01:08:29as was Shawn Michaels, CM Punk, Bianca Belair, Chelsea Green, and even Baron Corbin.

01:08:34They kept a close eye on the competition along with the Performance Center coaches.

01:08:38Congratulations to all those that took part in the SummerSlam Tryout.

01:08:43And there is Izzy Dane, who of course had a tryout back in 2022.

01:08:48It was also at SummerSlam.

01:08:50It was in Nashville.

01:08:51A volleyball standout.

01:08:52Tall, confident selection at Eastern Michigan.

01:08:55She put her pursuit of a professional volleyball career to the side

01:08:58to become a WWE Superstar.

01:09:12And her opponent, Brindley Reese!

01:09:17And the same can be said for her opponent here tonight

01:09:20as these two had that back and forth

01:09:22and talked about how tensions between the two started in Nashville

01:09:26during those SummerSlam 2022 tryouts.

01:09:29And there you see Reese, who is from Sacramento State University,

01:09:32a cheerleader.

01:09:33Three months, Booker, after graduation,

01:09:35she stepped into a WWE ring at that tryout for the very first time.

01:09:40Think about that.

01:09:41Both these women, for the first time ever,

01:09:43stepped into a wrestling ring two years ago.

01:09:46There's a lot of upside, I'm going to say, with Brindley Reese.

01:09:48But if I could give her any advice, she's got to focus.

01:09:52She has to focus because she has a lot of talent.

01:09:54And right now, she's in the ring with Izzy Dane,

01:09:57who has been under the expert tutelage of Fiona James.

01:10:05since their tryout two years ago.

01:10:16two years ago, stepped into a ring for the first time ever,

01:10:19and now they're here on NXT.

01:10:21Watching these ladies do that playbook always.

01:10:23So you've got to be able to go into your tryout bag,

01:10:26and these ladies definitely are learning that.

01:10:29You don't learn it overnight.

01:10:33And you've got to appreciate Ava's decision, by the way,

01:10:35on the No Mercy Gauntlet Eliminator.

01:10:47from the field of superstars have never challenged

01:10:50for the NXT Women's Championship.

01:11:01The thing is, Izzy should have been considered

01:11:04to have a buy into that tournament.

01:11:27with all understanding and know-how to make sure

01:11:38she already thinks she's a WWE legend.

01:11:39You can look at her social media and see where she was sitting

01:11:41at SummerSlam, but here it's NXT.

01:11:43She's going one-on-one with Reese.

01:11:49Reese creating some separation, and Reese got caught,

01:11:53and oh, she got landed.
