00:00Katie Daly-McLean, thank you for speaking to the Sunderland Echo, a big figure in rugby
00:05and also an alumni of the University of Sunderland. So what's it going to be like here on the
00:10big day, the opener?
00:12Look, it doesn't get any bigger than that. I think, you know, when you look at big games
00:15of World Cup, World Cups, you get World Cup Finals and then you get your opening game.
00:18The fact that we're going to have Red Roses here at the Stadium of Light is going to be
00:22absolutely fantastic. And one thing that I know for certain is the crowd, the region
00:26are going to massively embrace it. So I think it's going to be noisy, it's going to be busy
00:30and it's going to be full of the most wonderful atmosphere.
00:33You sound very excited.
00:35I really am. Do you know what it is? We chatted about the fact that we're one year out. I
00:38would have loved to have played in a game like this, you know, beat a girl from the
00:42North East, playing at a stadium like this. I used to come and watch Sunderland Football
00:46Club play with my dad when I was little. So the fact we've got a rugby game here, it's
00:50the Red Roses and it's in a Home World Cup, it doesn't get any better for me. My two loves.
