झारखंड में विधानसभा चुनाव की तैयारी को लेकर झारखंड कांग्रेस के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष राजेश ठाकुर दिल्ली में पार्टी के नेताओं के साथ मीटिंग कर उन्होंने IANS के साथ बातचीत करते हुए इस मीटिंग को लेकर कहा कि, "मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे और राहुल गांधी की मौजूदगी में बैठक में सभी मुद्दों पर चर्चा की गई। सदन में जो मुद्दे उठाए जाते हैं, और उसको अमल में हम कैसे लेकर आए इस पर चर्चा हुई। बैठक में यह तय हुआ कि संविधान को कैसे बचाना है, कास्ट सक्सेस कैसे करना है और करप्शन को कैसे भागना है, ट्रिपल सी पर भी चर्चा हुई। इन तीनों पर एक कार्यक्रम की रूपरेखा तैयार की जाएगी। उसके बाद सभी राज्यों के प्रभारी को और अध्यक्षों की इसकी सूचना दी जाएगी। जहां तक झारखंड की बात है तो झारखंड में फिर से 'जन संवाद यात्रा' शुरू करना चाहते हैं और इसके लिए मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे और राहुल गांधी से समय मांगा हुआ है तो वह समय जल्द दिया जाए ताकि हम अपने अभियान की शुरुआत कर सकें। इस पर सहमति बनी है कि बहुत जल्द रैली आयोजित करके कार्यक्रम को आयोजित किया जाएगा। संभव है सितंबर के प्रथम सप्ताह में कार्यक्रम तय होने की उम्मीद है।
