00:00Taylor, what was, can you talk a little about your audition process?

00:03Yeah, well, what Sarah failed to mention was that

00:05I had auditioned for her for probably the last seven years, nonstop.

00:11David never showed me your tapes.

00:14Ever, ever. He always said.

00:16No, I was going to step out of the room for a moment.

00:18Yeah, I'll be right back.

00:19You should definitely keep the cameras going.

00:23So finally, you know, I think when I had my first, my first call with Matthew,

00:30February, maybe sometime.

00:32And so it was like a five month process.

00:34And I want to say, May, I'm on the East Coast.

00:39And I'm at my cousin's wedding.

00:42And David Rappaport calls me.

00:44And he said, hey, Sarah Schechter wants you,

00:48wants to chat with you about this project.

00:50And I said, oh, I got auditioned for that so long ago.

00:52And like, I met with Matthew.

00:54And he's like, yeah, it's like, they're really going.

00:57They're trying to find their Alex.

00:58And they're like, they need to, they want to talk to you.

01:01I said, OK, so stepped out of my cousin's wedding.

01:04Like, I think I might have missed.

01:06I now pronounce you husband and wife because Matthew was in London.

01:10And I, you know, just the timing.

01:11I was like, you guys, I'm so sorry.

01:13So I had a great chat with Sarah.

01:15I had a great chat with Matthew.

01:16And then I flew back two days later.

01:19And and had the camera read with Nick on Zoom in my sister's apartment.

01:23I remember setting up my laptop on her kitchen island with like four books underneath it.

01:28And I was like, just be quiet.

01:29Just be quiet.

01:30And and then they said, hey, the next day, can you get to London?

01:36Like in four days?

01:37I think it was like three days.

01:38Like, can you get there?

01:39It was fast.

01:40It was very, very fast.

01:42We were trying to get you to London without you going back to L.A.

01:45But you were like, I need things.

01:47And I was like, I guess you did.

01:49And I brought three suitcases.

01:51And I'm glad I did.
