मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री डॉ मोहन यादव ने भगवान श्री कृष्ण से जुड़े स्थानों पर जन्माष्टमी के पर्व को विशेष तौर पर मनाने के निर्देश दिए हैं। एमपी में भगवान श्रीकृष्ण से जुड़े चार जगहों को तीर्थस्थल के रूप में विकसित किया जाएगा। इनमें उज्जैन का सांदीपनी आश्रम, नारायण धाम, धार जिले का अमझेरा मंदिर और इंदौर के जानापाव शामिल हैं। इस बार जन्माष्टमी के पर्व को उज्जैन के सांदीपनि आश्रम और नारायण धाम में जोरशोर से मनाने की तैयारी है। उज्जैन के सांदीपनि आश्रम में सीएम डॉ मोहन यादव सोमवार रात्रि 12 बजे होने वाली आरती में शामिल होंगे वहीं पूरे मंदिर को आकर्षक रूप से सजाया जाएगा। शाम से ही सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे। उज्जैन के अंकपत मार्ग स्थित सांदीपनि आश्रम के गुरुकुल में भगवान श्री कृष्ण महर्षि सांदीपनि से शिक्षा ग्रहण करने के लिए आए थे। सांदीपनि आश्रम विश्व की सबसे पुरानी विधास्थली है। इस आश्रम में रहकर भगवान ने कुल चौंसठ दिनों में चार वेद, छह शास्त्र, अठारह पुराण, चौंसठ कला, गीता ज्ञान और गुरुसेवा को आत्मसात किया था।
