00:00Today, I would like to report that the construction of the ATIAS Link project is now on schedule and will operate on January 1, 2027 as scheduled.
00:12The construction of the ATIAS Link project has reached 83% by the end of July 2024.
00:22This is the progress of the infrastructure, it has not yet entered the system.
00:27Access to the control of the ATIAS Link operation, i.e. the Sundarabahat ATIAS Operation System, for the installation of the system is expected to be implemented at the end of this year.
00:37The preparation of the infrastructure will also allow the ATIAS to start the installation of the system, which includes track work, rolling stock, signaling system and power supply, and distribution.
00:50Meanwhile, the construction of the CIQ Complex Immigration, Customs and Quarantine in Bukit Jaga is also running as scheduled.
00:58The construction of the construction substructure has been completed and construction work is being carried out.
01:04Access to the agencies that will operate in the CIQ for the installation of equipment and systems is expected to be started in August 2025.
01:13The government also took note of the difficulties in the city traffic of New Johor, which is now increasing and affecting the daily lives of local communities.
01:21The Ministry of Transport is studying the traffic control plan for the Malaysian Iskandar region.
01:27This is not only dealing with the high number of passengers, but also increasing economic growth and the development of the special economic zone of Johor-Singapore.
01:38This initiative includes the development of land transport, which will be improved, allowing the connection directly to the CIQ Complex in Bukit Jaga and also the International Ibrahim Business District.
01:48The road choice for vehicles to enter the CIQ Complex is through Tun Abdul Razak Road, Teberau Road, and also from the direction of Cimkui Road and Tunku Aziza Road.
02:01To address this difficult issue, the government prioritizes investment of more than RM200 million in public transport infrastructure around Bukit Jaga,
02:10which not only can meet the current demand, but also take into account the future development.
02:17Taking into account the increase in the number of passengers per day of the RTS Link Club, the ease of public support must also be improved, such as the ease of placing enough vehicles.
02:29The MRT Corp will build a new park-and-ride facility in Bukit Jaga to accommodate 1,500 vehicles.
02:40And today, I am also very pleased to see a purchase agreement between MRT Corp and Coronet Properties in Meterai.
02:52According to the agreement, Coronet Properties will provide 781 units of parking spaces and motorcycles,
03:00specifically for RTS Link passengers in Coronation Square, which is located 400 meters from Bukit Jaga Station.
03:08This is an important step in improving the transportation infrastructure, ensuring the availability of parking spaces for RTS Link passengers.
03:18A pedestrian crossing that connects Coronation Square to the CIQ complex will also be built by Coronet Properties,
03:26so that this facility can be enjoyed by RTS Link users.
03:31All facilities built to complete the RTS Link service infrastructure will be designed with care,
03:37to ensure that passengers can enjoy a smooth journey from Malaysia to Singapore or vice versa.
03:44Here, I would like to emphasize the commitment and efforts of the government in building infrastructure for the convenience of the public in Johor Bahru.
03:52And I would like to congratulate MRT Corp and Coronet Properties for successfully carrying out this cooperation
04:01in order to ensure the success of the RTS Link project.
