00:35So, let us begin.
00:37This unique journey of Unsung Heroes of India Independence.
00:41The first story is of Matangi Hazra,
00:44who is also known as the Gandhiburi of Bengal.
00:47Matangi Hazra was born in 1869
00:50and she was from an ordinary farmer's family.
00:53Her main role was in the Leave India Movement,
00:56where she faced the bullets of the British police at the age of 71.
01:01Hazra had organised a rally in her village, Tamluk,
01:05in which she protested against the salt laws made by the British
01:09and herself flew a Tiranga at the police station.
01:12She was shot three times during the rally
01:15and she was martyred while chanting the slogans of Vande Matram.
01:19Kamala Devi Chattopadhyay,
01:21a woman who marched on the path of revolution.

01:34to speak on the national and international stage for India's freedom.
01:38She participated in the Satyagraha for 60 years
01:41and took part in many protests with Gandhi.
01:45After independence, she worked to revive India's folk art and art form
01:51and gave a new identity to handicrafts all over the world.
01:56Mudhiram Bose was the youngest revolutionary of the Indian Independence Movement
02:02who gave up his life for the country at the age of 18.
02:06He was born in 1889 in the West Medinapur district of Bengal.
02:12Bose and Prafula Chakki tried to kill British Judge Kingsford in Muzaffarpur
02:18which was known as a harsh punishment for many revolutionary activities.
02:23In this attempt, they succeeded and were caught.
02:26On 11 August 1908, Mudhiram was hanged.
02:31But his courage and sacrifice has still inspired us today.
02:36Rani Gayadallu, who was a Naga spiritual and political leader,
02:41jumped into the fight for the freedom of Nagaland at the age of 13.
02:45She organized her people against the British rule
