00:00The World Health Organization once again declared viral disease Mpox as a global public health emergency.

00:08This is followed by the outbreak of the disease known as Monkeypox in the Democratic Republic of Congo,

00:14which is now spreading to other neighboring countries.

00:17The Public Health Emergency of International Concern is the highest alert issued by the WHO

00:24to speed up the investigation, funding, and assistance of other countries.

00:31More than 500 people in Africa are infected with Mpox this year,

00:35while there are more than 17,000 suspected cases.

00:38This is the second time that the Global Public Health Emergency of Mpox has been declared

00:43after it was first raised in 2022.
