Belmonte, BAI exec bare measures against spread of ASF

00:00The ASFs in Quezon Province and Batangas are high in numbers and it is spreading to Bulacan, Meruna, and other parts of Calaurso.
00:12So to help the Department of Agriculture slash Bureau of Animal Industry to stop the spread of ASFs, we set up checkpoints.
00:23We set up checkpoints in the local government of the Department of Agriculture and the PNP in the main streets of Quezon City.
00:31In Pearl Drive, in Commonwealth Avenue, in Taining Road, in Balintawa, in Pindanao Avenue, Bandang Sora Avenue area, and in Paang Bundo, in INS Amaranto.
00:42So we set up four checkpoints.
00:45At the checkpoints, we check if they have a complete certificate and permit to prove that their shipments are ASF-free.
00:54I just would like to emphasize, there is no seal to regulate.
00:58Kaya sapagkat galing ako sa PTI ng 44 years, hindi mo pwedeng ito ang nadagawin natin mawawalan ba ang ASF.
01:09Kaya tatlong bagay ang ginagawa ngayon ng Department of Agriculture at the NMIS.
01:16May bulis na kami, may lugar pa kami, may tarakal pa kami, so kongreto tayo.
01:24So number 1 checkpoint. And right now we have around 12 checkpoints all over.
01:31Dito sa NCR, sa Region 3, Region 4, 8. So first move, checkpoint, para huwag bumala ng sakit.
01:41Number 2, itinaas ni Secretary Lauren, Sur Lauren, ang identification para huwag mag-pass break ang mga may sakit na baboy.
01:54At mula 5,000 to 8,000, kapag inahin 12,000. And third, yung makuna.
