00:00So hello everyone, welcome back to the channel Web4Click
00:03And today we are going to talk about Transparency
00:07You must have seen a lot of explanation videos
00:10in which we see things being transparent
00:13or you want to hide any object with the help of transparent in any of your videos
00:19So today's video is going to be very helpful for you
00:23So we have come to the screen of our blender
00:25First of all, we delete the cube that we can see
00:29And to understand transparency, first of all, I take a UV sphere
00:35Right click on the UV sphere and smoothen the shade
00:38And in this, I take a material at the bottom
00:42I will click on New
00:43And from here I make its color green
00:46If you go to its material mode and check it, you can see that our color has become green
00:51Now I would like to show you a small thing here
00:54First of all, I will press the Shift D button
00:55I will take it a little forward in the Y direction
00:58So here you will see that whatever color I select here with the Shift D button
01:03It will automatically apply to my other object
01:06Now if I want to change its color here
01:08And if I change its color directly from here
01:11So you will see that the other object is automatically changing its color
01:15I press Ctrl Z here
01:17So if you duplicate any object here with the Shift D button
01:21So all its settings and colors come in the duplicate object
01:25And if we make any changes here
01:27So it automatically keeps changing its color here
01:30So if you want to use any other material in it
01:34So for this, you have to click on the minus and remove the first material from the previous object
01:41Now I will click on this option here
01:44I will press the plus button and a new material will be generated here
01:47And by clicking on New here, I can take a new material here
01:51I make its color red
01:52If you want to change its name, then double click and you can change its name from here
01:57I am not changing its name
01:59Now we put our red object inside this object
02:03So that we can see it by making it transparent
02:06First of all, I press the S button and scale it here to make it smaller
02:09And if I want to take it in the center
02:12So here you can see the 3D cursor
02:14We will set it on this
02:17So I will select the object from here
02:18I will press the Shift S button
02:20And because we are taking our selection on the 3D cursor
02:26So we will choose this option
02:28And if we want to bring our 3D cursor from there to this object
02:31So we will select the one below
02:33So for now, I am taking the one I have selected on the cursor
02:36I will click on it
02:38So my object will reach the 3D cursor here
02:41We can focus it by clicking on the dot button of the numpad
02:45So that we can rotate the viewport
02:47So this will be in the center
02:50Now let's go to our transparency
02:52First of all, let me tell you
02:54You have to use transparency in different places in different types
02:58If you are in edit mode here
03:00So you will see that the object inside here
03:03I can't see it here
03:05And I want to make some changes in this object
03:08Which I have to set according to the object inside
03:12So for that, first of all, we have to make it a little transparent
03:16For that, we will go to the bottom option of the material
03:19Here we will get the option of viewport display
03:22If you want to change the color, you can change the color from here
03:25But this color is only for edit mode
03:28It will not reflect here
03:31Here your original color will only reflect here
03:36If I delete it here
03:38So only my viewport will remain here
03:41The same color will remain in the material that I have taken there
03:44When you click on it, you will get an option called alpha at the bottom
03:48Wherever you see this alpha
03:50Its connection is with our opacity
03:54And with this we make things transparent
03:57If you select it in every one
03:59You will see this alpha at the bottom
04:02And if I make alpha here
04:05The value of 1 is its default
04:07I will make it 0
04:08So you will see that my object will gradually become transparent here
04:12But this is our temporary transparency
04:16If you go to the render mode
04:19So my glow will be visible here as it is
04:23The green color is visible because this color is highlighted here
04:28And if you go to the render mode
04:30So everything that you render is visible here
04:33As it is my glow is made here
04:36So only for edit mode
04:38If you want to make it transparent here
04:41Then you can go to the viewport here
04:44You can make it transparent with the option of alpha
04:47And when your work is over
04:49You can fill it here and bring it back to its position
04:53Now let's see in this
04:55In our render settings
04:57That is, the video that we will export
04:59How to make it transparent there
05:01So the viewport option
05:03I close it here for now
05:05We will go up again
05:07And I will come here in material mode
05:10So this is my default color
05:12The material that I have assigned has come here
05:15And the sphere inside it is of my red color
05:18Now if I want to make it transparent here in the render option
05:22So how to do that
05:24First of all, let me tell you one thing for it
05:28So far we have learned a lot of things here
05:30Like our BSDF series was going on
05:33We covered a lot of BSDF here
05:36In this you get an option
05:38Transparent BSDF
05:40In this by default
05:42What we will get here
05:44The principal BSDF is selected here
05:46And all our other BSDFs here
05:50The quality of all these
05:52We get in this single principal BSDF
05:55That is, all our options will be found in it
05:58So either you are here
06:00The principal BSDF
06:02You can use it
06:04Or if you work in cycles
06:06If you want to make your models very powerful
06:08Or want to make it very clear
06:10Then you can work with them in detail
06:14So today we will learn about transparent BSDF
06:18Directly if you apply transparent BSDF here
06:22So you will see that the color of it will go from here
06:26I do not do it from here and set the control
06:29And to explain I explain to you from the shader
06:32So we have come to our shader
06:34I will show you from the end button
06:36By default, your principal will always be selected
06:39And all the BSDFs are automatically inbuilt in it
06:42You do not need any BSDF
06:44If we remove it from here
06:46So our color is reflected here because of it
06:50So this is the reason that as soon as we use transparent BSDF here
06:55And connect it to it
06:58So it will not show any effect on it
07:01So if we want to use it
07:03So how will we use it
07:05We will tell you at the end of the video
07:07First of all, I will tell you the easiest way to make it transparent
07:12So for this, I will connect it again
07:15So that our principal BSDF is connected to it
07:18We have come back to our screen
07:20Now if I want to make my top globe transparent
07:24So for that, remember that your principal BSDF should be selected here
07:29And when you go down
07:31So here in settings you will see this option
07:34Blend mode
07:35This is our option to make things transparent
07:39Below you will see one more thing
07:41Shadow mode
07:42In both of these, you will get the same option
07:45In the lower one, you will get all the same
07:47The only difference is that it works for our object
07:50And the lower one works for our shadow
07:52So let's leave the shadow for now
07:55And let's use blend mode here
07:58The first option in this is opaque hue
08:01Opaque hue shows the real color of our object
08:07And here in principal BSDF
08:09As I just told you that alpha reduces our opacity
08:13So this alpha here reduces our opacity
08:19In opaque hue mode, the lighting that is falling on it
08:22Only its transparency will be reduced here
08:26And if I take alpha to zero
08:29So it will make it black
08:31And whatever light is falling on it
08:33It will be removed from here
08:35So opaque hue means
08:37It will only affect the color and light
08:40For now, I will make it full
08:43In this, if you get the second option here
08:45Alpha clip, alpha hashed and alpha blend
08:48So if you see alpha here in all three
08:51So all three of them work for transparency
08:55Now to make things transparent
08:57You have to use different types here
09:00My first option is alpha clip
09:03What will it do?
09:05If you want to make anything directly transparent here
09:09So for that, we have alpha clip
09:12What will alpha clip do?
09:14The position of point 5
09:16It will keep it transparent up to here
09:18And above this, if you take even one point forward
09:22So it will give color here
09:25Means it makes it transparent directly here
09:29Nothing will come in the middle
09:31If you want to hide anything
09:33So you can animate it in this way
09:36If you pull it from here to here
09:38So it will become transparent here in one click
09:42Our second option comes in this
09:45Alpha hashed
09:47As you can see, the hashed that is attached to it
09:50It shows us that if I want
09:52Whatever I am making it transparent
09:55While making it transparent
09:57I see some changes here
09:59And some dot-dot signs are visible
10:02So that I know that my things are slowly becoming transparent
10:06Then we will use alpha hashed here
10:08So as soon as you choose the alpha hashed option here
10:11And change the alpha
10:13So this time you will see
10:15The things that are slowly
10:17You will see a little dotted here
10:20And as you keep reducing them
10:22You will see them in the form of dots
10:25That is, it will put an effect on one of its faces
10:30And it will show in this way
10:32By doing dot-dot
10:34Making it transparent
10:36So if you want to animate it
10:38So the small dot that is visible here
10:40With the help of this
10:42You can make it transparent
10:44If I show it to you in the render
10:47So now it will work perfectly here
10:50If I want to set the lighting here
10:53So for the time being
10:55I take an HDRI light here
10:57With the help of shader
10:59So if you want to light in the background
11:01So for this I will go to the world
11:03Go to the world and simply take an option here
11:05Environment texture
11:06Connect it from here
11:08How to use light in the background
11:10How to use color
11:11I have already made a video for this
11:13You can watch it by going to episode no. 50
11:15HDRI image is kept here
11:17I will select them here
11:19And my environment will change here
11:21You can see in this way
11:23My globe has changed here
11:25And now I can show things here
11:28Being transparent very easily
11:30So in this way
11:32The more you reduce the alpha
11:34The more these things will become transparent
11:36And the dotted area
11:38You will see it here
11:40So in this way
11:41The first option is
11:43It will reduce the opacity here
11:45It will make it transparent in a jiffy
11:47The second option is
11:49The dots will be seen in it
11:51It will show them in this way
11:53It is a dot option
11:55Being transparent
11:57Now the third option is
11:59It is my blend mode
12:01Which means whatever color we are using here
12:03By blending the color
12:05That is, by making the color transparent
12:07It will show here
12:09As soon as you click it here
12:12The reason for this is
12:14You can see an option at the bottom
12:16Show back face
12:18So when you put multiple layers in it
12:20Where you have to show multiple things
12:22Transparent
12:24One in one
12:26Then this option should be ticked here
12:28If you are using only one object
12:30Then just remove the tick
12:32So your object will come here
12:34In a good way
12:36But there are many things in one
12:38Which you have to show transparent
12:41For now, my alpha blend
12:43I have selected it from here
12:45And after selecting it
12:47Now if I change this alpha
12:49Then you will see
12:51My color mode
12:53It will animate here in this way
12:55So in this way
12:57You can change it here
12:59Its transparency
13:01Now let's animate it a little
13:03First of all
13:05If I want to use it here in a jiffy
13:07The first option I will take
13:09The first keyframe
13:11I will make it here
13:13For this I will click on this dot
13:15Point
13:17I have to click on this
13:19I will click on this dot
13:21My alpha should be full
13:23And as soon as I click on this dot
13:25My keyframe will be generated here
13:27Now you can see
13:29My keyframe is not visible here
13:31You can see I have put a keyframe here
13:33But my keyframe is not visible here
13:35The reason for this is
13:37I have made some changes in the shader
13:39Because of this
13:41It is not visible here
13:43By default, many things have come in it
13:45So my shader
13:47Should be selected here
13:49Then only my keyframe will be visible here
13:51Means my principal bsdf
13:53Will be selected here
13:55Then this keyframe will be visible here
13:57Now I have to make it transparent
13:59So I will make it transparent here
14:01And I will make it zero here
14:03And I will tick it
14:05Now you will see
14:07In one click
14:09My transparency will be
14:11Transparent like this
14:13Now let's move ahead
14:15Now I will select my second option
14:17First of all
14:19I will delete this keyframe
14:21I will select the second option
14:23First of all I will make a keyframe here
14:25And this time I will bring it to 80
14:27And I will check it
14:29I will reduce it here
14:31And I will make the second keyframe
14:33Now I will show it here
14:35It will be dotted like this
14:37And here
14:39I will make it transparent
14:41So anything
14:43You can make it transparent
14:45Screen space
14:47Refraction and all these things
14:49I have already told you
14:51The glass bsdf I explained to you
14:53Glass bsdf
14:55In that you can see
14:57How to make glass transparent
14:59Then we use these things here
15:01Now let's go
15:03In the explanation video
15:05How do we make things transparent
15:07Let's see it here
15:09Practically
15:11To understand practically
15:13I have taken a car here
15:15And let's say I am making
15:17An explanation video here
15:19Where I am going to explain
15:21The interior of the car
15:23First of all let me tell you
15:25Whenever we make an explanation video
15:27Camera movement is the most important
15:29If you know how to
15:31Move the camera
15:33If you know how to animate it
15:35Then you can make
15:37Good videos here easily
15:39So today
15:41First of all I will tell you
15:43A small trick
15:45With which you can move the camera
15:47And record your video easily
15:49So here our car
15:51Will stand at one place
15:53Our camera will move here
15:55There can be many conditions
15:57Condition may be
15:59Your object is moving
16:01And camera is also moving
16:03Or there are many conditions
16:05In which camera moves
16:07First of all
16:09Our car is standing at one place
16:11Which means
16:13Everything we are explaining
16:15Is at one place
16:17And camera is moving
16:19So first of all I will set the camera here
16:21From where my camera will move
16:23I will take it away
16:25And I will set it here
16:27With CTRL-ALT-0
16:29I have already made a video on camera settings
16:31In episode no. 37
16:33And in episode no. 38
16:35You can see
16:37How we set the camera
16:39After watching this episode
16:41It will be very easy for you to move the camera
16:43Now I have to bring the camera
16:45Close to it
16:47And first of all
16:49I will create a plane axis
16:51And whatever thing
16:53I want to show you in the camera
16:55I want to show you the interior
16:57I will set it here
16:59In the middle
17:01So that my camera
17:03Can focus here
17:05Now I will set my empty
17:07On my camera
17:09And according to this empty
17:11My camera will move here
17:13Now let's go to our camera
17:15I will select this camera from here
17:17And I will use a constraint
17:19Which is my track 2 constraint
17:21You just have to select the track 2 constraint
17:23Go to camera
17:25Remember that your camera should be selected here
17:27And target
17:29Will become a dropper
17:31And select your empty
17:33From here
17:35Now what it will do
17:37It will target our empty
17:39And wherever our empty will move
17:41Our camera will automatically
17:43Hold it and move
17:45Means wherever you take the camera
17:47It will focus on this empty
17:49Now the first thing I have to do
17:51If I look here
17:53I can see this car from far
17:55And for this
17:57I will start the animation
17:59Before starting the animation
18:01My real position
18:03Current position
18:05I will click on the location
18:07Rotation option
18:09I will click on it
18:11My first keyframe will be created
18:13So my first keyframe
18:15Is created here
18:17Before creating the keyframe
18:19I will bring my timeline forward
18:21I will set it at 80
18:23And now I will hold this camera
18:25And move it forward
18:27First I will bring it from the Y axis
18:29Close to the car
18:31And how close you have to keep the car
18:33Here it is a little far
18:35So I take it a little closer
18:37And I will take it a little down
18:39I will make it a little further back
18:41So that my car
18:43It can be shown here
18:45If you want to hold the empty
18:47And adjust it
18:49You can adjust your camera like this
18:51So now the second keyframe
18:53I will make it here
18:55I will press the I button
18:57And my second keyframe will be created
18:59Now if I check the animation in camera mode
19:01So you will see how my camera
19:05Will come very close to the car
19:07Now here you are seeing
19:09This camera is moving very quickly
19:11It is working very quickly
19:13So the reason for this is
19:15Our frames are very small
19:17So if you want to correct it
19:19The way it is moving
19:21For that you have to do a small thing
19:23Go to render setting
19:25And in render setting
19:27The frame rate
19:29Sets the smoothness
19:31The more you want to keep
19:33Slow motion and fast motion
19:35Set the frame high
19:37I will set it at 60
19:39Now if I move the camera
19:41So it will work very smoothly
19:43If you want to work more smoothly
19:45You can increase the frame rate
19:47But remember
19:49The more you increase the frame rate
19:51The more heavy your animation will be
19:53And it will take a lot of load
19:55Because it has a lot of smoothness
19:57Now my camera
19:59Will come very close to the car
20:01In the first pose
20:03If I want to keep the camera stable
20:05So this is my second keyframe
20:07I will move it forward
20:09Means
20:11My camera will be stable here
20:13And in between
20:15The upper cover
20:17I will make it transparent
20:19So if I select the camera
20:21My animation will come here
20:23If I select the body
20:25The animation will disappear
20:27So I have to keep the animation
20:29Between these markers
20:31If you want to see it
20:33You can put a marker
20:35Add marker
20:37If you click on it
20:39The marker will be set
20:41If you want to move on the keyframe
20:43You can move it
20:45With the up and down arrow
20:47So I will come here
20:49On the second keyframe
20:51I will press the M button
20:53And my marker will come here
20:55Now in between
20:57We will make the animation to disappear
20:59You don't have to do anything
21:01Simply select the body
21:03Here you can see
21:05We have already used
21:07BSDF in this
21:09But it is possible that
21:11Your color is made from
21:13Image or something else
21:15Then you won't get
21:17The principle BSDF option
21:19And you won't get the alpha option
21:21In that condition
21:23The transparent BSDF
21:25Will make your node
21:27Things transparent
21:29Which we will explain later
21:31So for now let's see with the color
21:33From here
21:35If you want to make it transparent
21:37Simply put your cursor here
21:39And in between
21:41I will put my timeline
21:43From where I want to make it transparent
21:45And here I will choose the option
21:47Blend
21:49Now if I want to make this part transparent
21:51You will get an option here
21:53To animate
21:55This small point will work
21:57First of all my one position
21:59Means it is full
22:01So I will tick it
22:03And where you want to remove it
22:05There I will
22:07End the transparency
22:09And here if I click it
22:11My keyframe will be made
22:13You can see if I play it
22:15My things will be transparent
22:17Now I will move this keyframe
22:19A little forward
22:21You will click directly at the end
22:23Fill 500 here
22:25So it will be set to 500
22:27Now if I play it from the starting
22:29So you will see how
22:31My camera will come here
22:33And things will be transparent
22:35If you have prepared a script
22:37Then you can make a small window here
22:39You can take a small window from here
22:41Like this
22:43And here you can use
22:45Video sequencer
22:47And you can put your audio here
22:49How do we use audio
22:51I have already told all these things
22:53In episode no. 40
22:55You can see
22:57How do we bring it here
22:59And how do we use it
23:01Now in your speech
23:03You have to explain it here
23:05You can do the outer part from here
23:07But if you want to move the camera
23:09Here
23:11So select your camera
23:13The animation of it will come here
23:15Here
23:17Its animation stability
23:19Has ended here
23:21Means it has ended here
23:23Now whatever animation we will do
23:25It will be of movement
23:27My camera will be stable till here
23:29Now I will bring it closer
23:31Means I want to focus it from top
23:33So first of all
23:35Move your timeline a little forward
23:37So that you get space for animation
23:39And after that
23:41I will bring the camera here
23:43And I will check
23:45What I want to show
23:47If I want to show its seat
23:49So in this way
23:51I will set my seat like this
23:53And if you want to set
23:55The camera here
23:57So you can set it here
23:59I will move it up a little
24:01Now I can see the seat
24:03Properly
24:05Now I will make my keyframe here
24:07And now you will see
24:09Here
24:11So it will come to me
24:13In this way
24:15If you want to make animation fast or slow
24:17So you can set your point here
24:19Now
24:21Now if you want to show
24:23The seat
24:25You can set it here
24:27And now
24:29I want to move my camera
24:31Towards its steering
24:33So I will bring my timeline here
24:35And this time
24:37For its steering
24:39I will set my camera like this
24:41My camera
24:43Will automatically capture everything
24:45Means
24:47Its focus will be here
24:49Because it is
24:51Capturing the axis
24:53And it is able to work here
24:55You can set it here
24:57Check if your steering is visible
24:59My steering is perfectly visible
25:01Now simply
25:03I will make a keyframe for it
25:05With the I button
25:07And now it will move
25:09Towards the steering
25:11If you play it from the starting
25:15So in this way
25:17It will disappear in this way
25:19In this way it will show the seats
25:21In this way it will show the steering
25:23If you have written the script here
25:25So you can open it in the video sequencer
25:27And according to that
25:29You can set your keyframe here
25:31End is done
25:33So I will increase it to 700
25:35Again if you want to
25:37End its transparency
25:39So simply select the car from here
25:41Which is its upper body
25:43And first of all see the animation from the camera
25:45And in the last
25:47I will show you the timeline
25:49Then you can see the transparency
25:51Here
25:53And will go down
25:55And the second keyframe
25:57First of all your keyframe
25:59I will tick it here
26:01And I will move it forward
26:03Means in this much part
26:05It will disappear
26:07This thing will tell you
26:09In this much part
26:11It is the same keyframe
26:13Means in this much part
26:15It will disappear
26:17And I will tick it here
26:19So this is my new keyframe
26:21To end the transparency
26:23So while doing the animation
26:25You have to check everyone's mode
26:27Here you will see the camera's animation
26:29Here you will see
26:31The animation to make it transparent
26:33And maybe more animations
26:35Will come here
26:37Whichever thing you select
26:39Its animation will be visible only when you select it
26:41So you have to keep this thing in mind
26:43If you have any doubt
26:45Where to keep the animation
26:47You can use the camera's marker
26:49Now you will press the zero button
26:51And check the starting
26:53Here you can see
26:55When my color is changing
26:57The body is visible in the big camera
26:59So the old location
27:01From where we started the camera
27:03Duplicate it with the shift D button
27:05And bring it in the last
27:07As you can see
27:09This is the second location
27:11So this area
27:13Is looking good
27:15So I will delete it
27:17And set this position
27:19Here
27:21My color will be hide
27:23And my color will be set here
27:25Now if I
27:27Play it and show you
27:29You will see how well my camera
27:31Will move here
27:33We will come near the car
27:35These things are transparent
27:37First I showed the seat
27:39Then I showed the steering
27:41And then I
27:43Changed the body
27:45Now I will show you the final render
27:47It will look something like this
27:49You can see
27:51Animated line and the text
27:53You can see
27:55For this you have to choose another software
27:57Some video editor software
27:59You have to choose
28:01And how you will edit it
28:03How you will put the text
28:05For that I am making a separate channel
28:07On that you can see
28:09How we interact with Blender
28:11You can find the videos there
28:13To understand more advanced things
28:15We are back
28:17On the screen of Blender
28:19Here we have two balls
28:21One is the green color ball
28:23And inside
28:25We have a red ball
28:27We will make the green color ball transparent
28:29Till now you have seen
28:31We were making it transparent
28:33With the help of alpha
28:35And the alpha option
28:37You can see
28:39With the help of alpha
28:41We made it transparent
28:43But whenever you download a model
28:45From outside
28:47Or use any image texture
28:49Then you will not see the principal BSDF
28:51In that condition
28:53How we will make it transparent
28:55Let's see
28:57First I will make a window
28:59For the shader
29:01I will make it small
29:03And the shader
29:05We will come here
29:07I will make it small
29:09Now the transparent BSDF
29:11You can see
29:13With the help of this
29:15We will make it transparent
29:17If you don't get the principal BSDF
29:19With the help of transparent BSDF
29:21We will make it transparent
29:23When we don't have the principal BSDF
29:25Then the light
29:27And the color
29:29With the help of this
29:31We can see the object
29:33Now we will try to connect it
29:35And we will try to make it transparent
29:37We will not see any effect
29:39Because our object
29:41Is neither light nor color
29:43That's why we are not able to see it
29:45If we remove the principal BSDF
29:47And if we want to make it transparent
29:49Then how we will do
29:51First I will tell you
29:53With the help of transparent BSDF
29:55You have to use one thing
29:57Mix shader
29:59When we need to use two shaders
30:01Then we use mix shader
30:03And if I will connect this shader
30:05After this
30:07Now I need a light
30:09With which my object can be seen
30:11For this you need a BSDF
30:13Which name is
30:15Specular BSDF
30:17This is to show our object
30:19The way our principal BSDF
30:21Has roughness and specular things
30:23With which our object can be seen
30:25In the same way
30:27This is specular BSDF
30:29With which our object can be seen
30:31So first of all
30:33We take a specular BSDF
30:35With the help of both
30:37We can make our object
30:39Transparent
30:41Simply you have to connect it
30:43With another shader
30:45And now we will connect it with the surface
30:47So our object
30:49You can see the light
30:51And second
30:53Now our object is ready to be transparent
30:55Now if you want to change the color
30:57With this option
30:59You can change the color
31:01And the things which were there
31:03They will be here
31:05Now our object
31:07Is ready to be transparent
31:09With the help of this factor
31:11We can make it transparent
31:13And now
31:15If I will drag it
31:17You can see
31:19Things are getting black
31:21Now this is our blend mode
31:23When you will go to material
31:25This blend mode is set on opaque
31:27So first of all
31:29You have to select
31:31Alpha clip, alpha hash or alpha blend
31:33Which ever you want
31:35You have to select this
31:37And you can see
31:39Things are getting transparent
31:41Now if you will drag this factor
31:43As much as you will drag it
31:45It will fill the color and light
31:47As much as you will drag it
31:49As much as you will drag it
31:51It will make it transparent
31:53So in this way
31:55You can make anything transparent
31:57With the help of BSDF
31:59Without any principle
32:01If you want to animate it
32:03It is very easy
32:05Now this factor option
32:07Will help me to animate it
32:09Simply first of all
32:11You have to select it
32:13And in current position
32:15If you want to keep it full
32:17You can do it
32:19And here
32:21This mouse
32:23Should be on this factor
32:25If you make any keyframe
32:27It should be on this factor
32:29Now I will press I button
32:31You will see
32:33Its color has changed
32:35And one keyframe has come
32:37To me
32:39Now you can set it
32:41As much as you want
32:43And I will make it
32:45I will make another keyframe
32:47And mouse cursor should be on this
32:49Now I will press I button
32:51My second keyframe will be made
32:53So in this way
32:55My things will be transparent
32:57Now I will play it
32:59So you will see
33:01How my things are transparent
33:03If you want to make it
33:05More smooth
33:07I have already told you
33:09You have to make the frame rate 60
33:11And this thing
33:13Will come in front of me
33:15So here you can see
33:17I have taken main
33:19And if I am doing any explanation
33:21Suppose I want to show
33:23Its mind
33:25Or
33:27I want to show its heart
33:29By making it transparent
33:31So how will I show it
33:33Let's see
33:35First of all
33:37I will select this mind
33:39And from N button
33:41I will search brain
33:43Brain, heart
33:45If you want anything
33:47You can take it
33:49I will take this brain
33:51And import it
33:53So you can see
33:55My brain is imported
33:57I have already told you about this panel
33:59If you want to download models of sketchfab
34:01For free
34:03You can watch episode 35
34:05How to activate this panel
34:07And how to use things
34:09I have already told you
34:11So I will scale this brain
34:13And make it small
34:15And I will bring it up
34:17And here
34:19I will scale it with S button
34:21And make it small
34:23And I will set it here
34:27I will make it small with S button
34:29And with R button
34:31In Z direction
34:33I will rotate it 180 degree
34:35Like this
34:37Now
34:39My brain is
34:41Imported
34:43Now if I want to make it transparent
34:45So to make it transparent
34:47I will use a shader
34:49I will pick up my shader
34:51Now you can see
34:53You will get this type of nodes
34:55If you download model
34:57You will get this type of nodes
34:59And their textures
35:01Are always different
35:03If you want to use
35:05Transparent BSDF
35:07Panel
35:09You have to bring it
35:11And you will never use it
35:13Directly
35:15If you try to use it
35:17Two nodes are not connected
35:19Because of this
35:21It will be blackish
35:23First of all you have to see
35:25Where is the color coming from
35:27So this color
35:29Is coming from this panel
35:31You can see
35:33You always have to
35:35Add it in the other panel
35:37So with this glossy panel
35:39We will add it here
35:41You never have to bother
35:43About the color panel
35:45You always have to add it
35:47In the other panel
35:49Wherever it is
35:51You have to follow this process
35:53If you want to use both of them
35:55You can use mix shader
35:57I will press shift A button
35:59And in this
36:01We will connect the things
36:03First of all I will apply
36:05Transparent BSDF
36:07And under it I will apply Glossy BSDF
36:09And now I will connect it
36:11Now if I want to make the head
36:13Transparent
36:15I will go to material
36:17And I will make it alpha blend
36:19After alpha blend
36:21You will see it is transparent
36:23You will always see
36:25This weird texture
36:27You have to remove it
36:29You have to always
36:31Tick it
36:35And you can see
36:37My model is transparent
36:39Now if you want to
36:41Fill it
36:43You can keep it full
36:45And if you want to animate it
36:47You can make a keyframe
36:49From node
36:51You just have to select it
36:53And remember your cursor
36:55Should be on the shader
36:57And I will make
36:59The first keyframe
37:01And I will bring it
37:03To 80
37:05And I will bring it to 60
37:07Now if I want to make
37:09The second keyframe
37:11I will make it 0
37:13So that it will be transparent
37:15And I will bring my cursor
37:17And I will press I button
37:19So it will be transparent
37:21Now I will play it
37:23So you will see
37:25It is transparent
37:27So if you want to explain
37:29Anything in the body part
37:31You can make it transparent
37:33Like this
37:35Now if I play it
37:37It will be transparent
37:39I have already told you about camera movement
37:41You can show it
37:43You can see
37:45It is a little blurry
37:47The reason is that my color
37:49Is coming from below
37:51And half of it is transparent
37:53Now if I want to make it fully transparent
37:55I will remove this node
37:57And this mix shader
37:59I will set it here
38:01To set it here
38:03What I have to do
38:05I will set my glossy
38:07And instead of glossy
38:09I will set this shader
38:11Now I will
38:13Connect it
38:15So it will be fully transparent
38:17As much as you need
38:19You can make it transparent
38:21And as much as you
38:23Fill it
38:25It will be untransparent
38:27So this was our transparent BSDF
38:29Now all the things are covered
38:31All my BSDF
38:33I have already covered
38:35Now 2-3 BSDF are left
38:37Like Refraction BSDF
38:39Refraction BSDF is used in glass
38:41And I have already told you about Refraction in glass
38:43Apart from this
38:45Tune BSDF
38:47It is used to make
38:49This type of things
38:51And with Tune BSDF
38:53We can make this type of things
38:55Very easily
38:57You just have to connect it like this
38:59And here we can use it
39:01But it only works in cycles
39:03It does not work in EV
39:05After Tune BSDF
39:07Next is our
39:09Translucent BSDF
39:11Translucent BSDF also works like
39:13Transparent BSDF
39:15But it is a little different
39:17Let's see
39:19Here you can see
39:21If we use Transparent BSDF
39:23And our
39:25Factor
39:27After Alpha Blend
39:29We reduce it
39:31You can see
39:33It is making it transparent
39:35But I want
39:37My object to be as it is
39:39But only the texture I have applied
39:41Should be transparent
39:43In that condition
39:45We use Translucent BSDF
39:47I will remove it
39:49And show you an example
39:51I will press Shift A
39:53And use Translucent BSDF
39:55If I connect
39:57This node
39:59You can see
40:01My face
40:03Has become white
40:05If I make it full
40:07You can see the texture is perfect
40:09In Transparent BSDF
40:11When I was pulling it
40:13It was making the whole body transparent
40:15But the texture
40:17The color
40:19If you want to make it transparent
40:21Then we can make it transparent
40:23Like this
40:25It is not making the body transparent
40:27Only the color applied
40:29Is making it transparent
40:31If you want to change the shape
40:33Or change the color
40:35You can use it in that condition
40:37The color you have used
40:39You can remove it
40:41You can remove the texture
40:43And the texture inside
40:45Will appear
40:47If I change the color
40:49I can change the color
40:51Like this
40:53And now
40:55I can animate it
40:57Like this
40:59If I pull it
41:01I can see the color
41:03Only the color inside
41:05Is transparent
41:07If I remove it
41:09If I connect it with transparent shader
41:11It will make the whole body
41:13Transparent
41:15Like this
41:17You can make anything transparent
41:19Even the whole body
41:21Only the material
41:23We use translucent
41:25Next we have
41:27Velvet BSDF
41:29If we want to make clothes
41:31Or sofa
41:33If we want to use
41:35Velvet BSDF
41:37We use Velvet BSDF
41:39But let me tell you one thing
41:41Velvet BSDF works only in cycles
41:43It does not work in EV
41:45This Tune BSDF
41:47And this Velvet BSDF
41:49They only work in cycles
41:51And the way we have used
41:53This node
41:55You can also
41:57Connect this node
41:59And use it
42:01If you want detailed video
42:03I will make it in future
42:05I will apply these textures
42:07And show you
42:09You should understand everything
42:11All these BSDF
42:13Are used to color
42:15And other than principal BSDF
42:17If we want to make advanced things
42:19Very clear and good
42:21Cartoons
42:23We use these BSDF
42:25To color
42:27Let's end today's video
42:29All these BSDF
42:31Are covered
42:33One more important topic
42:35Emission
42:37We will make a detailed video
42:39All other things
42:41I have covered
42:43From episode no. 47
42:45We started this node series
42:47All these BSDF
42:49I have covered
42:51In detail
42:53Hair BSDF
42:55I have explained in detail
42:57From episode no. 47
42:59To episode no. 58
