00:00:00This is my job. I'm just trying to work. I'm trying to make a living.
00:00:03I didn't get up yesterday to be attacked by a crazy person.
00:00:07Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the rudest,
00:00:11most entitled, and most belligerent people, aka Karens, who received karmic justice for their
00:00:19actions. We'll explore the inciting incidents and what cosmic consequences they received.
00:00:25He's been called a genius. He's been called an inspiration.
00:00:31But now, some are calling him a vile racist.
00:00:36Number 75. Slapstick Karen. Justice doesn't always involve the law.
00:00:42Sometimes, appropriate consequences occur outside the legal framework.
00:00:47In 2015, a Karen's incorrect takeout order did not make her a happy bunny.
00:00:52You did it right the first time. Customer is always right. That's how it works here.
00:00:58Apparently, she was livid her food contained green peppers instead of red,
00:01:02stating her kids wouldn't eat such colors.
00:01:06Who wants to bet Karen didn't let them know this beforehand?
00:01:09Anyway, Karen decided some racism was needed as she scolded the staff for speaking another language.
00:01:16Talking about whatever it is you're talking about and whatever language it is that you're
00:01:20speaking, okay? This is America. The nice employees offered to make it again,
00:01:25but it would take 15 minutes. Naturally, Karen couldn't wait and so she stormed out while
00:01:31yelling. But then karma came into play as she walked right into the glass door. Delightful.
00:01:37Number 74. Hammer of Justice. Things are about to get ugly at this
00:01:42drive-thru coffee stand. As the old expression goes,
00:01:46play stupid games, win stupid prizes. In 2024, the owner and barista of the Taste of Heaven
00:01:54Espresso Bikini Coffee Stand in Seattle, Washington, Emma Lee, was in for a dramatic shift.
00:02:01A regular customer arrived at the drive-thru, got his order, and then kicked off upon being
00:02:06charged more than usual. After making threats, he eventually got his order from Lee. Then he
00:02:13threw the water and the coffee at the serving window. First the customer throws the water,
00:02:18then the coffee. But the barista isn't taking it lying down. In a flash, Lee popped out again,
00:02:26armed with a hammer, and smashed his windshield. Not only does the tantrum man have to fix his car,
00:02:33but he's also been banned from Lee's establishment. And she filed assault charges against
00:02:38him. I was trying to de-escalate as much as I felt was appropriate for the situation.
00:02:43Number 73. Farmer Karen. The woman who runs the farmer's market says that this matter
00:02:49is just a misunderstanding. In June 2020, Dan Floyd wanted to
00:02:54celebrate Pride Month, while he sold products via his Dan Good Cookies business at the Livermore
00:03:00Farmer's Market in California. So he handed out pride flags to customers. Gail Hayden,
00:03:06the director of the California Farmer's Market Association, made sure she used her authority to
00:03:11dash that nice gesture. She was recorded berating Floyd, calling the LGBTQIA plus
00:03:18promotion a political point of view. Hayden also tried to claim the flags were a health
00:03:26and safety risk as the kids were having sword fights with them. When the footage went online,
00:03:31the internet and the LGBTQIA plus community were livid at Hayden, and she was forced to
00:03:38resign from her director position. I didn't really mean political. I meant in the sense
00:03:43that it's not food, it's in another category. Number 72. Chipotle Chucker. Let the punishment
00:03:50fit the crime, as they say. In 2023, Rosemary Hain wasn't happy about the appearance of the
00:03:57hot burrito bowl she'd ordered from a Chipotle in Ohio. If I show you how my food looked and how
00:04:02my food looked a week later from that same restaurant, it was disgusting looking. So
00:04:07she argued with employees, leading her to throw the dish at Emily Russell before storming off.
00:04:18Have no fear. Haines was soon arrested and found guilty of assault. She was fined and
00:04:24sentenced to 180 days in jail with 90 suspended. However, the judge offered her an unusual
00:04:30alternative. Haines could instead work 20 hours per week for 60 days at a fast food restaurant,
00:04:36which she accepted. Why should the city taxpayers pay for her and feed her for 90 days in jail
00:04:45if I can teach her a sense of empathy? Russell, on the other hand,
00:04:48quit her job due to lack of support from Chipotle management.
00:04:53Number 71. Burger Basher. If you ask for extra ketchup on a burger, a rational person wouldn't
00:05:00be upset to receive what they asked for. But no one said Karens were rational. In 2022,
00:05:07a woman at a McDonald's was filmed doing the classic Karen thing of asking to speak to the
00:05:12manager. The woman was apparently mad at getting too much extra ketchup, channeling her inner
00:05:18toddler. The Karen slammed the burger on the counter, causing it to explode everywhere.
00:05:28She then claimed the staff were mocking her because she was on a diet,
00:05:32even though she didn't tell them that. When the video spread online, Karen posted an update
00:05:37saying she was fired due to the clip and accepted no responsibility.
00:05:48Number 70. Rich Racist.
00:06:00Donald Sterling had owned the NBA team, the Los Angeles Clippers, since 1981.
00:06:06But that came to an end in 2014. During leaked audio between the real estate mogul and his
00:06:12mistress, V. Stiviano, Sterling was angry that she had taken a photo with the legendary
00:06:18Magic Johnson. He stated while Stiviano could sleep with black people, Sterling asked her
00:06:24not to bring them to his games. The league, coaches and players, including those from the
00:06:36Clippers, were outraged at Sterling's racist remarks. The NBA banned Sterling for life and
00:06:41fined him $2.5 million. Sterling's wife pushed through the sale of the Clippers,
00:06:56eventually overcoming his efforts to block it by suing her and the NBA.
00:07:02Number 69. Acting Up.
00:07:12If you're an actor who's a bigot, you might want to study your role before accepting a part.
00:07:19In 2019, actor Sayee Omuba caused outrage when a 2014 social media post in which she ranted
00:07:27homophobically was discovered. The problem was that Omuba had been cast as Celie in a UK theatre
00:07:34run of The Color Purple, a role that involves a lesbian relationship. After being dropped by
00:07:40the production and her agency, Omuba took everyone to a tribunal with the support of her
00:07:46father's group, Christian Concern. In 2021, she lost the case and was ordered to pay over £300,000
00:07:54in legal fees. Like a glutton for punishment, Omuba appealed. However, that was rejected in 2024.
00:08:01Number 68. Birthday Bigots.
00:08:11You don't get much more carony than dictating who can and can't live near you based on absurd
00:08:18criteria. In 2015, a group of white supremacists under the name Respect the Flag drove around
00:08:24Douglasville, Georgia waving confederate flags and weapons, screaming racial slurs and threatening
00:08:30anyone who wasn't white. This included families and children attending a birthday party.
00:08:39The group did this shortly after extremist Dylan Roof had committed a heinous church
00:08:44shooting in South Carolina. In 2017, couple Jose Torres and Kayla Norton were found guilty for
00:08:51their involvement. Torres was sentenced to 13 years in jail and 7 on probation, Norton to 6
00:08:58and Norton to 9. The duo sobbed as they received their punishments.
00:09:18Number 67. Tram Tirade.
00:09:21Police are appealing for information after a woman traveling on the Croydon Tram held
00:09:26racist abuse at fellow passengers. Most of the time, public transport is easy and uneventful.
00:09:32But apparently not when Emma West got on a tram from Croydon, England to Wimbledon in 2011. With
00:09:40a child sitting awkwardly on her knee, she launched into a racially charged tirade,
00:09:45ignorantly telling anyone, mostly non-white passengers, to go back to their countries.
00:09:52After the clip went viral, West was located and arrested. In 2013, she was given a 24-month
00:10:00community order. However, that wasn't the end of it. In 2014, after being suspended from her job,
00:10:07West was struck off as a dental nurse by the General Dental Council after they deemed her a
00:10:13risk to patient safety. Number 66. Principle of Racism.
00:10:19When most folks make a mistake at work, they don't become a bigot. But apparently,
00:10:24Nancy Gorduk is cut from a very different, severely frayed cloth. In 2015, the founder
00:10:32and principal of the TNT Academy in Stone Mountain, Georgia, accidentally dismissed students
00:10:37at graduation before the valedictorian's speech. When she called them back, for some reason,
00:10:43Gorduk singled out the black students and berated them.
00:10:50After the clip went viral and caused outrage, Gorduk apologized. But she added that the devil
00:10:57made her behave racist. As a result of the scandal and pointing fingers at Satan,
00:11:09the school's board of directors voted to fire Gorduk. Number 65. TSA Tantrum.
00:11:20In 2023, three TSA agents had the worst shift ever when Micaiah Coleman went through security
00:11:29at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Due to the rules, you can't take large quantities
00:11:34of liquids through, and Coleman wasn't happy to lose her precious apple juice.
00:11:39After ranting and trying to get her items back, she got onto a table to illustrate her frustration.
00:11:45When the agents tried to control her, it got messy. Coleman elbowed one,
00:11:50giving them a concussion, and ripped their top. Then, after taking off her shirt for some reason,
00:11:56she grabbed another's hair and punched them multiple times. Finally, Coleman bit the
00:12:01remaining agents. Unsurprisingly, she was arrested and charged on several counts, including assaults.
00:12:16Number 64. The Undermining Volunteer. It's basic decency to address people by their preferred
00:12:24and actual title, especially when it comes to a formal setting like a council zoning commission
00:12:29meeting. Well, Tony Collins didn't want to be decent in 2021. During a Greensboro,
00:12:42North Carolina City Council Zoom meeting, Collins, a volunteer construction contractor,
00:12:48refused to address Carrie Rosario as Dr. Rosario. Instead, he referred to her as Mrs. Rosario,
00:12:55despite her correcting him multiple times. It makes you wonder if he'd been rude if Rosario
00:13:08had been a white man. At a later meeting, the council disclosed Collins showed white privilege
00:13:15and entitlement and voted to fire him from his position in the zoning commission.
00:13:20Number 63. Soup Assaults. In 2021, Janelle Broland, a manager at the Sol de Jalisco restaurant
00:13:29in Temple, Texas, was having an annoying shift. She'd just dealt with a phone call from Amanda
00:13:35Martinez, complaining about her soup being so hot that it melted the plastic lid. But Broland's
00:13:50workday was going to get worse when Martinez walked in and began ranting. When the manager
00:13:56asked her to calm down or the cops would be called, Martinez lobbed the soup in Broland's face
00:14:02before running off. Thankfully, it wasn't hot, but the spicy content did give the manager a
00:14:08nosebleed and irritated her eyes. In 2023, Martinez was fined, told to pay court costs,
00:14:24and received 15 months deferred adjudication and six days of jail work release.
00:14:30Number 62. First Class Racism. Nice neighbours can make a house a home. Nasty neighbours can
00:14:44make a house a hellscape. Suzanne Kraft is definitely in the nasty category. In 2020,
00:14:51she began targeting fellow Louisville, Kentucky resident with her bile. Simply being an interracial
00:14:56couple was enough to rile up Kraft, who sent a family letters through the post containing threats,
00:15:02bullets, and racist slurs. The Karen neighbour has a history against this, and another family too.
00:15:09She was convicted of vandalism for spurring offensive imagery and slurs on their properties,
00:15:14resulting in Kraft being given a non-contact order, which she ignored. In 2023, Kraft was
00:15:21sentenced to nine years in jail, followed by three years of supervised release for her horrible
00:15:26harassments. Number 61. The Astronauts. Lisa Nowak could have spent the rest of her days
00:15:47living off the fact that she was a NASA astronaut. Instead, she's better known as the
00:15:58Astronuts. In 2007, after her relationship with fellow astronaut William Oflin ended
00:16:04and he began seeing Colleen Shipman, Nowak wanted revenge. Allegedly wearing an adult diaper,
00:16:11she packed a load of weapons and supplies as she drove 900 miles to confront Shipman
00:16:16in Orlando, Florida at the airport. Nowak managed to pepper spray Shipman, who managed to get away
00:16:31and call the cops. In 2009, Nowak, as part of a plea deal, received one year's probation and two
00:16:38days in jail that she already served. She was also demoted by the Navy and got an other than
00:16:45honorable discharge. Number 60. Trad Karen. The rise of trad wives in recent years has been
00:16:54strange. On one hand, they're living the life they want. On the other, well, there's Lily Gattis.
00:17:01In 2024, she posted a cooking video. But instead of talking about how much salt to add,
00:17:07she goes on a misogynistic, racist, and expletive rant about gold diggers.
00:17:15Stop throwing us all under the bus as if we're all gold diggers.
00:17:18Somehow, making it even worse, Gattis casually throws in a racial slur.
00:17:23After the internet was awash with outrage, the video found its way to Rove of the Carolinas,
00:17:29her employers, who promptly fired her. Did Gattis hold her hands up and apologize?
00:17:35Of course not. Instead, she called people sick for getting her fired.
00:17:40Then, the trad wife showed her arrogance by pretending to apologize, only to mock people.
00:17:55Number 59. Canada Karen. Canada has a reputation for being filled with nice people.
00:18:02Then, there's Kelly Polka breaking that mold.
00:18:14In 2018, a group of men were trying to enjoy their meals at a Denny's in Lethbridge, Alberta.
00:18:21Suddenly, Polka turned her head around and began yelling at them and uttered violent threats.
00:18:32At one point, she had to be restrained by her husband.
00:18:38Polka also claimed they weren't Canadian and told them to go back to their countries.
00:18:43While it shouldn't matter, each of the men are Canadian citizens.
00:18:53Polka did apologize for her racist behavior, but also claimed she was apparently provoked.
00:18:59Police investigated, and Polka's employer, Cranbrook Dodge, immediately fired her.
00:19:14Number 58. In-N-Out Legal Trouble. In 2022, Areen Kim and Elliot Ha were at
00:19:22an In-N-Out restaurant in San Ramon, California, and got a hate crime along with their fries.
00:19:29The duo were digging in and recording their review when Jordan Krah's disembodied voice
00:19:39began spewing racist and homophobic comments and slurs at them.
00:19:44Like a menacing Casper, Krah threatened to fight Ha outside. Kim tried to continue the
00:19:50video like a trooper, only for Krah to stand outside and watch them through the glass,
00:19:55putting them both off.
00:20:00The good workers at the restaurant walked the pair to their car to make sure they were safe.
00:20:09When the video went viral, internet sleuths managed to track down Krah's identity.
00:20:14He was arrested and charged with hate crimes.
00:20:18Number 57. Nursing Racism. On the whole, nurses are underappreciated,
00:20:25even though they're the backbone of the medical industry.
00:20:29Then there's Rayane Oliva, who breaks the mold for all the wrong reasons.
00:20:34In 2015, she was recorded uttering vulgar insults against Native Americans,
00:20:39then finishing with a smug expression. Well, that look would soon be scrubbed from her face.
00:20:45The video and other clips and posts from Oliva quickly drew the ire of the internet,
00:20:52especially with Native Americans. After discovering she was a nurse at the Monument
00:20:57Health Rapid City Hospital in South Dakota, they set up a Facebook page, requesting she'd be fired
00:21:03and arranged a demonstration. However, before the protest,
00:21:07the hospital publicly fired Oliva and stated they stood against racism.
00:21:12Number 56. Petty Person Petty. A local man simply wants to fish in his own
00:21:18neighborhood. Alarming video tonight shows him catching something else.
00:21:22In 2023, Anthony Gibson was hanging out with friends and doing some fishing in Noonan, Georgia.
00:21:29But then, for the third time of the day, a white person sticks their nose in.
00:21:34All are the same type of people. Atlanta News First saw some of those
00:21:38other encounters on his page, one of which he claims police were called on him.
00:21:42Pretending to be nice with cloudy overtones of racism, Tanya Petty questions where the group
00:21:48lives since the lake is only for use by residents. However, Gibson lived there.
00:21:54When Petty didn't immediately get her way, she switched tactics by playing the victim.
00:21:59She denied Gibson permission to film her and threatened him by saying she would take down
00:22:04his license plate number. When Petty's employer, wellness company Sea Glass Therapy, heard about
00:22:10it, they publicly fired her as an independent contractor.
00:22:14Number 55. Karen the Karen The high-powered woman slammed for
00:22:19berating cops during a traffic stop is breaking her silence. In 2018, police in Tenafly, New Jersey,
00:22:27stopped a vehicle after noticing its registration had lapsed. The cops had no idea what they were
00:22:33in for when Karen Turner arrived to collect her daughter, who was using the car. She quickly
00:22:39pulled the, do you know who I am card by making it clear she was a commissioner for the Port
00:22:44Authority of New York and New Jersey. After tossing in she was a friend of the mayor and that the
00:22:57pulled over women were students at prestigious schools, Turner also belittled and swore at the
00:23:03officers. For some sweet revenge, the department released the footage. After resigning from the
00:23:09Port Authority, Turner was also fined $1,500 by the Ethics Commission.
00:23:15Number 54. Dior Disaster As creative director at Dior, John Galeano
00:23:30had the fashion world at his feet. But that was before he got intoxicated and went on an
00:23:35anti-semitic rant not once but twice. In 2011, shortly before Paris Fashion Week, a video of
00:23:43Galeano emerged of him saying he loved Adolf Hitler and wished violence against others.
00:23:54After this, another woman came forward with similar accusations concerning a 2010 incident.
00:24:01On top of being fired by Dior, the disgraced designer was also found guilty of his tirade
00:24:06and fined €6,000 in suspended fines. In 2013, Galeano sued Dior for unfair dismissal.
00:24:14Unsurprisingly, he lost and had to pay the defendants a symbolic €1 each.
00:24:21Number 53. Utah Karen A Midvale family now taking legal action
00:24:27In an ideal world, every neighbor would be a good egg. Sadly, you have people like Katherine
00:24:38Smith who has continually terrorized her neighborhood in Midvale, Utah. In 2023,
00:24:45for months, she targeted one family by screaming racial slurs at them,
00:24:49messing with their vehicles and even threatening to feed their child to her cats.
00:24:57Smith was recorded multiple times behaving inexcusably. According to the family's lawyer,
00:25:04there had been 81 incidents of recorded terrible behavior by Smith. When all the footage got out,
00:25:09you might be shocked to know that Smith had outstanding warrants. One for harassing
00:25:15another family. Even though she was arrested, Smith continued her campaign. So in 2024,
00:25:21the family issued a lawsuit against her.
00:25:28Number 52. Hollywood Horror
00:25:45In 2020, Natasha Lawson was working as a security guard at a pavilion supermarket
00:25:50in West Hollywood, California. Instead of getting to enjoy a quiet shift,
00:25:55she was alerted to an argument in the parking lot. When she arrived, Cashmire Duran turned her
00:26:01ire towards Lawson. She threw a bottle at the guard, attacked her and even bit her finger.
00:26:07All while Duran uttered racial slurs. Eventually, Duran's father dragged her
00:26:20into the car and tried to get away. However, they were blocked from doing so. Duran continued
00:26:26yelling obscenities inside the vehicle. At one point, reaching a new low by throwing dog food
00:26:31on the ground and using more slurs. Duran was arrested and charged for her deplorable actions.
00:26:39Number 51. Skirt Shamer
00:26:41In 2024, Avery Leroy was with friends at a restaurant in St. George, Utah.
00:26:53Suddenly, she felt cold hands touch her and pull on her skirts. Leroy then saw the icy
00:26:58mitts belonged to an Ida and Lorenzo. During the confrontation, Lorenzo flashed her ID badge,
00:27:05told them she was working for the state and said she would call CPS if Leroy's skirt
00:27:10didn't stop exposing her. In reality, the student had shorts underneath. After seeing
00:27:22the clip online, Lorenzo called the police, even claiming bystanders applauded her for her actions.
00:27:29However, once they got the whole story, she was arrested and charged with battery.
00:27:34To top off the justice cake with a karmic cherry,
00:27:38Lorenzo was also fired from the Utah Attorney General's office.
00:27:43Number 50. Low Battery Meltdown
00:27:46Getting a low phone battery is annoying, sure, but launching into a racist tirade against someone
00:27:53that has nothing to do with that? Well, that's bonkers. In November 2022,
00:28:04a video emerged of an Uber driver getting a load of abuse from a customer. With footage taken from
00:28:10the worker and by a witness, we can see the entitled woman yelling at the guy about her
00:28:15battery and wanting a charger. To make her behavior worse, she uttered multiple racial
00:28:20slurs at the driver, sparking gasps from the witness. The police interviewed the driver,
00:28:33however, he didn't issue a formal complaint. Uber then announced the woman was banned from
00:28:39the platform. Delightful. Number 49. Tube Show
00:28:45On England's London Underground, there's a list of unspoken rules. Don't talk loudly,
00:28:51don't speak to strangers to be friendly, and don't eat smelly stuff.
00:28:55There's also a written rule about not spitting racist vitriol that one can ignore.
00:29:04In 2020, he was yelling aggressive abuse at other passengers like,
00:29:08this is my home, and other such ridiculous things. He even referred to non-white people
00:29:15as his pets. Gross. As the tube stops, a group of black guys goes to leave, however,
00:29:21Ken tries to intimidate them. Suddenly, one of the guys spins and punches him, knocking the now
00:29:27unconscious Ken to the floor in a heap. While cheers erupted from the carriage,
00:29:33some people put Ken in the recovery position. Number 48. No Cruise Control
00:29:50It might not come as a surprise to anyone, but even politicians can be complete Karens.
00:29:57In March 2022, Texas Senator Ted Cruz was running late and ended up missing his flight
00:30:03from Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport in Montana. Instead of handling it like an adult,
00:30:09he argued with the staff for his poor timekeeping, even reportedly whipping out the
00:30:14Do You Know Who I Am card. Cruz became frustrated when he was late for checking in for his flight
00:30:20to DC, and was told that rebooking options weren't limited due to spring break. In the end,
00:30:26the police had to be called to calm Cruz down. Another US politician who hates being told what
00:30:32to do is Amanda Chase. After refusing to wear a mask during the Virginia Senate sessions in February
00:30:382021, she had to sit in a plexiglass box of shame. Pretty humiliating.
00:30:46Number 47. New Jersey Slurs When Tamika Bordeaux walked out of her Bayon,
00:30:52New Jersey home in January 2022, she was quickly greeted by the sight of a mail carrier being
00:30:58chastised by Claudia Emanuele, who was complaining about some late post. Reportedly attempting to be
00:31:05a good Samaritan, she went to help. But as soon as she walked over, Emanuele erupted with a litany
00:31:11of racial slurs at her. Bordeaux tried to simmer down the situation, but that didn't work. Even
00:31:29walking away had no effect, as Emanuele followed and kept using abusive words. Emanuele only
00:31:36stopped with the abuse when Bordeaux went into a store and after two other people had intervened.
00:31:42Bordeaux ultimately handed the video to the cops, who arrested Emanuele.
00:31:50Number 46. Buffalo Bigot In May 2022, Caitlin Bolden,
00:31:56Brandon Hawkins, and Erica Seymour were part of the behavioral health team for the Buffalo Police,
00:32:02which specializes in cases with mental health incidents. The trio watched a video of a black
00:32:07police officer being pulled over by a white officer, highlighting racial profiling, before
00:32:13showing the clip to their captain, Amber Byer. She reportedly launched into a racially charged,
00:32:20minute rant, slating black people. Citing other incidents of her racism, including claims she
00:32:39repeatedly used grim slurs, the three spoke to Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia, who removed her
00:32:45from managing the department. Then in December 2022, the trio initiated a $15 million lawsuit
00:32:59against Byer, who was quickly suspended from her role. Number 45. Texas Tirade
00:33:16One common factor of Karen's is making sure everyone knows their vile thoughts,
00:33:26even if no one requested them. In August 2022, four Indian American women were going to their
00:33:32cars after being at a restaurant in Plano, Texas. But then Esmeralda Upton came out of the shadows
00:33:39and decided she was going to go on a racist rant. Fearing for their safety,
00:33:44the woman filmed Upton's outburst. She told the four how much she hated Indians,
00:33:49issued threats of violence, and assaulted them. On top of being arrested on several charges,
00:33:54Upton also had to contend with not one, but two lawsuits from her victims.
00:34:00Number 44. Tape Dub Sometimes people come together to get justice.
00:34:07In 2021, on a flight from Philadelphia to Miami, a drunk Maxwell Barry was causing havoc
00:34:14as he groped two female flight attendants. When a male attendant confronted him,
00:34:19things kicked off. After spouting verbal abuse, Barry attempted to attack the man,
00:34:24but it didn't work out for him. The attendant, cool as a cucumber, restrained Barry easily.
00:34:31Other passengers got involved and helped him by taping the unruly Barry to his chair.
00:34:37Despite Barry constrained, the flight attendants used seatbelt extenders and tape to keep him
00:34:42seated, and his mouth temporarily shut. Genius! He was arrested when the plane landed.
00:34:48On top of his cinematic embarrassment going viral, Barry faced charges of three counts of assault.
00:34:55He pled guilty and received 60 days in prison, with one year of supervised release.
00:35:02Number 43. The Anti-Influencer Even if you're walking down the sidewalk,
00:35:07apparently, that's enough to summon a Karen from the Shadow Realm to torment you.
00:35:13In December 2022, TikToker Bianca Figueira said she was doing just that when Sandra Jean Allen
00:35:20was walking in the other direction, so the influencer attempted to get out of her way.
00:35:25After she did that, Allen had to escalate the situation with racist insults.
00:35:30When confronted, Figueira claimed Allen got physical with her, which in turn caused the
00:35:36TikToker to defend herself and her family. Allen proceeded to scream for help for some reason,
00:35:42then threatened to call ICE on Figueira. Yikes!
00:35:46After throwing in cringey phrases like,
00:35:57are you triggered, the altercation got police called to the scene.
00:36:09They were eventually shown the footage, leading Allen to be later arrested for her behavior.
00:36:15Number 42. Escalation Karen Enjoying the warm weather in March 2022
00:36:23in Bristol, England, Faye Johnson and her three children decided to paddleboard on a river.
00:36:28However, a group of tweens was enjoying their own entertainment, albeit inappropriate and reckless,
00:36:35as they launched rocks and mud balls at folk on the water. Johnson erupted with rage when she
00:36:42and her kids had items lobbed at them. She grabbed her paddle and struck Antoine Forrest on
00:36:53the head, leaving a nasty injury. After the police originally failed to react, which caused much
00:37:00public outrage, they eventually arrested Johnson for her assault. In January 2023, she was handed
00:37:07a four-month suspended sentence and told to give Forrest £500 in compensation.
00:37:13Number 41. Walmart Can Usually, we see Karens as customers launching
00:37:20a tirade of irrational abuse against employees. Well, not this time. Instead, it's reversed.
00:37:28In November 2022, an unnamed customer was trying to leave Walmart with a cart of paid items.
00:37:34Instead, he was blocked by an unidentified employee. For context, the worker was white and
00:37:39the customer was black. The employee demanded to see the receipt before spitting racial insults and
00:37:46slurs. The worker then began taking items from the cart. This caused the two to get into a ruckus
00:37:53over the products. Afterward, the customer issued a formal complaint with Walmart,
00:38:07who later announced the racist employee was no longer working for them.
00:38:12Number 40. South African Karen In 2016, in Johannesburg, South Africa,
00:38:20estate agent Vicky Momberg's car was broken into. When the police arrived, instead of them
00:38:25being able to help solve this crime, they became victims of another. Momberg launched into a racist
00:38:32tirade against the officers and emergency service dispatchers, even throwing in apartheid-era slurs
00:38:3948 times.
00:38:48So, she was arrested for Kremen injuria, which concerns impairing another's dignity. In 2018,
00:38:55Momberg became the first South African to be sentenced to jail for such a crime.
00:39:00The court rejected Momberg's claim that she was emotionally stressed at the time.
00:39:06The court looks at the circumstances and the actions of Ms. Momberg as intentional and racial.
00:39:12She was originally handed a sentence of three years, with one suspended. She appealed the
00:39:17decision but failed. In December 2019, Momberg was released from prison and hopefully learned
00:39:24from the experience. Number 39. Pizza the Problem
00:39:29It's really bizarre how some Karens are so triggered by hearing languages other than their
00:39:35own. In February 2023, this was certainly the case when Rita Bellew went into Amy's Pizzeria
00:39:42in Hatboro, Pennsylvania. She lost her marbles upon hearing the TV behind the counter speak in
00:39:50Spanish. Bellew spewed a litany of racial insults toward the employees and owners of the restaurant.
00:40:05She then demanded a refund as she wasn't handing her cash to an illegal immigrant in her view.
00:40:11She then claims the people who called her racist were racist themselves. Right.
00:40:24Afterward, Bellew was charged with hate crimes. And to make her more annoyed,
00:40:28hopefully, the pizza shop has reportedly seen an increase in business since her racist rant.
00:40:42Number 38. Doorbell Degenerate For over a year, the Suarez family in St.
00:40:48Louis, Missouri was harassed by Judy Klein. But seemingly, it wasn't until her ring-recorded
00:40:55exploits went viral that anything was done by the authorities.
00:40:59She often turned up at their property and issued racially charged and violent threats,
00:41:14claiming it was her house. But that's not all. At one point, she even broke into the building
00:41:20and threatened one member of the family with a hammer. According to reports, Klein's family
00:41:26had owned the property decades ago but sold it. For some reason, she decided this meant
00:41:32she could still control what someone else does with their home. In February 2023,
00:41:37Klein was arrested and charged for her barrage of crimes against the Suarez family.
00:41:43More than a year later, Klein now faces three felony charges,
00:41:46burglary, property damage, and unlawful use of a weapon.
00:41:50Number 37. Hot, Beautiful and Unemployed The unearned confidence of a white Karen
00:41:58is truly a sight to behold. In October 2018, two unidentified black women were in the parking lot
00:42:05of a block of apartments in Charlotte, North Carolina, as they awaited help with a car
00:42:11problem. All of a sudden, a seemingly intoxicated Susan Westwood descends on the duo, proclaiming
00:42:18she is hot and beautiful. She then rants with tones of racism as she questions why the two
00:42:28are there, with plenty of cursing. Even after being asked to leave, Westwood continued harassing
00:42:42them, so the woman called the cops. Afterward, Westwood lost her job with cable company Spectrum.
00:42:48Then in 2019, she was sentenced to 12 months of probation for her various charges.
00:42:55Number 36. Snow Day Apparently, like Karens,
00:43:00Kens regularly can't cope with putting a piece of cloth over their mouth for a bit of time to
00:43:06protect others. In 2022, at a ski resort in Ontario, Canada, one snowboarder wasn't happy
00:43:19with the business's wear a mask rule. The guy kept trying to get on the ski lift, but the security
00:43:25staff repeatedly stopped him. The unfortunate, patient skiers had to watch as Ken's actions
00:43:32slowly ate into their slope time. After the man tries to fight out of security's grasp,
00:43:44the police arrive, and the crowd cheers as this drama finishes.
00:43:56The man was escorted from the resort, but no charges were filed.
00:44:00However, he did get the embarrassment of this video going online.
00:44:05Number 35. Takeout Freakout In the modern world, online reviews are
00:44:11vital. A business can be successful or collapse on that mark out of five. Well, David DeMerchant
00:44:18phones the restaurant Frank D's to order takeout. However, he was put on hold. So, DeMerchant let
00:44:25the world know about his bad experience. Sadly for him, the owner added some details he conveniently
00:44:32left out. His server actually had a seizure while on the phone with DeMerchant. He then arrived at
00:44:38the restaurant to pick up his order, ignoring the ambulance outside. When they offered to make it
00:44:43there, DeMerchant refused, went home, and wrote this misleading review. Now, he has to live with
00:44:50the shame of getting publicly called out. Number 34. Miss Kick
00:44:57After having a few drinks, people tend to get an inflated ego. In 2021, at the Linkster's
00:45:03Tap Room in Florida, one patron thought more highly of his fighting skills than he should
00:45:08have. In the video, we see him yelling at a guy on the street. As the guy approaches,
00:45:14the patron goes to showcase what he's learned from watching three UFC fights with a roundhouse
00:45:19kick. Only, he misses. Big time. He pretty much takes himself out of the battle with some instant
00:45:31karma. Various other bar folk descend on the scene and separate the duo. However, the patron tries to
00:45:37punch the guy to save face. It doesn't work. On a side note, the lights on the tree outside are
00:45:44mesmerizing. Number 33. IHOP Patients
00:45:49Waitstaff has to deal with a lot of annoying and unnecessary stress from customers.
00:46:02Honestly, they should be paid so much more than what they get. Especially this IHOP employee in
00:46:082022. One sneaky customer recorded one man having a meltdown at the restaurant. This Ken decided that
00:46:16slow service was the thing that tipped him over. After arguing with Ken and getting abused,
00:46:21she tells him to leave and walks off. Like a rational person, he picks up his glass
00:46:27and throws it on the floor, causing pieces to fly around and hit other people.
00:46:39Yikes. Quickly, security descends on Ken and forces him out of the restaurant with plenty of shame.
00:46:55Number 32. Collier Karen Educators are often seen as one of the noblest
00:47:01and most trustworthy groups. But then, there's Patricia Schmidt, who smudges that reputation
00:47:07and then some. In August 2021, she was an exceptional student education specialist at
00:47:14an elementary school in Naples, Florida. According to an unidentified mother, she and her children
00:47:19were walking on the pavement down a road. Schmidt, who was driving, beat her horn before she rolled
00:47:26down her window as she thought the two were trespassing. She embarked into a curse-filled,
00:47:32racist, and ableist rant, screaming multiple slurs at them. With all the negative publicity,
00:47:40the Collier County School District initially put Schmidt on leave before they fired her
00:47:45for her disgusting behavior. Number 31. Sheep in the Bank
00:47:58Once again, we have someone who has a tantrum over being asked to wear a face mask inside a
00:48:04business. In March 2021, in Galveston, Texas, Terry Lynn Wright refused to comply at a bank.
00:48:11So, they asked her to leave, which she declined. With no other option, the staff called the cops
00:48:18to have Wright removed. When the police arrived, Wright tried to tell the officer about the law.
00:48:24Yikes. After getting physical with the cop, Wright was arrested. In the process,
00:48:39she tried claiming it was police brutality, but multiple witnesses hilariously disagreed,
00:48:45prompting her to call them sheep. A week later, to the surprise of no one,
00:49:02Wright had a similar incident at another location. Number 30. Key Fob Kelly
00:49:09Even just trying to get home apparently ruffles the Karen's feathers.
00:49:17In October 2018, Darian Tolles was trying to enter the apartment complex where he lived
00:49:22in St. Louis, Missouri. In his way was a white woman, Hilary Brooke Muller,
00:49:27armed with a tiny dog who had a problem with the black man trying to get to his residence.
00:49:32Acting as though she owns the building, she demanded proof that he lives there,
00:49:37dabbling in some racial profiling. Thirty minutes after this incident,
00:49:50a police officer sent by Muller spoke to Tolles in his apartment. When the video went viral,
00:49:56Muller's employers weren't too happy. The real estate company Tribeca STL fired her publicly
00:50:03for her stunt. Number 29. Radio Karen
00:50:14Oh boy, another incident of a white American snapping when hearing a non-English language
00:50:21spoken. In July 2020, a group of landscapers was working in the street in
00:50:32Nashua, New Hampshire. Suddenly, they were accosted by conservative Donald Trump-loving
00:50:37radio host Diana Plaws, who recorded the incident. She laid into them for speaking
00:50:43Spanish then accused some of the workers of being in the states illegally. A passerby
00:50:52stepped in to confront Plaws, but she only made more racial statements and called him
00:50:58a social justice warrior for wearing a face mask. According to George Russell,
00:51:02who owns the radio station WSMN Broadcasting, he received thousands of complaints about
00:51:08Plaws' actions, so he dropped her show from their slate.
00:51:14Number 28. Cocktail Catastrophe Many of us have had the joy
00:51:19slash trauma of having too much to drink on a night out, but not many of us will descend
00:51:25into a racist rant. Then again, we're not Justine Morrison, and admittedly, we don't
00:51:32know how much she drank, but reports did say she threw a drink in January 2023. In fact,
00:51:39she was removed from a cocktail bar in Halifax, England after causing a scene. Outside,
00:51:45Morrison decided being ejected wasn't enough. She decided to go on a racist rant at the
00:51:50doorman Dally Wiley, spitting her disgust at him as her tirade was recorded. Not only was
00:52:03she cautioned by the police for her hate crime and got permanently banned from the bar, but
00:52:08Morrison was also fired from her part-time accounting job for the Shine Theatre Arts.
00:52:14Number 27. Horsin' Around In 2013, Christine McGrail and her daughter
00:52:30Olivia decided to wait in the drive-through at McDonald's in Whitefield, England. Sounds normal
00:52:36so far, except they were on horses. When they were refused service for safety reasons and told
00:52:43to go inside the building to order, McGrail decided that meant letting Olivia take her pony
00:52:50inside as she waited outside with her own horse. Confused and disgusted customers were soon more
00:52:57grossed out when the horse defecated in the restaurant. But it's okay. As McGrail later
00:53:13claimed that everyone found it funny, which is doubtful, but especially not hilarious to the
00:53:19staff who had to clean the mess. McGrail was fined £90 and was banned from the McDonald's property.
00:53:32Number 26. Airplane Assault It's strange the trajectory some minor
00:53:40celebrities can go through in their lives. Take Patricia Cornwall. She was an NFL cheerleader and
00:53:46did a little acting in the past. Then in December 2021, she was videoed attacking an older man on
00:53:53a plane. Cornwall was apparently enraged that Russell Miller wasn't wearing a face mask as he
00:53:59was eating and drinking. While he didn't help calm down the situation, instead calling her some choice
00:54:06phrases, Cornwall's unhinged reaction was something else. She struck, scratched, and spat on
00:54:21Miller. Thankfully, the flight staff managed to separate the two. However, Cornwall was arrested
00:54:26by the FBI after landing and charged with several crimes for her bizarre behavior.
00:54:32Number 25. Smoothie Tirade Hospitality employees have it rough. They're
00:54:42not paid enough and have to serve the public all day. Nightmare. But it got worse for teenage
00:54:48workers at Robex in Fairfield, Connecticut in January 2022 when James Iannazzo walked in.
00:54:55Apparently, he had bought his son a smoothie from there, resulting in an allergic reaction which
00:55:01required medical treatment. However, according to the staff, Iannazzo didn't mention the peanut
00:55:06allergy when he ordered. He erupted with a racist tirade at the employees, even throwing the
00:55:13beverage at them. Iannazzo was fired by Merrill Lynch and was arrested. He was given a year of
00:55:25probation and had to donate $500 to a charity. Then, he settled a lawsuit from one of the
00:55:32employees for a reported $7,500. Number 24. SoCal Karen
00:55:40In 2020, Torrance, California and the surrounding area were haunted by a figure that harassed folk
00:55:46with Asian heritage. Lena Hernandez, who used to be a social worker, weirdly, was involved in
00:55:53several incidents where she launched into grim, racist rants at people for seemingly little to no
00:55:59reason. At one point, she put on a mock Asian accent to belittle one victim. But in July 2020,
00:56:11she was finally arrested for attacking Katelyn Salmanow at the Del Amo Mall the previous year.
00:56:17In October 2020, Hernandez pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery. As such, she received 45
00:56:24days in jail, three years of probation with a year of anger management and was barred from being near
00:56:30Salmanow and the mall. Number 23.
00:56:45Randy Marsh Cosplay You know it's a big deal when a
00:56:50performer has to stop what they're doing to address some nonsense in the audience.
00:57:08And that's exactly what happened in Georgia in 2022 as the comedian Lewis Black was doing his set.
00:57:14Comedians usually deal with hecklers swiftly and harshly. But not in this case. Black bluntly
00:57:20called out the guy who was harassing people in the audience. The crowd then turns their
00:57:25displeasure on Ken and yells for him to leave. Quickly, security arrives to escort him from the
00:57:36venue. At this point, Ken produces his best Randy Marsh impression from South Park by yelling that
00:57:42he thought this was America. It is. Which is why a private business can throw him out.
00:57:59Number 22. Party Pooper
00:58:06The bachelorette party is a cherished symbol for those taking the plunge into married life.
00:58:12In 2022, one group of women rented a $4,000 Airbnb to have a big shindig.
00:58:19But one local resident wasn't happy. This Ken trespassed onto the property as the women were
00:58:30enjoying the pool. He reportedly videoed them to make it extra creepy. Yelling that the party is
00:58:36disturbing the neighborhood, apparently he uses transphobic slurs and threatens violence against
00:58:42the group. The women stood their ground with this nonsense and called the police. Unfortunately for
00:58:51Ken, he was arrested for his nosy behavior. On top of that, he was already on probation for a
00:58:58domestic dispute the week before. Uh-oh. Number 21. Baldwin Batty
00:59:05Hey, even famous men can be Kens. It's not just a title for us normies. In 2018,
00:59:18actor Alec Baldwin had a bit of an... incident. He had apparently gotten into an argument with
00:59:24Wojciech Szewczykowski over a parking space in New York City. Instead of dealing with it
00:59:29rationally, Baldwin reportedly shoved Szewczykowski hard in the chest and then punched him across the
00:59:35jaw. In 2019, Baldwin sued Szewczykowski for the accusations and false imprisonment. He also
00:59:51claimed Szewczykowski was exaggerating his injuries. But the actor did admit guilt for a
00:59:56violation of harassment. Baldwin received a conditional discharge and enrollment in an
01:00:01anger management course. In 2022, this drama was eventually concluded when the case was settled.
01:00:08Number 20. Soho Karen
01:00:21At the end of 2020, a video went viral that showcased the later-named Soho Karen. Taking
01:00:29place at the Arlo Hotel in Soho, Manhattan, New York, Mia Ponsetto couldn't find her phone. Instead
01:00:36of being calm and rational, she decided to accuse a random black person, the 14-year-old
01:00:42Kion Harold Jr., of stealing it. He didn't have it. With Ponsetto also losing patience with Harold's
01:00:54father, she tackled the young boy to the ground, all of which was caught on camera. In the aftermath,
01:01:00a warrant was issued for her arrest. After a brief car chase, the cops got her.
01:01:06But she made it worse for herself by resisting. She pled guilty to a felony hate crime and
01:01:11received two years of probation. If Ponsetto fails to comply with the terms of the plea deal,
01:01:17she is facing up to four years in prison. Number 19. Dog Park Karen
01:01:23For some reason, Karens seem to flock to dog parks. It's bizarre how often this seems to happen.
01:01:30In 2021, author Frederick Joseph and his partner enjoyed a night walk with their pup
01:01:35in Brooklyn, New York. Suddenly, they were harassed by a woman. According to Joseph
01:01:40and a bystander in the video, the woman threatened to get the cops involved and told the couple to
01:01:46stay in their hood. This was all because the dog was barking loudly at night.
01:02:01There's just one problem. She got another apparently loud dog mixed up with Joseph's.
01:02:08After the video spread online, she was ID'd as Emma Sarley. Once her employer, software firm
01:02:15Bevy, heard about the incident and her discriminatory behavior, Sarley was fired.
01:02:26Number 18. Karen Named Karen Sometimes it's the little things in life.
01:02:32A rainbow, the smell of cut grass, and a Karen actually named Karen.
01:02:38In 2021, Karen Turner attempted to shop in a grocery store in Ohio. But since the pandemic
01:02:46was underway, people were on edge. Well, not Turner, who refused to wear a mask.
01:02:53The store staff told her to leave, but she stubbornly didn't. We're not sure what she
01:02:59was expecting here, but it probably wasn't the police turning up. Body cam footage shows Turner
01:03:05being as uncooperative as possible with the cops. As they attempted to take her handbag from her,
01:03:10she hilariously screams,
01:03:19Turner was fined $573 plus court costs for her strange protest.
01:03:26Number 17. Kat Meet Karen Here's a woman who ticks loads of boxes
01:03:32on the Karen bingo card. In 2020, TikTok user Iris Kessler posted a weird interaction that
01:03:39occurred outside a Mexican restaurant near her work. A customer known as Arielle accused the
01:03:46place of serving her cat meat instead of chicken. It's a bit weird that she apparently knows what
01:03:57cat meat tastes like. She then threw things at the restaurant's windows and threatened further
01:04:02violence against them. As Iris Kessler and others stood outside to stop her from returning,
01:04:08Arielle spat out various insults and homophobic remarks while they waited for the cops to come.
01:04:13Her nonchalant demeanor soon went out the window as she was bundled into the back of the police car
01:04:19while screaming.
01:04:21Number 16. Zombie Karen Imagine a plague where zombies are created.
01:04:34That's already grim. Well, now picture a Zombie Karen. Sorry for that image. In 2020,
01:04:42an unnamed woman was reportedly told to leave a Louisiana bar and wasn't let back in. It isn't
01:04:49hard to see why. With the door closed, she didn't take the news well. She threw herself
01:04:55against the glass multiple times while yelling. She then began licking the door for some reason.
01:05:06Not getting anywhere with her walking dead stick, she decided to bust in using her head.
01:05:13She also accused the person filming of being racist. Right. By the end of the video,
01:05:19we see her being taken by police. She probably felt so silly the following day. Hopefully.
01:05:29Number 15. Plane Karen Babies and planes can be a rough mix,
01:05:35but in 2018, Susan Perez handled things really poorly. Complaining about having to sit next to
01:05:42a young child and insulting the mom, Perez seemingly wanted to be moved, but this wasn't
01:05:48doable. She subsequently demanded the name of the flight attendant, Tabitha. Once she got it,
01:06:00she basically implied that she could get the worker fired. Well, Tabitha wasn't going to let
01:06:12that slide. She called for Perez, now with a surprised Pikachu face, to be removed from the
01:06:18plane. The Karen tried to say she was sorry, but the damage was already done. Her employer,
01:06:24the New York State Council on the Arts, suspended her. Number 14. Healthcare Karen
01:06:38It's not every day a Karen tells on themselves. It makes our job a little bit easier, though.
01:06:44In 2021, worldwide events caused Karens in all fields to get weird. One working at a medical
01:06:52center in Kentucky decided this was going to be the hill she wanted to metaphorically perish on.
01:06:58In a video posted by the TikTok account,
01:07:05at journeyintruth, the woman is asked to leave the building. She claims she hasn't
01:07:10resigned or been fired. Well, seemingly one of those isn't correct. In reality,
01:07:21the woman refused to comply with a vaccination mandate, meaning she could no longer work there.
01:07:27The head of security demands her and a fellow like-minded colleague's badge while she flicks
01:07:32her foot about and refuses to comply. Number 13. Corner Store Caroline
01:07:51In 2018, a woman claims to have been assaulted by a young boy in a corner store in Brooklyn,
01:07:57New York. That's shocking and horrific, right? In a video released online, we see the apparent
01:08:10victim, Teresa Cline, calling the cops on the young family as the children cried. However,
01:08:17her version of events were very, very wrong. CCTV showed as the boy walked out of the store,
01:08:25his backpack lightly grazed her, clearly showing him walking by, rushing out to leave with his
01:08:32family. So, she put this family through unnecessary stress over nothing. She
01:08:37apologized to the falsely accused black child after the truth came out, but her words were
01:08:42widely seen as insufficient. There were talks of an investigation into her actions,
01:08:54and while she wasn't arrested, she was mocked and called out.
01:08:59Number 12. Marjorie Taylor Greene fined
01:09:04Even politicians can be Karens. Marjorie Taylor Greene is one of the most controversial figures
01:09:10in the US. Greene refused to wear a mask in Congress, despite it being required.
01:09:28She ignored this easy-to-follow mandate many times. When a person breaks this house rule,
01:09:34they're fined $500 the first time, then $2,500 for each following incident.
01:09:47Usually, the amount is taken off the representative's salary. In January 2022,
01:09:52Greene claimed she had been fined nearly $90,000 as a result of her ignoring the directive. Using
01:10:00math, that means she'd flouted the decree around 37 times at that point. Yikes.
01:10:07Number 11. Kat Karen
01:10:10Nobody likes to be told they can't do something, but sometimes it's best to just listen and take
01:10:16the L. In 2020, a woman arrived at the World Gym in New Taipei, Taiwan. However, she wanted to bring
01:10:24her cat in with her. We can only assume she needed a trusted spotter. After attempting this numerous
01:10:31times in the past and reportedly having her membership taken away, she tried once more.
01:10:37But this time, she used violent threats. Then, still not getting her way, she took all her
01:10:44clothes off, stormed into the gym, and began working out. About 30 minutes later, the police
01:10:51arrived and arrested her after making sure she was dressed.
01:10:56Number 10. Armed Ken and Karen
01:10:59In 2020, as a group of George Floyd protesters went through a private neighborhood in St. Louis,
01:11:06Missouri, all was fine. Well, it was until Patricia and Mark Thomas McCloskey came out
01:11:12of their house yelling and pointing firearms at the protesters.
01:11:21Due to their bizarre actions, the two were invited to appear at that year's
01:11:29Republican National Convention, where they criticized the Black Lives Matter movement.
01:11:45In 2021, the McCloskeys pled guilty to misdemeanor offenses.
01:11:49This resulted in fines for the pair and the destruction of their notorious weapons.
01:12:02However, the Missouri Governor Mike Parson pardons them. In 2022, the Supreme Court of
01:12:08Missouri indefinitely suspended their law licenses, but then gave them a year's probation instead.
01:12:15Number 9. 10 Items or Jail
01:12:20For those of us that aren't keen on people, self-checkouts in grocery shops are wonderful,
01:12:26but sometimes there are rules on using them. In March 2023, Linda Yuka tried to go through
01:12:33one at an HEB store in Spring, Texas. When she was denied the option because she had more than
01:12:3910 items, an agitated Yuka left the grocery store. The employees were probably hoping this
01:12:46was the end of it, but no. She then returned with a friend. Yuka reportedly attacked a staff member
01:12:53and pulled her hair before hurrying away from the scene. The cops later tracked her down and
01:12:58charged her with assault. As part of her bond, Yuka is banned from shopping at any HEB stores
01:13:05throughout Harris County. Number 8. Starbucks Karen
01:13:10Ah, more anti-mask people. I get shortness of breath, dizziness, and it messes with the
01:13:15heartbeat. And I do have asthma as well. In 2020, Amber Gillis posted an image on
01:13:22Facebook of Starbucks barista Lennon Gutierrez in San Diego, California.
01:13:27Saying quote, meet Lennon from Starbucks who refused to serve me because I'm not wearing a
01:13:31mask, next time I will wait for cops and bring a medical exemption.
01:13:34She claimed she was refused service for not wearing a mask, and she wasn't pleased. And
01:13:40it didn't have quite the effect she was going for. Instead, a GoFundMe page was created for
01:13:46Gutierrez to give him tips for standing up to Gillis. He made this GoFundMe so other people
01:13:55could tip the barista, and it blew up. Currently, it has over $105,000. Well,
01:14:01Gillis wasn't happy. In 2021, she decided to sue Matt Cohen, who created the GoFundMe page.
01:14:09She claimed that a screenshot of her original post included in the fundraiser violated her
01:14:15rights. The suit was dismissed by a judge. However, Gillis is appealing the decision.
01:14:267. BBQ Becky
01:14:28It's a video that launched a thousand memes. In 2018, a group of people were enjoying the
01:14:35nice weather by having a barbecue at Lake Merritt in Oakland, California.
01:14:39Well, not on Jennifer Schultz's watch. She told the group that they couldn't be
01:14:51there for a barbecue and that she apparently owns the park. She doesn't. She then proceeds
01:14:57to call the police. She even takes and refuses to give back one person's ID.
01:15:14Eventually, the cops arrive with Schultz sobbing over the incident.
01:15:18They assessed her for a psychiatric hold but felt she didn't fit the criteria.
01:15:27After this event, Oakland residents came together at the site to have a large cookout,
01:15:32probably causing Schultz a sleepless night with all those grilled goodies.
01:15:386. San Fran Karen
01:15:41In San Francisco in 2020, James Wanilo was stenciling a BLM message on his own
01:15:48wall. But someone asks for his attention. As he turns, he's greeted with one of the
01:15:53most terrifying expressions a person can have in the shape of Lisa Alexander.
01:16:00Wanilo is then told by her that he shouldn't do that on other people's property. He plays
01:16:13along for a bit until Alexander states she knows the wall isn't his and she knows the person whose
01:16:20it is. Uh-oh. Wanilo then goads them into calling the cops, which they do.
01:16:29After the video went viral, Alexander apologized for calling the police.
01:16:34Several companies also cut ties with the skincare firm she's CEO of.
01:16:445. Extinguisher Scene
01:16:49In January 2023, Jennifer Holder was at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
01:16:56After allegedly dipping on paying the bill at Buffalo Wild Wings,
01:17:00she attempted to enter a secure door. A big no-no, especially in an airport.
01:17:07When she was confronted by staff, Holder grabbed a fire extinguisher and went on a rampage,
01:17:13spraying employees and passengers with the chemicals as she wandered around.
01:17:19Eventually, the police managed to arrest her, but not before they were kicked and spat on by
01:17:31Holder. Several airport staff even required medical attention for breathing in the extinguisher spray.
01:17:37Holder faces several charges, including assault and obstructing law enforcement.
01:17:434. Permit Patty
01:17:45In 2018 in San Francisco,
01:17:488-year-old Jordan Rogers was saving up to afford to go to Disneyland.
01:18:00This entrepreneur did this by selling cold bottled water on the street,
01:18:05right outside her house, for $2. Well, because people hate plucky kids apparently,
01:18:11Allison Edel decided to intervene. In a video, she is shown calling the cops on Rogers for not
01:18:19having a permit. Edel claims the yelling about the water being for sale for hours on end is what
01:18:36drove her to make the harsh decision. After the video was uploaded, Edel was nicknamed Permit
01:18:42Patty by the wonderful internet. Due to the backlash, she was later forced to resign as CEO
01:18:48of TreatWell Health. 3. Non-Flying Senator
01:19:01Sometimes, US Senators like to think of themselves as untouchable.
01:19:12Well, in 2021, Alaska State Senator Laura Reinbold learned that this isn't always the case.
01:19:20She was videoed at Juneau International Airport, arguing with staff over their mask rules. In a
01:19:25classic Karen move, whenever a member of staff asked her to wear it properly,
01:19:30she wrote down their name for daring to question her authority.
01:19:40Later on, Reinbold called it mask tyranny. With all the online backlash to the video,
01:19:46Alaska Airlines stated they told Reinbold she's no longer allowed to fly with them.
01:19:52Last year, she referred to Alaska Airlines staff as mask bullies after a confrontation
01:19:58with flight attendants. As a result, she's asked to be excused from legislative sessions
01:20:03until next year since traveling was now a nightmare for her. Whoops!
01:20:092. Mother and Son Karen Sometimes, being a Karen can be a family affair,
01:20:17and that was the case in 2021 in Tennessee. Johnny Martinez, who was doing his job checking
01:20:24vehicle permits in a residential building's car park, was accosted by mother and son,
01:20:28Bitsy and Edward Brennan. They demanded to see his ID and stated he shouldn't be there.
01:20:45Martinez refuses to go along with their antics. Out of nowhere, Edward attacks Martinez since he's
01:20:51recording on his phone. Bitsy then calls the cops. Edward then tries to gaslight the video
01:21:03camera by claiming he never touched Martinez. Right. In the aftermath, Edward was served with
01:21:10an arrest warrant for assault and Bitsy was fired as an investment broker at UBS.
01:21:401. Central Park Karen In 2020, Christian Cooper went to
01:21:46watch birds in New York's Central Park, but he spots namesake Amy Cooper with an unleashed dog,
01:21:53which they need to be in that area. So Christian asks her to put a leash on the pup. Instead of
01:22:00realizing her mistake and being sorry, she goes all Sith and refuses. Christian records the scary
01:22:07part, where she announces that she'll call the cops and recklessly claim,
01:22:11an African-American man is threatening my life, when he was doing no such thing.
01:22:22It's also really distressing seeing her yank her dog's collar all over the place.
01:22:26After the video came out, Franklin Templeton Investments fired Amy. She was also charged
01:22:32with several crimes, but those charges were later dropped. Have you experienced the wrath
01:22:50of a Karen out in public? Let us know in the comments. Did you enjoy this video? Check out
