00:00Welcome back to another Minetest Mod Review. Today we are looking at the, I don't know how I'm supposed to pronounce the name of this, I'm guessing it's TMTrainer, but maybe it's supposed to be TMTrainer, I don't know.
00:16It turns your Minetest worlds into a fever dream, honestly. We're gonna call this a fever dream, because I don't know what else to call it.
00:29So the world is still completely playable, yeah, it just, everything is completely borked. So let's make our way over to what I know are Acacia Trees out here, and I kind of only know they're Acacia Trees because of the Acacia Tree look to them.
00:55But we will notice some very interesting textures on the tree trunks and the leaves, so let's check this out here. Can I jump up high enough? Okay, here we go.
01:09So the tree leaves, yeah, they break like leaves, exactly as one would expect. I'm not sure if I have picked up a leaf in my hand or if I have a sapling here. I'm guessing it's a sapling, because the leaf should be a normal box like that.
01:33So there's that. I have a hunch I'm playing in creative. Well, that's a bit unfortunate. Let me turn creative off, whoops. Alright, this is more like it.
01:52Oh, oh, um, hello, excuse me, what? I thought this was supposed to stay the same between restarts. I guess it does not, which makes things all the more interesting.
02:11So these are the leaves now with a brick texture. And then the tree trunk is, is whatever this is, which honestly, I have no idea what this is. All of the textures are theoretically derived from existing textures.
02:31And they just get all kinds of crazy filters applied to them. So like, for example, the leaves are a normal brick texture, save for the one set of one set of pixels, the row of pixels here, the column, I guess, technically, although here would be a row.
02:57So pick your poison, which you want to call it. And that looks like that is from a fence post, maybe. So yeah, and then I am really confused as to what this texture is pulled from.
03:15Because that really doesn't look like anything. Now, we can go to our crafting interface here. And we can see that the textures are robbed. Or not. Well, the textures are jacked up, but the descriptions are too.
03:33So we have, um, st five ailner. I think that's a pound sign, right? Then a shorie? I don't know. cocai. Oh, book, silver sand. Oh, old blown a dab fence. No. A Lynn wing rev fence guy.
03:58W and I don't know what that sign is. Is that actually the pound sign? Maybe the other one wasn't the pound sign. Whoo. CK staff. Pisa Vanna. Okay, cool. Um, this is our acacia tree leaves, which are I yet mob.
04:20A fence door. I rule. Yes, yes. Very, very good. So this was the tree trunks. So these are our sticks. So let's grab eight sticks. And we're gonna need three of these because we want to make an ax. Oh, wait, does this? Oh, no, I'm sorry. Okay, so these are the tree trunks. So this is acacia wood. So we need to turn this into the sticks.
04:47So now I have four sticks. So now I can use my wood and my sticks to make an ax. So um, yeah, this is an ax. Let's see how much faster we can cut these tree pieces with. Does that seem any faster than punching by hand? You know, honestly, I've seen these. I am not sure.
05:11It is definitely a tool though. Oh, nice sun texture. It's like orange wool. It definitely is a tool because it has a wear bar. Here we have a nice hole into the ground. But before we do that, I don't know why I said before, because we're not even going to do we have any place where we can see into the ground?
05:32Previously, on wild fever dreams and mind test, we had ground that was all here we go. Look at this. What a beautiful, beautiful thing it is. You know what, that just gave me a brilliant idea. I can actually x ray into the ground anywhere I feel like simply by placing some acacia wood on the ground. So yeah, we're gonna we're gonna grab these because I might want slash need them later.
05:58And now this is leading me to believe that this is probably dirt here. Oh, and then well, now I'm confused. I was gonna say that must be stone. But I shouldn't be able to break stone by hand. So I have a feeling that's not stone. It could still just be dirt.
06:24Oh, wait. Okay, I can't break that by hand. But I can break this by hand. So potentially sandstone sandstone breakable by hand. I'm not even sure. Honestly, we got something here that kind of looks like a torch flipped upside down with the colors screwed up.
06:44But I don't think that was a torch. That's a little rock pile. This is the same world that I used when I did a mod review on the rock piles mod sometime back. Ooh, what is this off in the distance? Check this out. I'm assuming this is water.
07:02But yeah, wow. That's kind of wild. Definitely water because it's waving.
07:11But look at this green stuff. What is this? Oh, it's a it's like the dirt overly with the bits transparent so I can see to the ground underneath. This is wild stuff, man. I got some more acacia trees. These plants are just all absolute.
07:35It's just a mess. Oh, is that is that evergreen? Or is that no, that's not every that's a jungle. That's totally a jungle. Okay, well, um, yeah, so I don't know what exactly we're trying to do here.
07:56Um, yeah, we can look at Oh, wait, what? We can look at the recipes. And again, everything, the names are just completely screwy. But we can see things that are fuels. So that could maybe be helpful, I suppose, if we were to try to make a furnace.
08:26Which we could learn what a furnace is. Oh, look at that. Um, but that's definitely not actually a pickaxe because it's two sticks. And any kind of stone blocks. This is actually a shovel. So the pickaxe is actually a shovel. Oh, look at this cool thing. It's a stone texture with a bit of a frame. It's actually a fuel though. And it's made with two slabs.
08:52Or four steps. Or I don't know what a fuel that makes a fuel. It's a one to one conversion. Or a fuel that makes four fuels. I honestly don't know what that would be. I was gonna say coal would make four coal lumps, but I think that's actually nine coal lumps.
09:20And this appears to be a single making a single. But then you can reverse it and take I don't know. I am confused. But oh, hey, I bet these actually aren't fences, though. Oh, wait, no, actually, these are actual fences.
09:36I am. I am very surprised. The fence is actually still a fence. I don't know if it would stay the same into. Well, that's different. So it's the same next time the world's restarted.
09:51So per the mods description, it says here, despite its glitzy glitchy nature, it is made to be stable and consistent and uses a seated random number generator and sort its iteration such that it will always produce the same glitches as long as the installed mods and settings are kept the same.
10:10But. Oh, that's different. But that appears to not actually be the case, because if we exit. Oh, you know, I did turn creative off. So I bet that's what made the difference, because now it's staying the same. So let's try this once more.
10:28Okay, I need to eat my words. Changing creative or survival does in fact actually affect things. So as long as you don't switch that around and you don't add or remove any mods, it looks like it actually does stay the same. So theoretically, if you for some reason wanted to and not for the life of me, I don't know why you would want to.
10:53Is it called set time? Yeah. You could learn what all of the crazy new nodes are. And I mean, you could theoretically play in this in this fever dream that we call line test. Yeah.
11:17It's some wild stuff. So here we have I really feel like these are jungle trees. You know, because that doesn't really look like a pine. Oh, hello. Is that a pine? No, I think I think these are jungle trees.
11:43Which would mean we're in a jungle, duh. This would be jungle grass, most likely. It does throw up a lot of errors, but you can just make those go away by hiding chat. And then this would be our jungle tree wood. And these of course would be jungle tree leaves. That must be another piece of jungle tree wood. I don't know. Am I even using my axe? I am using my axe. Okay.
12:13So we can see through the ground, which can be helpful ish. Because we could find where caves are underground, which might be a useful thing. But then again, it might not. Because it's probably easier to fall into a hole in the ground when you don't realize it's a hole in the ground because you just think it's the texture making it appear like there's a hole.
12:44Let's go into the hole. Oh, it's not a very deep hole. That's unfortunate.
12:48But it looks like it still does get dark down underground. So yeah, I'm assuming that the the nodes, although they become transparent, are still blocking the light, which I guess makes sense because it's only the texture and not a sunlight propagates equals true in the node definition, I'm assuming.
13:16Don't quote me on that. I could be entirely wrong. This, my friends, looks like a bush. And now we can see if this is a blueberry bush. And it's not because it would change its texture probably drastically if we punched it because we'd be harvesting the blueberries.
13:33So we know that the the acacia tree sapling is in fact actually bush leaves. What this knowledge does is for us, I don't really know. I am very curious as to where this red arrow is coming from. Because I can't think of anything in my test game that provides.
13:56Oh, wait, you know what, isn't there an arrow in the is there not an arrow like this in the furnace? I don't believe so.
14:07All right, well, um, I don't really know what else there is to do or say. We have some more water up ahead. We have some more wild.
14:17Okay, can I actually? Oh, no, that's the ground below the water, not water deep. Okay, well, there you go. If you want to if you want to experience the wild and wacky world of this, install this mod. Now don't worry.
14:39If we disable the mod, whoops, if we disable the mod, everything should go back to normal.
14:47A everything went back to normal. Hey, what do you know? I in fact was correct. I did have an axe that I crafted.
14:55I'm not sure what the Oh, I was digging gravel. Okay, that kind of makes sense.
15:05Keisha Keisha bush leaves. Okay, yep. And those are the ones that look like the Acacia tree sapling. Okay, okay.
15:15Yeah, so I kind of figured out what one or two things were. Oh, that was bamboo. Okay. Yeah. So if you if you get sick and tired of living in the fever dream, you can just disable the mod and everything goes back to perfectly normal.
15:31Yeah. So if you if you get sick and tired of living in the fever dream, you can just disable the mod and everything goes back to perfectly normal. And you can have your nice little world back.
15:45Kind of would be a fun April Fool's joke, though, not gonna lie. Like if you got a server, throw that mod on the server for a couple days in April, people would be tripping out. They'd be like, What is this? Am I am I high? And am I on drugs? What am I seeing? What has happened to the server?
16:06And then you disable it and everything goes back to perfectly normal. You know, people might get a laugh out of it. Also, they might get extremely irritated. So, you know, proceed with caution and at your own risk.
16:20But there you go. The the TMT rain TM trainer. I don't know what you're supposed to call this mod. Yeah. Again, if you want to try it out, you can find in the content database. Just go ahead and search in the in game content browser. Or of course you can download it and install manually. As is always an option. Thanks for watching and I will see you next time.
