00:00I've just finished up at a very wet Albion training ground from the press conference
00:04ahead of Saturday lunchtimes. Opener at home at the Hawthorns against Leeds United, really
00:09a game to savour I think this weekend. Home opener, first home game of the season, really
00:14one to look forward to, get stuck into, isn't it? But with such a good championship fixture
00:20to look forward to, there's real anticipation I think ahead of this one and that was certainly
00:24shared by a really informed and excited Carlos Corbijn ahead of this game. We had the news
00:31going into the press conference that 20,000 season tickets had been sold, which is quite
00:36an incredible return amid a period of financial difficulty for the club, which of course supporters
00:41know about, but they've rallied, they've responded and the head coach's response to that was
00:45superb. You could tell he was really taken aback and he just loves it. So, fantastic
00:52to hear. Obviously we know the owners in town, Shilin Patel's at the Albion Assembly
00:55tonight to meet and greet and introduce and he'll be at the game too on Saturday. So lots
01:01to come from a busy press conference. Obviously you can follow all that online at expressonstar.com.
01:07We've got some team news immediately to bring and it's positive actually. Jed Wallace and
01:11Grady Deangarna, two key Albion attackers, obviously wide players. Grady can and has
01:17been playing centrally, of course, last season. Both trained today and trained pretty, if
01:22not full training, then the most part and the expectation is that they'll be able to
01:27train again tomorrow and should they come through unscathed there, they'll be part of
01:31the squad to face the Whites on Saturday lunchtime. So massive boost to have them both available
01:36and in contention. Obviously differing points out in terms of the calf problems. Jed Wallace
01:42did most of pre-season, whereas Grady did very little. So they'll take a little time
01:47respectively to sort of get up to speed. But a massive boost really to have them back around
01:51so soon into the season. Carlos Corberán was in fantastic mood. Really looking forward to
01:58the game. I think everyone is really, as I say, the home opener. Just want to say that
02:04most seasons, isn't it? And there's a good feeling going into this one. Transfer update
02:08was given. Stay tuned for that in the next day or so. Obviously, there'll be nothing
02:13before tomorrow, but Carlos Corberán and Ian Pearce very busy in that regard with the
02:16three or four players that they still want to bring in this month.
