00:00So how do you see, recently there have been a lot of gunfire in Malaysia, how do you see it?
00:07Okay, let me put it this way, public security and military is a real duty that we give top priority
00:17because public security that is felt by the majority of the people is very dependent on the competence of the police force
00:29So when it comes to the crime of violence, I can repeat that the competence of the police force is at the highest level
00:44through the investigation process and then ending with action
00:50Either when dealing with the issue of kidnapping of Chinese citizens, they can solve it by identifying the suspect
00:58Either the kidnapping of children from Johor that was found in Gula Selangor
01:04or the missing former UPSI students that we found
01:09or the missing teacher from Kamah, my condolences to the family that was reported missing
01:16and then we were affected
01:18up to the incident of violence where the police force made a complete profiling
01:25involving a group of foreigners
01:28who entered not for work, but to commit a crime
01:36and the crime is a sadistic crime, a crime of violence, a crime of the use of weapons without mercy
01:45So because of that, my condolences to the police leadership
01:49be it the discussion between the IGP or Datuk Seri Timbalan
01:56or my sessions with Datuk Suhaily, the CID director who holds a very heavy duty
02:03So we give assurance to the people that thanks to the media for reporting and covering up
02:10so the people know that it will not be taken away
02:13so the people can feel that the state of safety is guaranteed
02:18especially about the incident in Subang Jaya
02:21Datuk Seri, please
02:25If there is anything else
02:26If there is anything else
02:27I think that all of you have covered everything that has been said
02:32about the actions and efforts carried out by PDRM
02:37and the session that the minister mentioned earlier
02:42is to plan the way forward as far as PDRM is concerned
02:48as the main authority agency in the country
02:52So regarding the case, I think everything is clear
02:56Regarding the loss, the number of cases that have been collected since 2018
03:04the presence of suspects in the country since 2017
03:10his presence here according to the passport records that we have
03:17he has never been out
03:19so he has been in the country
03:21maybe he went out through the door of Jalan Tikus, we don't know
03:24So that's what I can share for now
03:27because the investigation is still ongoing
03:29even though our actions are maximum
03:34the investigation process will continue in the context of our actions
03:38by the coroner, that is the inquiry
03:41will be carried out
03:42all actions that end with the loss of life
03:46will go through the trial process
03:50that is through the coroner and the inquiry
03:55We are still investigating this case
04:00and the arrest should have led to a deeper investigation
04:08regarding the group's history
04:10but with such actions
04:12we have to go back to where we were
04:16back to the investigation and investigation
04:19I have another question
04:21regarding the public area
04:25I said that the police are competent and professional
04:30even though the shooting incident happened in an open area
04:35but there are no casualties among the public
04:41because all aspects
04:43if they want to corner the suspect
04:46they know which area and which corner
04:49before the action is taken
04:51this is not a simple action
04:53so in an operation like that
04:55the safety of life is on the part of the police
04:59then we give consideration to the safety of the public
05:03then we execute the plan
05:06there are also those who raise the issue
05:09causing panic and fear among the public
05:12so we have to pay attention
05:14in an operation of this scale
05:17with such risks
05:19we have to give confidence to the police
05:22who are specially trained for this
05:24so the critical moment before they make a decision
05:28is a moment that does not allow an error to occur
05:33it has to be precise and zero error
05:37that is why we see
05:39in the action that was taken
05:42we see that there are no casualties among the public
05:46so that the public continues to give confidence and support
05:50the most important thing is
05:52the effort of the police to investigate a crime like this
05:56okay?
05:57thank you very much
06:07Thank you for watching
