00:00I'll start with a simple, straight, innocent question.
00:04If what Mr. Khan is saying comes true, you'll be surprised.
00:07It won't be surprising for you
00:09that General Retired Faiz Ameed will become a promising witness against Mr. Imran Khan.
00:13Do you think this will happen?
00:17Look, I won't be very surprised.
00:21The reason for this is that in Pakistan,
00:25we have a lot of great politicians
00:29whom people love and respect.
00:35This has happened to them before.
00:37For example, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto
00:40had formed a Federal Security Force, FSF.
00:44Masood Mehmood was in charge of it.
00:47Masood Mehmood was a very experienced police officer
00:51and a very cruel man.
00:53Mr. Bhutto used to beat him up a lot.
00:57So, in the case in which Mr. Bhutto was hanged,
01:00Masood Mehmood became the promising witness.
01:04But keep in mind that
01:06when the Supreme Court rejected that decision,
01:09after many years,
01:11the status of a promising witness has become doubtful.
01:14But my personal experience with Mr. Faiz
01:19is that he was a king of falsehood.
01:26Lying and being under someone's pressure
01:32was a game of his left hand.
01:36This is how he got all the promotions.
01:38He became DG ISI and then he wanted to become Army Chief.
01:42When Mr. Imran Khan was Prime Minister,
01:46Mr. Badami, from that time,
01:48I came to know that
01:52he used to meet the leaders of People's Party and Muslim League Noon
01:56and used to speak against Imran Khan.
02:01He used to say,
02:02you think that I am very close to Imran Khan,
02:04but I am very distant from him.
02:06And there are many witnesses to this.
02:08So, when Imran Khan was Prime Minister,
02:10even then, I don't know why,
02:12Mr. Faiz used to speak against Imran Khan.
02:17And on the other hand,
02:19Imran Khan used to think that he is very close to him.
02:21So, I won't be surprised if
02:23Mr. Faiz becomes a promising witness against Imran Khan.
02:27But,
02:28becoming a promising witness against Imran Khan
02:32will be a very surprising thing.
02:34Because, Mr. Faiz didn't do anything big on behalf of Imran Khan.
02:40He did most of the wrong things on behalf of General Bajwa.
02:44So, I think,
02:45if he remains silent against General Bajwa
02:49and becomes a promising witness against Imran Khan,
02:52then whatever happens,
02:55it will be a charge sheet against General Faiz.
02:58Please make it easy for our viewers.
03:01Because, this is a very serious issue.
03:04And if this happens,
03:05it will determine the future politics of Pakistan.
03:09So, what is a promising witness?
03:11The one who confesses his crimes,
03:13believes that he was a part of it,
03:15but he did it on behalf of Imran Khan.
03:17So, what is it?
03:18Please explain it in simple words.
03:21I gave you the example of Masood Mehmood.
03:24Masood Mehmood was not the only promising witness.
03:27There were two or three more.
03:29So, Masood Mehmood gave a statement
03:32that he was not ordered to kill Ahmad Reza Qasuri's father,
03:37Nawab Muhammad Ahmad Khan.
03:40He was ordered to kill Ahmad Reza Qasuri.
03:46I assigned some FSF officers.
03:51And when they were firing at Ahmad Reza Qasuri
03:54in Shahdaman Chowk, Lahore,
03:56Ahmad Reza Qasuri was driving a car.
03:59He was sitting in the next seat.
04:01Nawab Muhammad Ahmad Khan was shot.
04:03And he was killed.
04:05And I did all this on the orders of
04:07the then Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
04:10Yes.
04:11I did it on the orders of Bhutto.
04:13Now, I don't understand...
04:15So, did Masood Mehmood lose his own life
04:17in giving this statement?
04:19Yes.
04:20Masood Mehmood lost his life,
04:23but Pakistan was also freed from him.
04:26And he left Pakistan.
04:28And he never returned to Pakistan.
04:31And he died in America.
04:33So, is there a legal provision?
04:37Because Masood Mehmood in that particular case
04:39or Faiz Sahib in this case,
04:40he must be accepting his own crime, right?
04:42So, is there a legal provision
04:44for accepting one's own crime?
04:46Let me give you another example.
04:49Sometimes, some convicted criminals
04:54who are punished by the court,
04:56we have a provision in our constitution
04:58that the President of Pakistan has the right
05:00to forgive their punishment.
05:02When Imran Khan was the Prime Minister,
05:04there were some leaders of the Taliban movement
05:08in Pakistan,
05:10Muslim Khan and Mehmood Khan.
05:12So, General Faiz Sahib and General Bajwa Sahib
05:15were given death penalty
05:18and they were pardoned.
05:20And they did not act upon the punishment
05:22and then they were released.
05:24I don't know where it is kept.
05:26This provision is present in our constitution.
05:28The President has the right.
05:30But the concept of forgiveness
05:32I think it will be very difficult
05:34for General Faiz Sahib to become
05:36a promised witness.
05:38Because if he becomes a promised witness,
05:40then he will have to promise
05:42that if you put someone on Imran Khan,
05:44that I did this on Imran Khan's behest,
05:46I killed someone, I got someone killed.
05:48Then they will have to be released
05:50like Masood Mehmood.
05:52And I don't think it will be possible
05:54that someone will release General Faiz Sahib
05:56in this current situation.
05:58Because,
06:00Badami Sahib,
06:02the circle of Anjuman Mutasareen-e-Faiz
06:04is very wide.
06:06And if this government
06:08or anyone else
06:10releases General Faiz Sahib as a promised witness
06:12and traps Imran Khan,
06:14then many people are included
06:16in that Anjuman Mutasareen-e-Faiz.
06:18So, everyone has
06:20their own chart sheet.
06:22There are also names of those who have been
06:24exposed. The list of those who have been exposed
06:26is very long.
06:28Yes, it is very long.
06:30Look, it is such an interesting thing
06:32that the people against whom
06:34General Faiz Sahib made conspiracies,
06:36made false cases on them,
06:38made references,
06:40the current President of Pakistan
06:42the current Prime Minister Shabaz Sharif
06:44the current Chief Justice of Pakistan
06:46Qazi Fajisa,
06:48the current Army Chief General Asim Muneer,
06:50some Chief Ministers,
06:52and many other former members of the Supreme Court,
06:54some journalists,
06:56lawyers, traders,
06:58and there are some people
07:00who say that General Faiz
07:02has also made conspiracies at our house.
07:04So, where will these allegations go?
07:06That's why I think
07:08it is very difficult to fulfill the promise of General Faiz.
07:10One more name that is coming up,
07:12Mr. Mir tell us,
07:14the former Chief Justice of Pakistan,
07:16Mr. Saqib Nisar,
07:18I spoke to him a little while ago,
07:20he said,
07:22I went on 7th August,
07:24when Mr. Faiz's case did not come,
07:26I had already planned to leave Pakistan,
07:28I am here in London now,
07:30I will go ahead, then I will go here,
07:32I will come back on my appointed date,
07:34I have nothing to do with him,
07:36I have nothing to do with him,
