00:04The south-west monsoon is continuously weakening,

00:07which is only occurring here in the extreme northern zone.

00:10While the remaining part of the country is experiencing hot and humid weather,

00:15fair weather conditions,

00:16but it will still be accompanied by heavy rains or thunderstorms.

00:21Based on our latest satellite animation,

00:23we can't see any storm or low-pressure area

00:26within and around the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

00:29We have cloud clusters in Visayas and Mindanao,

00:32which are associated with gusts of wind

00:35and will not approach our land.

00:39As of Friday,

00:40fair weather conditions are still expected in a large part of the country,

00:44especially here in the Luzon.

00:45When we say fair,

00:46we don't expect heavy rains to continue,

00:49except in Batanes and Baboyan Islands,

00:51where the south-west monsoon is still there.

00:55For the rest of Luzon,

00:56it is still expected to be sunny from morning to afternoon,

00:59and then from dusk to dusk,

01:01there are chances of rains.

01:03Those are localized thunderstorms,

01:04which are short-term rains

01:05here in the remaining part of the northern Luzon,

01:07Rest of Cagayan Valley,

01:08Cordillera Region,

01:09Ilocos Region,

01:10here in some parts of the central Luzon,

01:12including Antarlac, Aurora, and Nueva Ecija.

01:15There are only short-term rains

01:17lasting for two to three hours,

01:19and there are places in the southern Luzon,

01:21including Metro Manila,

01:22where there is no rain or a low chance of rain.

01:25And because of the fair weather today,

01:27it is expected that there will be high temperatures in many areas,

01:30especially in the coastal areas here in Luzon,

01:32for Cagayan and Isabela,

01:33up to 35 degrees Celsius,

01:36in the Ilocos Provinces,

01:37up to 32 degrees,

01:39and possible over here in Metro Manila,

01:41nearby places,

01:42like Bicol Region,

01:43Legazpi City,

01:44and Naga,

01:45up to 34 degrees Celsius

01:47when the afternoon comes.

01:49So avoid sunbathing today

01:52from 10am to 3pm.

01:56To our fellow Filipinos in Palawan,

01:58the weather will also be sunny today

02:01because there are only localized thunderstorms

02:03that we will experience from dusk to dusk.

02:06While here in a large part of Visayas,

02:08it is cloudy until the sky is cloudy.

03:05in the eastern and southern portions of Mindanao

03:07where the chance of rain is low.

03:09As for our temperature in Metro Davao,

03:11it is possible to rise to 34 degrees Celsius,

03:14while here in Zamboanga,

03:1626 to 34 degrees,

03:18and in some parts,

03:19between 32 to 33 degrees Celsius

03:21is the maximum air temperature.

03:23As a reminder to our fellow Filipinos,

03:25here in Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan,

03:27stay hydrated

03:29and bring a heater

03:31such as an umbrella or an umbrella.

03:34As for the weekend,

03:36we still expect fair weather conditions,

03:38partly cloudy,
