00:02Donald Trump is speaking out after showing an AI-generated image of Taylor Swift falsely

00:07depicting her endorsing him.

00:09The former president and Republican nominee was asked about his controversial post in

00:12an interview on Fox Business Network on Wednesday.

00:15And he had this to say about the possibility of the pop star taking legal action.

00:19Are you worried that Taylor Swift is going to sue you?

00:21I don't know anything about them other than somebody else generated them.

00:25I didn't generate them.

00:26Somebody came out.

00:27They said, oh, look at this.

00:28These were all made up by other people.

00:30AI is always very dangerous in that way.

00:33Trump then said that he has been the subject of deepfakes.

00:35It's happening with me too.

00:37They're making, they're having me speak.

00:39I speak perfectly.

00:40I mean, absolutely perfectly on AI.

00:43And I'm like endorsing other products and things.

00:45It's a little bit dangerous out there.

00:47Trump's comments come days after he shared a post on his social media app Truth Social

00:51attaching screenshots from X, which depicted AI-generated Swifties for Trump photos alongside

00:56his caption, I accept.

00:59One of the images falsely depicts the pop star dressed as Uncle Sam with the text, Taylor

01:03wants you to vote for Donald Trump.

01:05Another image showed a fake headline that read, Swifties turning to Trump after ISIS

01:09foiled Taylor Swift concert, referring to the foiled terrorist plot, which targeted

01:13the singer's Erastor Vienna shows.

01:15While this image had the label satire over the fake headline, the other screenshots Trump

01:19shared did not.

01:21According to NBC News, at least 15 of the representations of people shown were created

01:25using AI.

01:26Only two featured a real woman.

01:28Taylor has not endorsed any candidate yet for president in the 2024 election cycle.

01:33In 2020, she endorsed Joe Biden.

01:35She did not endorse a candidate in the 2016 presidential election between Trump and Hillary

01:39Clinton, but expressed her regret for not having done so in her documentary Miss Americana.

01:44A scene in the doc showed her wanting to endorse Democrat Phil Bredesen for Senate in Tennessee

01:48in 2018.

01:49And when told it might make people think she was condemning Trump, she said, I don't care

01:54if they write that.

01:55I'm sad that I didn't two years ago, but I can't change that.
