00:18a video of her and I was just really intrigued and mesmerized by her voice so I decided to

00:24start exploring Arabic music more.

00:26I understand the words because I get translations either online or I get translations from my

00:31Arab speaking friends.

00:33I studied Western music since I was five years old.

00:36I played piano and violin and my parents were classical musicians, they are classical musicians

00:42and something about Arabic music just touched me and it spoke to me in a deeper way than

00:49Western music ever did.

00:56I thought that by going on Arab's Got Talent I would have an audience that would appreciate

01:09me a bit more than if I went on America's Got Talent but now I'm actually rethinking

01:14that because what I'm doing has spread even to America and people seem to like it there

01:20too.
