00:00During the last session of the President, he declared a ban on POGOs but there was no thank you to you and to Senator Nguyen Gatchalian who investigated this and gave a public clamor to ban POGOs.
00:15It's okay if there is no thank you to the President for me and maybe for all of us who advocated, especially in the Senate and even before in the House against POGOs.
00:30For me, the biggest thank you from the President is the ban itself on POGOs, Effective July 22 ban, all POGOs, whatever their name is,
00:41to wind down until the end of this year and start the just transition for those who worked on POGOs to have a better and better job.
00:54And also, thank you to Mama Mayang Pilipino, if anyone, this POGO ban is a great success to our victim survivors, whistleblowers, witnesses, government agencies like DOJ-IACAT, NBI, and others who helped our committee.
01:14Thank you to all of them and this is the success of all of them and our countrymen.
01:20That's the thank you, that's the only thank you we're asking for.
01:24Senator Riza, they said that the thank you is not enough because what happened to the licensees, according to the PAG Court Chair Altenco, it's only 43-44.
01:33But the Sandamakmak 250 plus POGOs that have no registration or are legally working, how is that? I think the President's order is not enough.
01:45I think like what Soljen Guevara and PAG Court Chair Altenco said, it's complete and unequivocal that there are no exceptions to the President's ban.
01:58For me, it's complete.
02:01For the covered licensees that were initiated by the PAG Court, it's simple to cancel them.
02:06The PAG Court should recover the license.
02:08That is a violation of the President's order on his ban.
02:14For those former licensees who lapsed, suspended their license, did not apply or did not qualify, if they continue to operate illegally, then they will be a law enforcement concern.
02:30Our law enforcement agencies will shift to PNP and NBI to enforce the policy, the President's ban against POGOs.
02:42According to PAG Court Chair Altenco, our problem with this is that these illegal POGOs might go underground.
02:49You yourself in the Senate, you are exposing the so-called corporate bail or layers of concealment of subsidiaries, sub-licensees or service operators
03:03that are affiliated with POGOs that have licenses but multiple sub-licensees.
03:09How is that? Are they included? Because if the order was given only by the PAG Court, I think the police operation is not enough and other agencies should also be involved.
03:19Well, the police operations or law enforcement is natural to follow the President's ban on POGOs.
03:27Those who do not cease operations, those who do not leave the Philippines if they go underground, they will be subject to the law enforcement work of the government.
03:39The corporate layering to conceal a house in a company, that company will be concealed in a corporation,
03:49we will also discuss in the further investigation and it should be subject to the proper investigation of our investigative agencies and law enforcement agencies
04:00if it can be proven that there are administrative and criminal accountabilities there.
