00:00My mother is the only person in the whole world who thinks Kamala is the lucky one for
00:10marrying me.
00:16And to Kamala who, well, we just saw where she is, she's out on the trail listening to
00:21and talking with voters.
00:24Honey, I can't wait for you to come back to Chicago because we're having a great time
00:29here.
00:35I love you so much.
00:38I'm so proud of how you're stepping up for all of us.
00:43But that's who she is.
00:45Wherever she's needed, however she's needed, Kamala rises to the occasion.
00:51And she did it for me and our family.
00:54And now that the country needs her, she's showing you what we already know.
01:00She's ready to lead.
01:05She finds joy in pursuing justice.
01:09She stands up to bullies just like my parents taught me to.
01:13And she likes to see people do well, but hates when they're treated unfairly.
01:19She believes this work requires a basic curiosity in just how people are doing.
01:24Her empathy is her strength.
01:29Kamala has fought against anti-Semitism in all forms of hate her whole career.
01:36She's the one who encouraged me as second gentleman to take up that fight, which is
01:41so personal to me.
01:43A few days ago, during this incredible time we're going through, there was a brief window
01:49when Kamala was back at home.
01:52And I saw her sitting on her favorite chair, and in the middle of a wild month, I just
01:56hoped that she was having a quiet moment to herself.
02:01But then I realized she was on the phone.
02:03And of course, my mind went to all the potential crises that the vice president could be dealing
02:08with.
02:09Was it domestic?
02:10Was it foreign?
02:12Was it campaign?
02:14I could see she was focused.
02:15And all I knew was that it must be something important.
02:20And it turns out it was.
02:22Ella had called her.
02:25That's Kamala.
02:28That's Kamala.
02:31Those kids are her priorities.
02:33And that scene was a perfect map of her heart.
02:38She's always been there for our children, and I know she'll always be there for yours
02:43too.
02:48Kamala is a joyful warrior.
02:52It's doing for her country what she has always done for the people that she loves.
02:57Her passion will benefit all of us when she's our president.
03:05And she knows the best way to deal with a coward is to take him head on.
03:09Because we all know cowards are weak, and Kamala Harris can smell weakness.
03:16She doesn't tolerate any BS.
03:18You've all seen that look, and you know that look I'm talking about.
03:23That look is not just a meme, it reflects her true belief in honest and direct leadership.
03:29And it's also why she will not be distracted by nonsense.
03:34Kamala knows that in order to win, we cannot lose focus.
03:39America, in this election, you have to decide who to trust with your family's future.
03:45I trusted Kamala with our family's future.
03:48It was the best decision I ever made.
03:51This Thursday will be our 10th wedding anniversary, which I know, I know it means I'm about to
04:00hear that embarrassing voicemail again, however, that's not all I'll be hearing.
04:07That same night, I'll be hearing my wife, Kamala Harris, accept your nomination for
04:13President of the United States.
