00:00Wait, I can't leave yet.
00:03Sorry, but last night's sex is just going to have to hold you.
00:05You're right. Anyway, listen.
00:08That was one of the partners in my firm, and he's having a little dinner party tonight for this new client, and we're invited!
00:14Us? Why?
00:15Because the client loves me!
00:17He's this big Japanese mucky-muck, and for the last couple weeks I've been showing him around and stuff.
00:21You know, I'm not just a secretary, I also schlep people.
00:25Here's the address, I'll meet you in the lobby at 8 o'clock, okay?
00:28Carrie, I can't!
00:29Why not?
00:30Hello, it's Thursday, double shift day!
00:32Doug, you know I'm trying to make paralegal this firm?
00:34This is a great chance for me to, you know, suck up!
00:37I don't know why you'd suck up, I just can't be there.
00:39Well, you could if you really wanted to.
00:40That's not true! I mean, I wouldn't be done working until 8 o'clock!
00:43Doug, two Thursdays ago you had a double shift, but you wanted to see that lady's kickboxing thing, remember?
00:48Somehow you made it home by 7.30 with a keg of beer and a three-foot sub.
00:54Yeah, that day everything went just right.
00:57Come on, Carrie, even if I could make it in time, you know I'm not good at those things.
01:00I'd spill something and some lady would say,
01:02Oh, who invited that man?
01:06Okay, shemp, you made your point.
01:08You don't have to go.
01:09Come on, why do you even need me there?
01:11I guess I don't need you there, I just would have liked it.
01:21Hey, me and Denali are gonna go eat, you wanna come?
01:23Nah, I'm skipping lunch.
01:24That's a good one, come on.
01:26I'm skipping lunch.
01:27Why, what's going on?
01:28It's a stupid dinner party Carrie really wanted me to go to tonight,
01:31so if I really hump it, I can get there in time and surprise her.
01:34Okay.
01:36What are you guys eating?
01:38Oh, that Philly cheesesteak place on Northern Boulevard.
01:41The cheesesteak place?
01:42Why don't you just stab me?
01:44So you coming?
