Starbucks’s new CEO Brian Niccol is getting roughly $113 million in total compensation including a $10 million sign-on bonus and a $75 million equity grant.

00:11That includes a $10 million sign-on bonus, a $75 million equity grant,
00:17and a grant that could be worth $23 million per year.
00:21There's also his $1.6 million salary and an annual cash bonus that could range from $3.6 million
00:29to $7.2 million depending on his performance.
00:33He's also not being required to relocate to Starbucks' headquarters.
00:37Nickell will work remotely until he gets permanent secondary housing in Seattle.
00:41Starbucks also promised him it would establish a small remote office in Newport Beach on their dime.
00:47And they're covering the costs of any temporary housing arrangements
00:50and a personal chauffeur to drive Nickell around Seattle.
