There is no infighting within Umno over the Mahkota by-election candidacy, says party president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Speaking outside the Johor Mentri Besar’s official residence in Johor Baru on Monday (Aug 26), Zahid dismissed the speculations, reaffirming that, as Barisan Nasional chairman, the final decision on the candidate for the state seat rests with him.
