US Open 2024 preview: Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz favourites to stop Novak Djokovic from claiming a fifth title in America

The final major on the tennis calendar is upon us as attention turns to the 144th edition of the US Open.
Questions are ringing around tennis fans whether Novak Djokovic can defend his title and be contested, by the likes of Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner.
