01:370.3%.
01:38Let's quickly pull up the contributors on Nifty Realty, Nifty Media and Nifty FMCG one
01:43by one and see what stocks are factoring in this kind of movement.
01:50In terms of Nifty 50, just to point out, the all-time high is roughly at 2507 net and
01:56roughly just 11 points away from its day's highs.
01:59In terms of the Nifty Realty contributors, something like Macro Tech is up 3.7%, Brigade
02:05is up 1.2%, DLF is up around 1.12%.
02:10Some counters in red include Prestige Estates and Tech Realty down around 1% each.
02:15Let's also quickly pull up Nifty FMCG and see what are the counters that are weighing
02:20down on the index.
02:22There is Marico which is down 1.4%, Dabur down 1.2% and Goldrich Consumer also down
02:28roughly 1%.
02:29But Anushi, I think Mediassist is the stock in focus today.
02:32Absolutely, Mahima.
02:33So, if you look at Mediassist, the stock is on a tear today.
02:36It's currently about 9% up, but Harsh joins in to discuss more on the acquisition news.
02:42Harsh, what is happening in Mediassist?
02:45Why is the stock on tear today?
02:47Well, large acquisition for sure.
02:49You're seeing Rs. 300 crore of cash consideration given out by a company whose market cap is
02:56roughly Rs. 4000 crore.
02:58But nonetheless, it's a large acquisition even from an industry perspective.
03:03It takes out 6% of market share for wholesale insurers within the wholesale insurance pack
03:12and around 4% odd within the standalone health insurance market share as well.
03:17So, quite a large market share taken away.
03:19Of course, in terms of the business itself, it's a third-party administrator which is
03:24a TPA for general insurance, health insurance and life insurance.
03:28They've taken over paramount health services and therefore, that largest kind of market
03:34share getting transferred to Mediassist.
03:37Now, the revised market share stands at 36.8% where the group market share is concerned
03:44and where health insurance overall is concerned, the combined market share will stand at 23.6%
03:50versus the sub 20% Mediassist had prior to this acquisition.
03:54The acquisition is going to take five to six months of time to kick in and it brings in
03:59a revenue of around Rs. 153 crore, FY24 revenue of Rs. 153 crore to Mediassist.
04:06It takes Mediassist's total cumulative revenue to nearly Rs. 788 crore.
04:12This is, of course, FY24 numbers.
04:15What Paramount has done is it's grown at 23% from FY21 to FY24.
04:21Given that that trajectory would continue, you would expect to see probably Rs. 180-200
04:26crore in terms of Paramount's top line contributing to Mediassist in FY25 or FY26.
04:33What you're also seeing as a huge positive is Mediassist has a track record, which is
04:37extremely strong.
04:39It has done two acquisitions in 2023 calendar year, both of which have turned EBITDA negative
04:45margin to nearly a 20% margin.
04:47So that's why all the positivity.
04:49Okay, so strong positives that Harsh has cited out for the acquisition that Mediassist has
04:55made.
04:56But with that, let's introduce our guests for today and take this cross to them.
04:59Aastha Jain, Senior Research Analyst from Hame Securities and Swati Hotkar, AVP Technical
05:04Research from Nirmal Bank joins us.
05:06Hello and welcome to Ask Profit.
05:08Aastha, I'll take it across to you first.
05:11What is your view on Mediassist?
05:12What does this acquisition mean?
05:14What is your long-term view on the stock?
05:16Do you have it under coverage?
05:18Hi, good morning to all of you.
05:21First of all, with a disclaimer that Mediassist may be there in our portfolios.
05:25Now I want to talk about this counter since I tracked IPOs in a great detail.
05:29So this IPO of Mediassist came back way back, I think in January 24 at the price of around
05:36418 rupees.
05:3717 January was the issue close price date, I still remember.
05:41So at the issue price of around 418 rupees, we have seen it has seen us sharp jump.
05:47So this company, as we all know, they are TPA and in fact, their one of the major strategies
05:53was always been the inorganic acquisitions.
05:57And in that regard or in that chain only, they have already acquired Medvantage TPA
06:02as well as one another TPA by the name of Raksha.
06:05So in fact, they have mentioned in their strategies also when they have came out with the IPO
06:11that inorganic acquisition will always be on the radar of the company and in that chain
06:15only they have now acquired this.
06:18So we are looking at it as a very positive development in the company and definitely
06:22whatever acquisitions in the past the company has made, those acquisitions have always yielded
06:27benefit to the company.
06:28So in the same way, we are seeing this as a very positive momentum for the company and
06:33we are maintaining our hold rating on the stock.
06:37Not a buy but yes, we are maintaining our hold rating on the stock.
06:40Initial price target which we are giving to the stock right now is around 680 to 700 odd
06:45levels.
06:46Okay, so 680 and 700 odd levels for the stock should be the target price.
06:51Now, in terms of the Nifty 50, it's currently just 10 points away from its all-time high.
06:57Swathi, I'll come to you for this.
07:00What are the kind of levels that you're watching out right now in terms of support and resistance?
07:04See, as of now, we are witnessing that the Nifty has given a clear cut spread break out
07:08of 25,000 psychological mark.
07:09Going ahead, I believe the 25,200 levels can be tested.
07:10Any move above that level will extend this rally towards to 25,400.
07:11Whereas on downside, I'm looking for a support of at least 24,800.
07:23So as long as the Nifty sustains above that level, yes, the wave will remain a positive
07:28and we'll see the extension of these legs on the higher side as well.
07:31So you can hold your long positions by maintaining or keeping a strict stock price of 24,800
07:37on the downside.
07:39Okay, thank you Swathi for bringing this up.
07:41Thank you for breaking that down for us.
07:42Aastha, I'll come to you for the first viewer query that we have.
07:45We have Suraj who has 50 shares of Zentech.
07:48We also just spoke to the management of Zentech and we've received a very strong commentary
07:52from them.
07:53He's guided a 50% CAGR growth over the next three years.
07:56So he's asking whether he should sell or hold Zentech.
08:00His profit right now stands at roughly 82,000.
08:04So I think there is no need to sell at the current juncture because what is positive
08:07about this company is their strong order book or the order inflows are still intact
08:12for the company.
08:13So that is a major positive about the company.
08:15In fact, what we have seen in the results gone by was a strong performance by the company
08:20on the financial front.
08:21Their execution capabilities are very strong.
08:23So we are maintaining our hold rating on the counter.
08:27Initial price target which we would like to assign to this counter is at around 2,000
08:31odd levels.
08:32So if someone has the stock in their holding, they can definitely continue with that.
08:38Hold rating continues on this one.
08:39Now we move on to the next query and this is from the auto side.
08:42Shlok from Gujarat, he holds about 50 shares of Tata Motors and this is at a price of 700.
08:48So currently he's sitting at a quite a big profit, he's sitting at a 19,000 of a profit
08:53figure over here.
08:54I'll come to you on this one Swati, whether he should continue to hold at these levels
08:58or should buy more at this position.
09:02I would say the overall Tata Motors setup on the technical front is really positive.
09:06The stock is trading in the high tops, high bottoms conditions.
09:09Also the interesting fact that it is trading in upper rising channels.
09:12As of now, the view is definitely positive downside, it has a very good support at around
09:171,050 levels.
09:19So by keeping a profit stop loss of 1,050, definitely you can hold on or carry your long
09:23positions for an immediate target of 1,150 to 1,180 rupees on a higher side.
09:28So it's a hold from my end.
09:30Long positions, if you want to add on more long positions, you should wait on for any
09:34dips towards 2,000, then you can definitely add on, but not at the current market price.
09:39Okay, Swati, I'll stick to you for the next query.
09:41Avneesh from Andhra Pradesh is asking that he's holding Tata Power 50 shares at 416
09:48apiece and he's asking whether he should hold, add or sell for this particular stock because
09:54he's just sitting at a profit of roughly 300 odd rupees.
09:59Tata Motors, definitely the chart is positive, but it is just facing a very strong resistance
10:05of 20 days moving average on the technical front.
10:08Sorry, sorry to interrupt, it's Tata Power and not Tata Motors.
10:11Yes, I'm telling about Tata Power only.
10:15Okay, perfect.
10:16Amrita is trading below its 20 days moving average, the current market is priced at around
10:20423.
10:21Any breakout of 430 levels on the higher side, we'll see the extension of this pullback
10:26and have it back towards the 460 to 470 levels.
10:30So from my point of view on the technical front, definitely the view is positive.
10:34If you're looking for a longer term horizon, or at least for the short term medium purpose,
10:38definitely you can hold on for the 460 to 470 downside, the support is placed at around
10:44400 levels.
10:45So it's a hold from my end.
10:46Okay, Swati, I'll stay with you on this next one as well.
10:50Now Rajesh Maheshwari from Indore has a query on Mankind Pharma.
10:54He currently holds 50 shares at an average price of about 2110, sitting at a profit figure
11:00of about roughly of around 14,000, wants to understand the short to medium term outlook
11:05on this one, whether he should remain invested or should exit.
11:08What is your view on this?
11:09See, overall, definitely my view is positive on the Mankind, if you look on a daily chart,
11:15the stock has given the formation of a flat pattern and it's on the verge of giving the
11:18breakout.
11:19So whenever such kind of a formation comes, definitely we are likely to witness a major
11:24upside rally on the higher side.
11:26I'm looking for a target of minimum 2600 to 2700 levels on the higher side.
11:30So I would definitely suggest to hold on this particular counter.
11:33Downside, it has a very good support at around 2300 marks.
11:37So as long as this particular counter holds to 2300 levels on the closing basis, definitely
11:41you should hold your longer term positions for the target of 2600 levels.
11:47So it's all from me.
11:49The next query is from KV Narayana Rao from Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
11:53Now, he said that he has 100 shares of Scient Ltd at 1687 apiece and from a long term perspective,
12:01whether he should hold or not, he's sitting on a profit of roughly 30,000 right now.
12:06Asha, I'll come to you for this one.
12:10So we are positive on the counter, we are recommending a hold as well as buy also on
12:15this counter.
12:16Initial price target which we are giving to this counter is at around 2000 to 2010 odd
12:21levels.
12:22Now, talking about this counter, although the order intake which we talk about this
12:27company, the order intake was strong, but we know that the financial performance was
12:31muted in the Q1 of FY25.
12:34So what is the major positive about this company is their order intake, which is very strong
12:39and I think that is creating a strong revenue visibility going ahead.
12:43On that basis, we are expecting the stock to show strong financial performance also
12:47in the coming quarter, especially in the Q2 of FY25, recommending a hold as well as buy
12:53with the initial price target as at around 2000 to 2100 odd levels.
12:58Okay, so initial price target of 2000 to 2100 for Scient Ltd.
13:03Now, moving on to the next query, Swati, I'll come to you on this one.
13:06This is from Sandesh from Bangalore.
13:08He owns about 701 shares of Meghmani Organics and this is at an average price of about 88.45,
13:14currently at a 13,000 profit figure.
13:17Whether he should continue to hold or sell at these levels, how is it looking on charts
13:21for you?
13:22The NBL positive on this particular counter even we have initiated a buy call in this
13:26particular stock.
13:27Definitely, the counter has given a very good rally on the technical front once it manages
13:32to give the breakout of 94 levels with the very good volumes.
13:35This rally is likely to be extended towards 120 to 130 levels, so it's definitely a hold
13:40from my end because the monthly charts given the formations, consolidation breakouts with
13:45very good volumes.
13:46So, I'm looking for a target of 120, you may hold on by maintaining a fixed stock loss
13:51of 100 levels on the downside and go for a long for a target of 120 to 130 levels.
13:57Okay, thank you for that, Swati.
13:59The next question is from Manoj who is from Bangalore and he's asking that whether this
14:03is a good time to buy Suzlon from a long-term perspective.
14:08Aastha, what's your view on this?
14:11So from the long-term perspective, I think Suzlon is a great buy but not at the current
14:15level because we have seen a sharp rise in the prices.
14:19So maybe at around 72 to 75 odd levels, the stock is a better buy candidate.
14:24Now, talking about this counter, as we all know, they have got strong, strong industry
14:30tailwind and what we have seen now with this turnaround which they have posting since
14:36last two quarters, I think that is really playing in a very positive way for the company.
14:40So with a strong financial performance and the strong industry tailwind, the stock is
14:44well poised to show performance in the future also but at the current level, stock seems
14:50to be a little overvalued.
14:51So maybe at around 72 to 75 zone, the stock is a better buy opportunity.
14:57So wait for some time, let the stock fall and then make entry into the stock.
15:01Our immediate price target for the stock is at around 85 to 90 odd levels.
15:0585 to 90 odd levels, that's the target for Suzlon that Swati is looking at.
15:09But now moving on towards Apollo Microsystem, now this is from Badrinath from Bengaluru.
15:15He holds about 22,800 shares and he's bought this at a price of 77.5%.
15:21Wants to understand whether he should continue to hold or sell currently at a profit of about
15:266 lakhs.
15:27Swati, what is your outlook on this one, whether a hold rating or a sell one on this?
15:30See, first of all, congratulations, he's earning a very good amount of money in such kind of
15:35a market and he has kept a hold long positions.
15:38At the current level, I will suggest to book the partial profits, at least you can profit
15:42in the partial profit and another partial you can hold on by maintaining a strict stop
15:46loss of 100 rupees on the downside.
15:48The setup is really doing very well in this particular counter.
15:51Upside, I believe 110 is the breakout level once it manages to give the breakout of that
15:56level with the recent volume, but with the closing basis, definitely we are likely to
16:00witness some positive momentum towards 120 to 135 levels.
16:04So, my view will be, book the partial profits at the CMP and another partial you can hold
16:10on by maintaining a strict stop loss of 100 rupees on the downside.
16:13Alright, the next query is from Drubel Biswas, who is from Assam.
16:17He's holding roughly 50 shares of Titan, which he bought at a price of 2500, which is his
16:24average price.
16:25And he's asking whether he should hold his existing position or should add some more
16:32to this.
16:33Aastha, what do you think?
16:34This seems to be like a more longer term perspective stock.
16:37What are your views on whether he should hold or whether he should add more Titan shares?
16:42I think this is a stock which could be added beneficiary, so I think one can make a new
16:51entry into the counter also at around 35-50 odd levels.
16:55We have recommended this stock to our clients as well and our immediate price target for
17:00this counter is 3950 to 4000.
17:02Now, talking about this counter, all of the segments have performed well.
17:07They have shown strong volume growth in the quarter gone by, despite we all know that
17:13there were some demand challenges during Q1 of FY25, but still they have maintained strong
17:19volume growth.
17:20And going ahead also, we are expecting all the segments, whether it is jewellery, whether
17:24it is watches and wearables or IKEA segment, I mean, these all segments we're expecting
17:29to perform strongly going ahead.
17:31So, positive on this counter, recommending a buying as well as hold with the initial
17:35price target of around 3950 to 4000 odd levels.
17:40Okay, so moving on to the IT space now.
17:42So, Aastha, I'll stay with you on this one.
17:44Prat from Chennai, he has about 630 shares of Enforces and he's bought this from the
17:50last five years.
17:51Currently sitting about a 1,13,000 of a profit on this one, buy price of about 1715 and wants
17:59to understand the outlook going forward, whether he should book profits at this level or continue
18:04to hold it further.
18:05What's your view on Enforces?
18:08So, we are positive on Enforces as of now on the back of the strong deal pipeline the
18:13company is having.
18:14In fact, they have made certain acquisitions also, so that will be also helping the company
18:18in showing strong financial performance and the future outlook is looking positive for
18:22this IT company.
18:23Although in Q1 of FY25, we all know the numbers were not very strong, but going ahead, we
18:29believe the numbers to be strong and hence recommending a buy as well as hold with the
18:33initial price target of somewhere at around 2,000 odd levels.
18:37So, I think there is no need to book the profit if an investor can hold the stock for another
18:42six to eight months and I think the price target can be set at around 2,000 odd levels.
18:48Okay, the next question is from Sujoy, who's from Kolkata.
18:51He has invested in Canada Bank shares at 111 and he's asking his view from a short-term
19:00perspective, maybe from a one-year.
19:01Swati, I'll come to you for this one.
19:03What should be the strategy for Canada Bank right now?
19:07My view is little bit cautious on this particular account because we have already seen a very
19:11good amount of a rally from almost 2021 to 2024 from the moving average towards from
19:19level of 25 to almost 520 levels.
19:21Now, at the current levels, the profit bookings cannot be denied and we are witnessing the
19:25same profit booking or say the price correction in this particular account.
19:29Downside as of now, it has a very good end cluster support at around 105 level.
19:33As long as it's mentioned at level, we might witness some pullback rally but overall view
19:39or the trend will remain a cautious or say the negative only.
19:42I will suggest if you're getting any bounce back rally towards to 115 to 120 level, you
19:47should exit but definitely you can check out with another bank such as the CUB, really
19:53looks very good for a longer term horizon.
19:55So, I will try to convey the message that if possible, exit from this particular bank
20:01but you can go long on the CUB.
20:04Okay.
20:05So, that was the view on City Union Bank but now I'll take it across from next query from
20:09Lavanya from Lagos, Nigeria.
20:11She wants to understand the short to medium term outlook for HAL and Cochin Shipyard.
20:16She bought it at a price of 4,800 and 2,200.
20:20Aastha, I want to understand from you, what's your outlook on defence?
20:23Do the valuations continue to hold despite the stock run up that we've seen in these
20:28two counters?
20:30So, I think these two counters will definitely going to hold the high valuation going ahead
20:36also because defence is such a sector which is really catch the traction on the streets
20:42and we are expecting some strong deals to come up going ahead also.
20:46So, both these are to be considered to be the prime beneficiary in the defence space
20:50and we are positive on this counter.
20:51The only problem is that right now, since the valuations are high, so maybe some sort
20:57of correction is due.
20:59So, it's better to buy not at the present moment of a time, let these two stocks fall
21:04more and then make an entry.
21:06Although the valuation will not be that cheap that we can say for the other counters but
21:11for these two counters, let them come to some sort of decent valuation and then make entry.
21:18So, both these counters are buying on dips from our side.
21:22So, we are recommending buying on dips on both these counters.
21:24So, not at the present moment of time.
21:27Okay.
21:27Asa, one more query on these shipbuilding stock which is Garden Reach Shipbuilders.
21:33Vinod Kalani from Mumbai is asking that he's holding roughly 500 shares at 770 a piece
21:39and roughly he's sitting on a profit of 5 lakh rupees.
21:42So, he wants a long-term perspective for this stock as well.
21:48So, for this stock, the long-term perspective is a positive from our side.
21:52We are maintaining a buy on this counter as well but buying on dip strategy again can
21:57be applied on this counter.
21:58So, maybe at 1700, one can make a buy but for those who have this stock in their holding,
22:03they can continue with the initial price target of around 2000 odd levels.
22:07What we have seen that the numbers in the Q1 of FY25 were not that very supportive for
22:12all these shipbuilding companies especially.
22:15But going ahead also the kind of traction they are seeing in their order booking, I
22:20think that will really help these companies to show the strong financial performance along
22:24with the industry tailwind which will always keep them in a sweet spot.
22:28So, I think positive.
22:30We are positive on both the counter.
22:32The only problem is that right now they are high on the valuation.
22:36So, let the stock fall more and then make entry into the counter.
22:39Otherwise, those who have in their holding continue with this with the price target of
22:43around 2000.
22:45Okay, well, that was the roundup on the whole shipbuilding segment as we speak.
22:48But now, let's go across to Swati on the next one.
22:51This is from Shiv.
22:52He is holding 20 shares of Amaraja and this is at a price of about 1618.
22:57Currently, sitting at a 1380 of a loss over here.
23:02Whether he should continue to hold at this level or should sell?
23:05What's the future target according to you, Swati?
23:08How is it looking on charts?
23:10See, currently, as of now, it is in a consolidation phase.
23:12Size with momentum, we are witnessing.
23:14No major pattern as such we are witnessing on this particular counter.
23:18But at the current level, I will suggest you to hold on the long positions.
23:22Immediately, we have witnessed a very strong support at around 1520 levels.
23:27So, as long as that levels are maintained on the closing basis, we are likely to see
23:32some positive momentum towards at least 1600 to 1612.
23:36So, it's a hold from my end with the mentioned stocks.
23:39Okay, Swati, I will stick to you also for the next question.
23:44Utkarsh from Lucknow is holding roughly 500 shares of SPI Bank at 818 apiece.
23:49And he wants to understand whether to hold or sell these shares.
23:53And currently, he is sitting on a loss of roughly 750 rupees.
23:58See, SPI is one of the counter or one of the bank, one should definitely hold on into their
24:03portfolio.
24:03If you are looking for the portfolio management, building purpose as such, definitely you should
24:09particular stock should be hold into their account.
24:12But as of now, on the technical front, the view is little bit cautious because on the
24:16weekly chart, it suggests a negative diversion.
24:19So, we might witness some sell-off in this particular stock for a short period of time.
24:23But on the longer horizon, definitely it's a very good counter.
24:26Very soon, we are going to, this particular stock is going to enter into the four-digit
24:30as such.
24:31So, any dips towards to 750 or 700, whenever we find some correction, definitely it's an
24:37add-on dip strategy should be applied in this particular counter.
24:40So, for longer term horizon, it's a hold from my view.
24:43Okay, a hold rating on SPI from Swati over here.
24:46But Aastha, coming back to you, on the next query, this is for BLS.
24:51Thrissur has bought about, Pramod from Thrissur, he has bought about 100 shares at 390 per
24:56piece of BLS and wants to understand the two to three-year outlook on this one.
25:01Currently, at a 3300 of a profit figure, what's your perspective on this?
25:08Basically, their Q1 FY25 financial performance was on the expected line and they are being
25:14the established player in the visa services.
25:17I think the company is very poised to cater the strong opportunities available in the
25:22sector with a strong financial performance and the kind of industry they are working
25:26into it.
25:27We are positive on this counter from the two to three-year perspective.
25:30So, recommending a buy as well as hold and the initial price target, which we have given
25:35to this counter is at around 480 to 500 odd levels because what we believe that they have
25:41a high growth potential in the digital services also.
25:45So, that will going to be a key for the company's performance going ahead.
25:50So, we are positive on this counter from the one to two-year perspective.
25:54Okay, the next question is from Subramaniam, who is from Chennai.
25:57He is holding, he bought high-tech pipes, you know, 80 shares at 184.7 a piece and he
26:04wants a near-term target for the stocks.
26:07Should he hold or should he sell right now?
26:09He is sitting on a profit of roughly 3000 rupees.
26:12Swati, your view on this?
26:14Yes, my view is definitely positive because this particular counter is trading in the
26:19upper rising channel.
26:20Also, the interesting fact that it has given a breakout of a flat pattern on the weekly
26:24chart.
26:24So, the overall setup is definitely positive.
26:27For a very short-term period of time, we are looking for a target of 210 to 220.
26:31So, it is a hold from my end.
26:33If you are looking for any stock, this 175 will act as the immediate support levels.
26:37So, by maintaining a 175 as a stock price, you can hold for a longer, for a target of
26:41210 to 220 levels on highs.
26:45Okay, well, that was the view on high-tech pipes and the final query for today.
26:49But thanks for that.
26:50We are completely out of time on this edition.
26:52Thank you, Aastha.
26:53Thank you, Swati, for joining in the show and solving all those stock-related queries.
26:57But with that, we are completely out of time on this segment.
28:01So, thank you, Swati, for joining us.
28:03Thank you, Aastha, for joining us.
28:05Thank you, Swati, for joining us.
30:01Hello and welcome.
30:11This is Hot Money.
30:13I'm Magam Vakil.
30:15And in this show, we take you through all the stocks and themes which are a flavor of
30:17the season.
30:19We take a quick look at the markets and it does seem like the nifty has been within five
30:23points of making a new life high.
30:25It hasn't been the case yet.
30:27But the good news is that we are continuing to sustain about 25,000 and that will always
30:32bode well with those who are long in the market.
30:35Even in terms of the Bank Nifty, even though there is just about, okay, so the marginal
30:40weakness has gone into marginal strength for the Bank Nifty too.
30:43And it's now up around 0.3%.
30:45Do remember that it is also the weekly options expiry for the Fin Nifty.
30:49And hence a lot of banks will continue to be in focus on account of that.
30:54But let's take a look at the Nifty contributors.
30:57Let's see where there is a pull and push there.
31:00So L&T at the top of that list and, you know, a lot of, well, analysts have actually spoken
31:06about L&T today, ICICI Bank and Infosys along with Bharti Airtel also providing and doing
31:12what they can to push the Nifty higher.
31:15But what's weighing down on the index is Reliance Industries, ITC and HUL.
31:19But perhaps one of those days where you'd prefer that name like Reliance Industries
31:23would aid the index on the up move and take it to a new life high.
31:29But for now, it's very evenly poised between gainers and losers.
31:33Even in terms of your broader markets, there is a slight bit of an outperformance there.
31:38So the mid-cap index is...
