00:00The Hungry Mouse
00:15There lived a little mouse named Munchy.
00:19Munchy was always hungry, and his love for food was greater than anything else.
00:27He was a clever mouse, always looking for ways to find more food.
00:33One day, while wandering through the fields near the village, Munchy caught a whiff of something delicious.
00:42His little nose twitched with excitement as he followed the smell, which led him to a large basket filled with corn.
00:51The basket was inside a small storeroom that belonged to the village farmer.
00:58Munchy's eyes sparkled with joy.
01:02Look at all this food!
01:05I'll never be hungry again, he exclaimed as he quickly squeezed through a small hole in the wall to get to the basket.
01:14Inside the storeroom, Munchy saw that the basket was filled to the brim with corn, enough to last him for days.
01:24Without wasting a moment, he jumped right in and began to eat.
01:30He ate and ate, filling his tiny belly until he could barely move.
01:36As the sun began to set, Munchy realized that it was time to leave and return to his little home.
01:45But when he tried to climb out of the basket, he found that he was too full to squeeze back through the hole.
01:53He was stuck.
01:56Oh no, Munchy thought, what have I done?
02:01I was so greedy that I didn't think about how I would get out.
02:06Munchy tried to push and pull, but he couldn't fit through the hole anymore.
02:13He began to worry.
02:16What if the farmer finds me here?
02:19I could be in big trouble.
02:22As the night grew darker, Munchy heard footsteps approaching the storeroom.
02:29His heart raced with fear.
02:31He knew he had to find a way out, but he was too full to move quickly.
02:38Just then, Munchy's friend, a little sparrow named Chirpy, flew by the storeroom window.
02:47Chirpy noticed Munchy's dilemma and chirped, Munchy, what are you doing in there?
02:54You look like you've eaten too much.
02:58Munchy nodded sadly, I did, Chirpy.
03:03I was so hungry that I ate too much, and now I'm stuck.
03:09Can you help me?
03:12Chirpy thought for a moment and then said, the only way you'll get out is if you wait until you've digested some of that food.
03:22You need to be patient and not eat so much at once next time.
03:28Munchy sighed, realizing that Chirpy was right.
03:33He decided to wait, even though he was scared of being caught by the farmer.
03:40The night was long, and Munchy had plenty of time to think about how his greed had gotten him into trouble.
03:49By morning, Munchy's belly had shrunk a little, and he was finally able to squeeze out of the basket and through the hole in the wall.
03:59He was free.
04:02Munchy thanked Chirpy for the wise advice and promised himself that he would never be so greedy again.
04:10From that day on, Munchy learned to eat just enough to satisfy his hunger and not a bite more.
04:19Greed can lead to trouble.
04:22It's important to practice self-control and moderation, as being overly indulgent can cause problems that are difficult to escape.
04:32The story teaches us that it's wise to be mindful of our actions, especially when it comes to fulfilling our desires.
04:42Overindulgence, whether in food or anything else, can trap us in situations we didn't anticipate.
