As predicted, the GC action ignited on the slopes of Col du Glandon and the race is now in pieces! Valentina Cavallar anticipated the attacks and is currently at the head of the race with Demi Vollering and Pauliena Rooijakkers, the trio leading the Maillot Jaune by 1 minute! Cavallar led them over the top of the HC climb and averaged 17.9km/h for the 19.7km ascent.
