Two boys aged 10 and 11 who were thought to be missing were actually trapped in a lift in Desa Petaling for nine hours on Monday (Aug 19).

00:07According to the ten-year-old's aunt, the boy had left his home at the Desa Petaling
00:12Flats at 2 p.m. to buy buns and meet his friend living in the nearby Pangsaria Apartments.
00:19However, she said he had not returned home by 10 p.m. and the family searched nearby
00:24and everyone was worried.
00:26The woman, who only wished to be known as Ina, said both boys were finally found at
00:31about 1 a.m. on Tuesday.
00:33She said the doors of the lift finally opened by themselves and the boys got out in a state
00:38of exhaustion and hunger.
00:40Cheras District Police Chief ACP Ravindar Singh Sarban Singh confirmed the incident
00:46and that police also received two reports on the incidents.
