PCI के अध्यक्ष Devandra Jhajaria ने कहा, “इस बार Gold Medal की संख्या ज्यादा रहेगी”
28 अगस्त से शुरू होने वाले पेरिस पैरालंपिक को लेकर भारतीय पैरालंपिक समिति (पीसीआई) के अध्यक्ष देवेंद्र झाझरिया ने आईएएनएस के साथ खास बातचीत की। देवेंद्र झाझरिया ने कहा कि पीसीआई अध्यक्ष होने के नाते में कहना चाहता हूं कि जो पिछले 3 सालों से खिलाड़ियों ने जो मेहनत की है उन सब को देखते हुए कह सकते हैं कि अबकी बार हम 25 से ज्यादा मेडल जीतेंगे और 20 देश की मेडल टैली में भारत आगे रहेगा। मौजूदा सरकार खिलाड़ियों के लिए समर्पित है विशेष तौर पर पीएम मोदी का हमेशा से ही पैरा खिलाड़ियों को विशेष आशीर्वाद मिला है। जो 84 सदस्यों का दल जा रहा है खिलाड़ियों का, उसमे 50 खिलाड़ी ऐसे हैं जो ओलंपिक के तहत तैयारी किए हैं। 16 खिलाड़ी ऐसे हैं जो पैरा इंडिया खेलो गेम्स हुए हैं, उनके पार्ट रहे हैं। बात रही पैरालंपिक कमेटी की तो हम क्या करते हैं जो खिलाड़ी जूनियर हैं उनको जो सीनियर खिलाड़ी हैं वे मदद करते हैं। हमारा हर एक खिलाड़ी पदक का दावेदार है किसी भी खिलाड़ी को ये नही कह सकते कि वह पदक नहीं जीत सकता। 200 देशों का कंपटीशन होता है जो चल गया वह गोल्ड मेडल जीतेगा लेकिन तैयारी के हिसाब से कर सकता हूं कि अबकी बार हमारे बहुत अच्छे मेडल आएंगे और गोल्ड मेडल की संख्या भी ज्यादा रहेगी।
