People on the street: Where are Mancunians favourite places to go on holiday?
Well we might be nearing the end of the summer but that is no reason to stop dreaming about holidays. With that in mind, we hit the streets on Manchester to ask people what their top three holiday locations are, and why.

00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World, my name is Theo Hewson-Betts and today I'm going
00:04out onto the streets of Manchester to ask people where their favourite holiday destinations
00:08are. It can be anywhere in the world, all we want to know is where they want to go and
00:12why.
00:13Lake District, Wales and maybe Tenerife at the end. Tenerife because it's sunny and I've
00:19been there since I was a kid. The lakes because I can walk my dogs. Wales because it's just
00:24beautiful.
00:26Yeah, Lake District, Cotswolds, I can't really think of a third but they're the top two I'd
00:33probably say. Just lots of places you can go and do lots of big dog walks.
00:36With Hecto it would be South Coast, quite formal in Devon. Abroad though, big fan of
00:41Italy, favourite place in the world. And a couple of places in the States, so New York
00:46and Florida, varied, very varied.
00:49Depends what I'm in the mood for, if I want a bit of culture I'll go to Italy, if I want
00:53something fun, Florida. If I'm in the mood for some shoots then it's New York, so it
00:58depends.
