00:00I was at one of P. Diddy's freak-offs.
00:04You saw celebrities there that you recognized.
00:07It was a rapper that we all know.
00:10Straight-up porn directed by Diddy.
00:13We're just grateful to have made it out.
00:17I think one of the things that also happens with celebrities and things, and it happens with, you know, what is it, like, familiarity breeds contempt.
00:23So the more we see about people's lives online and social media, you realize, and you know this when you know people who are famous and or big politicians or whatever it happens to be, they're just people.
00:35They're flawed people, and they're not on that pedestal so much because you learn so much about them.
00:42Well, nobody really should be on a pedestal.
00:44Ideals and things should be on a pedestal.
00:47And so I think that the social media has played a big part in breaking down, you know, who, like, listen, if Denzel Washington supports a candidate with his values that I know him personally, I'm going to listen very hard.
01:00If Megan Thee Stallion or Cardi B is telling me who to vote for, I, you know, probably not.
01:07And so I think that factors in as well.
01:10I think Kid Rock did a great job with that video.
01:12I am familiar with that.
01:14And obviously Kid Rock is a persona, and it's what he does on stage.
01:18And then, you know, as himself, as Bob Ritchie, saying, look, yeah, we should come together.
01:24That's a great message, all the way through 100%.
01:27And he's one of the few people you've seen say that.
01:29I mean, I always say, you know, it looks and I may disagree with you politically, but I'll still work with you.
01:34I mean, as long as you don't go to the far end and go, you know, you're a Nazi, you're a homophobe, you're an Islamophobe, you're a transphobe, all of, you know, white supremacists.
01:44I mean, my given name is Tanaka.
01:46I'm sorry, I'm just not a white supremacist.
01:48You know, never been the case.
01:50If you look at my friends, it's the UN, my best friends, you know, Iranian, black, Mexican, Spanish, Indian, you name it.
02:00I don't care.
02:01I judge based on a person's character, the quality of their character, not the content of their character, not the color of their skin or their religion or anything of that nature.
02:10And I think that Kid Rock did a nice job of summing that up.
02:14And look, we have political differences, which get, you know, the loudest voices are the ones that are the most extreme.
02:20So you get that extreme thing and everybody reacts to it.
02:22And those voices shouldn't be amplified.
02:24Voices that are down the center of them, you know, in the middle that are that are trying to find common ground.
02:29Those voices should be amplified, in my personal opinion.
02:32But, you know, we live in a time where sensationalism is a big deal.
02:35It always has been, I guess, with mass media.
02:38And so people want to make outlandish statements because it gets press and headlines.
