00:05and the Gay Village Party and then you'll see what you get if you come down to Pride.
00:13Welcome to Manchester Pride, you'll be seeing footage now of the parade which was brilliant.
00:20The theme of it this year was Buzzing to be Queer, a Hive of Progress.
00:24It's based on the iconic worker bee which is rooted in Manchester's history.
00:27We have done a little explainer on why that is.
00:57And this is what the Canal Street looks like.
01:21This is the Gay Village Party and all the way down here you've got bars, events, people
01:26performing on the side and just again a great party atmosphere.
01:33The thing that makes Manchester Pride stand out to me and to a lot of people here is that
01:45you have thousands and thousands of people travelling from all over the country to celebrate
01:49their differences, to celebrate their spectrum of sexuality and everything beyond that.
01:54And the support from the whole community has been brilliant.
