00:00Good morning to all of us. This is the latest weather update for Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

00:07Let's start with our latest satellite image.

00:10Currently, we are being watched by a low-pressure area that was entered by the Philippine Air

00:15Responsibility at 8 p.m. last night.

00:17Although we can see that it is far from our country.

00:20As of 3 a.m., it was last seen at a distance of 1,030 kilometers east-northeast of the extreme northern zone.

00:27And as we can see in the satellite image, the clouds that brought this low-pressure area are not good.

00:32So, the chance that this will be a typhoon is low.

00:36And it is far from our country, so we do not expect a direct effect on any part of our continent.

00:42Meanwhile, what is still affecting other parts of our country is the southwest monsoon or hanging habagat

00:50that is affecting the northern zone, particularly the extreme northern zone area.

00:55Although if we can see here in the satellite image, we can see some clouds,

00:59but most likely, these clouds will not last long.

01:02So, most likely, when the afternoon comes, the weather will be clear.

01:06And when the afternoon or night comes, there are chances of localized thunderstorms.

02:37We also expect maximum temperatures here in Togigaraw.

02:42For Legazpi, it is possible to reach 34 degrees Celsius.

02:45And for Tagaytay, the temperature range will range from 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.

03:39For Cagayan de Oro, it will reach 34 degrees Celsius for Metro Davao.

03:44And maximum temperatures for Zamboanga will reach 33 degrees Celsius.

03:50As for the condition of our oceans,
