00:08The Barrera doubleheader Sunday night football to get ready for.
00:13Let's talk about it.
00:14The mile high matchup.
00:15It's going to be the Green Bay Packers and the Denver Broncos.
00:18Look at this number here again.
00:19A seven point favorite for the home team.
00:22That's the Denver Broncos in a total of 39 and a half.
00:25Now we understand if this was a regular season game, Dubsy, that line ain't mine is seven
00:29for the Denver Broncos, which leads you to believe there is a quarterback battle that
00:34we still have to determine who's going to win that spot here for the Denver Broncos.
00:38How much are we going to see out of Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers in this game?
00:42So let's start there.
00:43These two teams, different maybe expectations.
00:46Let's see what we can do with the Denver Broncos.
00:48We expect the Green Bay Packers to be a solid playoff contender here in 2024.
00:52But if I ask you a question, starting young quarterbacks like Bo Nix, we saw the early
00:57looks from Sean Payton of the Denver Broncos say, you know what?
01:00We're going to put Bo Nix third on the depth chart.
01:03He looked pretty good in his preseason debut.
01:05Now take a look at game number two.
01:07The expectations for Bo Nix in this game and also Dubs, do we expect Bo Nix to be that
01:11game one starter for the Denver Broncos?
01:14Look, he did everything right in week one of the preseason.
01:18The Broncos offense went off their 34 to 30 against the Colts.
01:22We highlighted the unders was the trend there from week one of the preseason.
01:25Well, it certainly wasn't between the Broncos and the Colts.
01:27I love what I saw from Bo Nix.
01:29I thought he was the standout of week one.
01:31He was sharp.
01:32He showed a lot of poise and maturity in that pocket.
01:35We know he's a tremendous athlete.
01:37And this is a 24-year-old rookie that's seen a lot of refs going through college via Auburn
01:43to Oregon.
01:44So it really doesn't look like he's getting his first touches here in the National Football
01:48League.
01:49Will he be the starter week one?
01:51Similar question marks.
01:52There may be a similar thing that we see around the league that maybe he's held off there
01:55through the first third of the season.
01:57But I think for the Denver Broncos in their best chance at staying in a lot of these games,
02:02I think it would be Bo Nix.
02:04There is plenty of upside and he looked mature beyond his years from what we saw there.
02:08The win titles only set at five and a half for the Broncos.
02:11So the odds makers don't have the biggest of expectations, but you look at the back
02:14end of last year and what they did achieve there for Sean Payton, six and one to close
02:19out the year.
02:20I know there was a lot of speculation, a lot of drama with Russell Wilson, but I think
02:24things are looking a lot better there for the Denver Broncos and they've got some young
02:27guys who are still trying to prove a lot.
02:29So no surprises if we do see Bo Nix, you know, with that jostling for the starting spot between
02:35Stidham and Zach Wilson.
02:37No surprises here.
02:38The Broncos are favored in this one and they're going to be looking at the Green Bay Packers
02:42and saying, that's what we want to look like in one, two, three years from now.
02:47And minus 3.10 coming in for this one on Sunday afternoon.
02:51That's a big number for the Broncos to lay.
02:53They were impressive last week.
02:54They're going to have to take another forward step for this one.
