00:00A transgender who was accused of blackmailing by his ex-girlfriend was found dead in the operation of the authorities.
00:08The suspect is said to be spreading their private videos.
00:12And June Veneracion was arrested.
00:19The PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group responded to a hotel in Baco or Cavite.
00:24They found a man here with his ex-transgender woman who was accused of blackmailing.
00:34The victim agreed to meet the suspect again because he promised to erase and stop spreading their private videos from their five-month relationship.
00:44The best thing I can tell you is to stop spreading your private videos.
00:50What you did to me is so hard. I lost my job because of you.
00:56They went to the barangay to settle and delete these photos and videos.
01:01But the suspect couldn't move on because the victim was breaking up with him.
01:07We tried to get hold of the suspect, who is still in custody of Baco City Police.
01:12But he refused to give a statement.
01:14He is facing grave coercion and violation of the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act, also known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act.
01:22According to the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group, from January to August 15 this year,
01:27238 cases of violation of the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act were reported.
