00:00Am I interrupting?
00:02No, Dad, no.
00:04Now, Douglas, uh,
00:06I'd like to talk to you about your Aunt Sheila.
00:08Look, Arthur, she's a nice lady.
00:10If she ate the last chicken wing or potato puff, I'm sorry.
00:12No, no.
00:14I found her quite enchanting.
00:16In fact, with your permission,
00:18I'd like to woo her.
00:22Woo her?
00:24I come to you since you are
00:26her closest living relative,
00:28other than her husband, that is.
00:30Well,
00:32Arthur, thanks for coming to me, but
00:34gotta give you a no on this one.
00:36You know, if you're looking to be set up,
00:38I'll certainly keep my eyes open for you.
00:42Um,
00:44Dad, just give me a second with him, okay?
00:48Ooh, cold pigs
00:50in blankets. Life is good again.
00:52Doug. Yeah?
00:54I know you're upset about your Aunt and Uncle,
00:56but it'd be so terrible if my father went out with her.
00:58No, no, no. Not gonna date Aunt Sheila. Sorry.
01:00No. Well, why not, honey?
01:02The man spends every night in our basement alone
01:04yelling at TV commercials.
01:06He just wants a little company, that's all.
01:08Well, fine. You know what? I don't want that company to be my aunt.
01:10Let him go out with your aunt.
01:12Okay, that would be his sister.
01:14She's a great icebreaker.
01:16Okay, I'm not trying to be a jerk about this.
01:18It's just that Hank and Sheila, they're still married.
01:20Yeah, but they're probably gonna get divorced.
01:22They are not getting a divorce, all right?
01:24Not very rarely, because they hate each other.
01:26Well, look at it this way.
01:28What better way to force a woman
01:30back to her husband than an evening out with my father?
01:32Huh?
01:34Well...
01:36Honey, come on. Just let him go out with her.
01:38Look. Ring.
01:40Come on.
01:42You know what? That weld has run real dry, all right?
01:44Go out with her, okay?
01:46Thank you, honey.
01:48Daddy?
01:50Yes?
01:52Well,
01:54I'm off to my date with Sheila.
01:56Daddy, you look so handsome,
01:58doesn't he, Doug?
02:00Yeah, he's a sweet piece of man candy.
02:02So where are you gonna take her?
02:04I guess that diner over on Continental Avenue.
02:06I'm a little short on the moolah this month.
02:12All right, look, Arthur, here you go, all right?
02:14No, no, I'll be fine.
02:16No, no, come on, here.
02:18Take her someplace nice, all right? You have lobster.
02:20Thanks, Douglas.
02:22Wish me luck.
02:24I'm a little nervous. I haven't had a date in quite a few years.
02:26Oh, Dad, just be yourself.
02:28It'll be fine. Just don't do that thing with your toes
02:30and don't show your hernia scar.
02:32You're tying my hands here,
02:34but okay.
02:38Dad, I'm making pancakes.
02:40You want any?
02:42Dad?
02:46Dad?
02:50Dad?
02:54There you are.
02:56Yes, there I am.
02:58So how'd your dad's date go, huh?
03:00Very well.
03:02Or not so well, depending on whether you're him
03:04or you.
03:06You know what, honey?
03:08You're late for work. The watch ring doesn't line.
03:10Let's go.
03:12Whoa, whoa, whoa. You know, my shift doesn't start till 9.
03:14Not till 9? Is that right? Maybe you want to go a little early
03:16and, you know, kiss up?
03:18Hi, Doug.
03:20Hello, sweetheart.
03:22Yes, this is a little awkward, isn't it?
03:24But what the hell? I need my coffee.
03:28Aunt Sheila? It's Aunt Sheila.
03:30Well, it looks like her, hon.
03:32Morning, kids. Morning, my sweet.
03:34Hello, my dear.
03:36Look, you've got to get going. I've got another one of Doug's aunts
03:38coming in right behind you.
03:40Oh, stop it. You're so terrible.
03:42But so, so cute.
03:45Well, thanks again
03:47for giving me that extra money.
03:49I think the lobster put me right over the top.
