00:00The pressure's been constant, can I say, for the entire period of time and you don't enter
00:06into these roles lightly. Of course it's difficult to know the pressure that you're going to
00:10experience until you're in it, but I have to say the pressure's been constant. There
00:14hasn't been one particular thing that's happened to me over this period of time. I think that
00:21these roles are quite demanding. You throw everything at it. And if I look at the ABC
00:27at the moment, the ABC is in very good shape. I've really enjoyed defending public interest
00:33journalism, our journalists, our commitment to telling Australian stories, our commitment
00:38across regional and remote Australia and increasing our numbers there. For everything that we've
00:42done over those six years, I'm quite proud of what the ABC's achieved in that time. And
00:47looking ahead, I just feel it's the right time for renewal and I think it's the right
00:51time for me.
