The riders have crested the only 1st category climb of this year's race, Col de la Croix de la Serra. Puck Pieterse was the first across the line, averaging 21.1km/h on the 12km ascent and picking up 10 points at the top. It's currently close in the rankings for the mountain classification but there are plenty of opportunities remaining for riders with ambitions to take home the Polkadot Jersey.
