00:00Hi kids, today we will learn about different forms of verbs that are used for present tense
00:10and past tense.
00:12So let's start.
00:16We know action words are called verbs, like crawling, dancing, singing, jumping, digging,
00:27reading, painting, writing, cutting, cleaning, hopping, polishing, bathing, eating, sleeping,
00:38etc.
00:39And in the previous sections, we learned that verbs that come after I, you, we, they, and
00:49plural nouns do not end with S or ES.
00:54Example, I like apples.
00:59You like apples.
01:01They play the piano daily.
01:04I go for dance classes daily.
01:08Rita and Tia go for music classes daily.
01:13So we didn't add S or ES after the verb.
01:18Like go, plays, all are without S or ES.
01:25And the verbs that come after he, she, it, and singular nouns end with SES.
01:34He likes mangoes.
01:37Rita plays with the piano daily.
01:40He goes for swimming classes daily.
01:43Barry goes for dance classes daily.
01:47Rita goes for music classes daily.
01:51Mary sings very well.
01:54So we have added S or ES after the verbs.

02:09Now we will be learning the verbs for present and past.

02:27See how the monkeys hold their children?
02:30I often go to the zoo.
02:34Here the verbs are look, jump, eat, play, hold, go.
02:43These verbs tell that the action is done in the present.
02:49Now let's see some examples of past tense.
02:55I looked at the monkeys in the cage.
02:58They ate, played, and jumped.
03:01They ate the bananas so quickly.

03:22All these verbs show that the actions were performed in past.
03:30Let's see some more examples.

03:36Here the verb shows present tense.
03:39I played football.
